Carmen looked at the gun and raised the gun at her head “I killed my son… i shot him.”

 

 

Both Yibo and Haikuan shouted “NO MOM STOP!”

 

 

But Carmen keeps on chanting the same mantra…

 

 

Yibo signal Haikuan to move at Carmen back.

 

 

Yibo tries to calm her “No mom I’m here, look at me. I’m standing in front of you.”

 

 

Yibo saw Haikuan was moving slowly and then he grab his mom hand and Yibo run and forcefully took the gun.

 

 

Then they heard siren voice… Yibo sigh.. 911 is here…

 

 

Carmen was screaming like a mad woman and she kept on saying “I shot my son I shot my son.”

 

 

Haikuan and Yibo saw some officers and medic team…

 

 

Haikuan looked at him “What the fuck is going on.”

 

 

Yibo gives him a look “Isn’t that obvious.”

 

 

The officer’s team took Carmen’s distressed and screaming body downstairs… and Yibo felt his inner body parts to be screaming looking at his mother’s condition… looks like god has to start punishing this family in his own way.

 

 

Yibo felt someone touch his shoulder.

 

 

“Sir you are bleeding you need to get checked.” the young lady in white shirt said to him.

 

 

Yibo then looked at his left arm which was fully covered in blood “No treat my wife he needs more help first.”

 

 

Yibo turn to look Zhan who was still in shocked and was holding his midsection… he was crying badly.

 

 

He runs to him “Heyy Heyy its all done.. its all done.”

 

 

Zhan touch Yibo arm.

 

 

“You are shot because of me.” Zhan said in a heavy voice.

 

 

Yibo winces and shake his head “No it was mom fault yours not… come one medic team need to treat you.”

 

 

Zhan shook his head “No no you need more help.. you are shot Yibo… like real shot.” he shouted.

 

 

The medic girl came forward “Sir we will look after your husband by other member but you are shocked now and I can feel your anxiety attack so plz let me help you.”

 

 

Zhan sit down and they start wiping his blood.

 

 

Yibo looked at Zhan feel his body to be shivering.. what if he was late.. what if mom hurt Zhan and Fei.

 

 

Then it clicks to him… Fei… where the hell is Fei… He looked at Zhan…

 

 

“Fei… Zhan, where is Fei?”

 

 

Zhan who comes back from his shocked…. he opens his mouth.

 

 

“Oh god… I put her inside the cabinet room… leave me… I want to go.”

 

 

He tries to stand but Yibo put him down and forcibly said to him.

 

 

“No you sit down… I will go… and please don’t leave him alone.” he looks at the medic girl.

 

 

He runs inside his room… and was stun to see the disheveled appearance of the room.. oh god…

 

 

He then runs to open the cabinet room and saw his lifeline. Was sitting in the dark corner and was holding both of her ears in terror….

 

 

She get scared when the door open and Fei begged “sooory soooory…. don’t hurt mama.. dont hurt me!” Fei sobbed.

 

 

Yibo broke down when he saw his daughter condition like that.

 

 

Mom why you did this…

 

 

He kneel down and softly said. “Hey sweetie its daddy…. you save… daddy is here.” he touch her cold hands…

 

 

Fei recognizing her father voice and looked him and hugged him tight.

 

 

“daddy… plss daddy save mama and me from grandma.”

 

 

Yibo kissed her head and wiped her tears.

 

 

“Shh ssh daddy is here… grandma is gone. She won’t hurt you again…I swear to god.” his tears were also falling.

 

 

He picked Fei and took her out… his arm was screaming in pain but he tries to control it., he will see himself after Fei and Zhan are checked.

 

 

He saw Zhan was bandaged and was looking physically alright but emotionally it was a different case.

 

 

Zhan saw Fei and jumped to them “Fei my baby.. I’m so sorry baby so sorry.” he took Fei from Yibo hold and checked her.

 

 

Yibo yelled at the team to checked his daughter… the medic give the green signal and said “Fei is fine but little disturbed…but sir you need to go to the hospital this is bullet wound.. you need stitches…”

 

 

Yibo argued “I’m not leaving my family alone… do whatever you can do here.”

 

 

But it was Zhan who stops him “Please Yibo… you are bleeding please go… for my.. I mean for Fei sake please.”

 

 

Yibo wiped Zhan tears “I don’t want to leave you alone Zhan… I cant.”

 

 

Zhan shakes his head.

 

 

“No you will go. I will stay in Fei room… she is also little disturb… but go now and come back soon.” he said it with so much regard and pain.

 

 

Yibo nodes and kissed his forehead and Fei cheeks “I will be back soon.”

“Sir Mrs Wang Carmen try to hurt Mrs Wang Zhan and your daughter Wang Fei… since it’s a serious offence she is under the custody of law… but checking her mental condition it is observed she is under the influence of lots of brain… relaxant meds that had a reaction.. and now she is a threat for people around her so we have decided to keep her in mental ward…. till the court decide what next is.”

 

 

The officer informed Yibo and Haikuan.

 

 

Both of them were shocked and so quite…. when they sit down on the car they were too shaken to say something.

 

 

After a moment Yibo looked at Haikuan “Will you drive now.”

 

 

Haikuan flinched and looked at Yibo “fuck i need a moment.. dude… I still can’t believe what the fuck happen… mom was really ok this morning…. she was seen to be little relax and content…. i still think this evening the women we have seen its not mom.”

 

 

Yibo sighs and hold his wounded arm and shake his head.

 

 

“Tell me about it but the moment I saw the gun in her hand and the way she was pointing at Zhan I knew it she is not our mom who can’t hurt someone… she was someone else…. we should have focused more on her mental health… (he pinched his nose) see what she did.”

 

 

Haikuan looked at Yibo arm and shiver “Still can’t believe she shot you…. i feel like throwing up…. what we are going to say, to dad… to everyone.” his eyes were bulging out because of fear.

 

 

Yibo shrugs “I don’t even want to think about it now as dad is concern I think he is no fool to see this coming… fuck even I also have a doubt that mom is not right in her head… remember that time when she hurt Fei.”

 

 

Yibo still feel that immerse anger when Carmen hurt Fei.

 

 

When they reached home…. Yibo looked at Haikuan…

 

 

“You should go and check Ann… she might be worried which is not good for the baby…”

 

 

Haikuan nodes slowly.

 

 

Yibo walked to his wing… which look too quite as compare to what happened in the evening event…. he felt the goose bumps…. and then sudden shooting pain in his arm.

 

 

He saw Fei room light as open… he wanted to check Fei so walk there… and saw Zhan was rocking Fei sleeping body a while Zhan’s eyes were also closed.

 

 

He slowly walked towards him and touch Zhan’s head which bandaged… he felt the tears…. even making a promise to him and his brother not to hurt him he somehow hurt him.

 

 

Zhan eyes open suddenly in fear and gasp…

 

 

Yibo squeezed his hand “hi it’s me.”

 

 

Zhan took a relief breath.

 

 

“Oh god…. what happens there are you ok… where’s Carmen?” Zhan asked three questions in once.

 

 

Yibo look down “For now everything in ok… mom… mom is put in a mental ward…. officers and doctors told us she is not right to form her mind.. she is dangerous… now the court will decide what will happen to her.”

 

 

Zhan feels bad but also instant relief too.

 

 

Yibo gently grace Fei head “How is she?’

 

 

Zhan gently put Fei small body and put blanket on her.

 

 

“Little shaken what happens this evening but she got ok afterward…. but she was asking about you nonstop… even I try to distract her but I think she got scared when I put her in the closet room…. she was very scared.”

 

 

Zhan was regretting and feel guilty that Yibo have it.

 

 

Yibo shakes his head “No baby… you did the smartest thing…. you protect Fei… you are the best mother Fei can have…. if you haven’t put Fei in the closet room then don’t know what mom had done…. she is scared but not for the reason you are thinking.”

 

 

Zhan’s eyes were moist “you think so?”

 

 

He holds Zhan to face “yeah I’m sure.”

 

 

Zhan eyes then move to his arm “Your arm?”

 

 

Yibo smile “It’s fine the bullet just touched the skin that why it was so much blood… (he hesitant to share the news) as it also hit one of my veins that broke down let to the loss of blood but fortunately bullet was missed.”

 

 

Zhan put the hand on his head and closes his eyes like he was having a terrible headache.

 

 

Yibo said “Come on you need sleep. I will call Xieli to sleep in Fei room.”

 

 

Zhan looked at Fei “I don’t want to leave her alone.. what if she wakes up… can we take her to our room please.”

 

 

Yibo was quite then node “Ok… I will also feel much better let me pick her then.”

 

 

Zhan touches Yibo’s arm… that made Yibo feel some sensation in his heart.

 

 

Zhan removes his hand abruptly like he also feels the same “I will… your arm is hurt.”

 

 

After coming to their room and putting Fei in the middle of the bed Yibo told Zhan he needs to use the washroom.

 

 

When Yibo came back… he can’t see Zhan anywhere… then he heard a sniping sound from the balcony…. fuck why Zhan is crying now?

 

 

He looked concern when Zhan was holding his stomach and was sitting in one of the chairs on the balcony.

 

 

He also sits down “Zhan why are you crying.”

 

 

Zhan winced and looked too broken to reply. “I still can’t take out those images… I was so scared that what if something happens to Fei… you know I just can’t help her at that moment… Carmen first points the gun at Fei first… I still don’t know how I even manage to take her to the closet room..

 

 

Yibo also flinched in shocked “what?” mom point the gun at Fei

 

 

Zhan nodes while crying “She was she said you kill my daughter because I have taken her daughter from her so she will take mine.”

 

 

Yibo feel like throwing up…. how can mom even say that…. what if mom denial has really killed both of them… he tightens his hold on the armchair that made him yelped in pain.

 

 

Zhan looked him “Yibo… are you hurt… what should I do.”

 

 

It really touches him that after all the things happen with him Zhan still care for him… of course, people like Zhan are always who think of others even those others have hurt him the most…

 

 

Yibo saw how close Zhan was to him. He can feel Zhan breath on his face… thank god Zhan is fine… he is in front of him otherwise the thing he saw a few hours ago he was sure for a moment he lost him for good..

Xiao Zhan

 

 

Zhan can see how Yibo was close to him… how he saved his life… how his tears look so genuine and concerned.

 

 

Yibo touched his face and wiped his tears “I’m fine but I think (his tears were also falling) I might have died if something happens to one of you… I might have killed myself.”

 

 

Yibo just can’t control himself and did something that he wanted to do for a year that he always does in his dreams.

 

 

He kissed him…. he kissed Zhan with so much love and passion like it was his last wish…

 

 

Zhan was tense in shocked what was happening and did not respond to him but the way he was kissing him … and the emotional mess he was… he opens his mouth and kissed him back.

 

 

Yibo makes a pleasure sound in his mouth and kissed him more roughly like Zhan was his reason to breath…

 

 

“Oh god Zhan, I wanted to do this for a long time.” Yibo touch his nipples and kissed him hard.

 

 

Zhan who was enjoying intimacy after a long-term feel so good… but then he sees the flashes of Yibo cruelty… Carmen pointing gun at Fei…. his struggle in prison…. he opens his eyes in terror and pushed Yibo hard.

 

 

Yibo move back in shocked and raise his eyebrow in confusion “What? Zhan.”

 

 

Zhan stand and redo his shirt. “Don’t you dare to touch me again… don’t you ever do that to me.” he bites his lips to control the sobbed that he wanted to take out.

 

 

Yibo was breathing heavily; Zhan looks him in disgust and walks away.

 

 

Zhan lies down in bed and holds Fei small body and smell her baby fragrance and kissed her, then he saw Yibo came after a minute; looking little calm, he saw Yibo picked the mattress and put it down on the floor without meeting his eyes…

 

 

Zhan who knew was so stupid to do that but he can’t see an injured man because of him to lie down on the floor.

 

 

Without looking at him he say, “You can sleep on the bed.”

 

 

Yibo looks at his back. “Are you ok with that.”

 

 

Zhan sighs and replied slowly “You are hurt that’s why I’m ok and Fei is in the middle so..”

 

 

Yibo tightly replied in irritation “So I won’t do anything to you isn’t it? well thank you.”

 

 

Zhan glares at him in anger.

 

 

Yibo lie down and lightly touch Fei’s hair and kissed her forehead and then close his eyes.

 

 

But Zhan knows Yibo is not sleeping nor he is. Today a lot of thing happen and night is the always time for them to think about what next will happen.
