He arched his brow and looked down at him, his jawline more defined.

Zhan sobbed then the first thing he saw was the mess on his suit, his eyes widened.

He panicked, unable to look up.

“The first coffee, now make up, are you always this careless? Why did I ever get you back into the company.”

“My apologies sir.” Zhan replied tartly.

“You may have con Haoxuan into convincing me that you are good for the job.”

“So then I will assume you’re sleeping with him because I can’t think of any other reason why he had the guts to come to the office requesting you back.”

Zhan would have slapped him again if not for the promotion letter in his hand.

Zhan snapped angrily then he paused, lowered his gaze and added quietly.

“I don’t sleep with men for a favor, it’s an insult to me sir, I and Haoxuan are nothing but good friends.”

“I guess I gave you too much credit then, there’s nothing sexually attractive about you anyway.”

Yibo started and folded his length on his office chair.

Zhan shook his head in disbelief at his cruel remarks fighting back the urge to throw that letter at him and put him to his place.

“Does hurting people’s feelings make you feel happy?” he questioned with a slight grimace.

Yibo glanced at him beneath lowers eyelids.

“I am never happy, do I look like a clown?” he sneered.

“No, because clowns have hearts.” Zhan bluntly replied.

Yibo stood there unable to say another word, His jaw clenched but yet he showed no sign of anger or emotion.

“You know I can fire you right away.”

“What are you now, heartless fireman?” Zhan murmured.
