Chapter 5

After the tough competition between the stars, the staff gave them their prizes and wrap up their shooting for the day but still, it is a variety show so Xiao Zhan always remind Yibo not to flirt on the set. However, the said actor ignores him after the game, this is the first time it happened. He knows how competitive Yibo is, but he didn’t know that he would ignore him just because of it.

 

“Hey Wang Yibo, are you listening to me?” Xiao Zhan said as he was still following Yibo towards his assigned room. Yibo just simply ignored him and said “Traitor” and just slammed the door on this face. Xiao Zhan is getting mad as well, but he is trying to control himself. “That kid” he just mumbled to himself and left.

 

“Is that Zhanzhan?” Talu asked Yibo, he almost forgot that he is sharing a room with his manager’s ‘childhood friend.’ He just ignores him and lies directly on his bed. So Talu just opened the door and tried to follow Zhan, but Yibo loudly said.

 

“They will have a staff meeting.” Which is clearly a lie, and thinking why this man keeps following his manager, so he asked him “Do you have a manager?”

 

“Oh, I see, yes, his name is Fanxing” Talu said as he closed the door and went back to his bed.

 

“And where is he?” Yibo asked.

 

“Oh, he’s not here today, he has something to with the agency regarding my schedule and I told him I can just handle myself haha”

 

“Mn”

 

“Are you mad that I chose Zhanzhan earlier?” Talu asked and Yibo just stared at him and answered “No, why would I be?” He’s just irritated but felt betrayed by Zhan.

 

“Well, I heard from Zhan that you are competitive, that must be the reason.”

 

“Mn” Yibo hummed just to finish the conversation as his mood was getting sour so grab the prize beer on their mini fridge and went outside. Talu just shrug it off and decided to walk outside as well.

 

On the staff room, the staff decided to drink together as they have a large room and start to gossip with each other. Even though Zhan is famous among them he is friendly as well and some of them called him the girl’s friend.  It is because of his hobbies as well, this man is a great cook, can cross stitch and good with arts. He can even repair if there’s a hole in a shirt immediately and always prepared so he’s a go to whenever some managers need help.

 

“So, Zhan-ge, how did you know Wang Talu? You’re so lucky!” Asked Mianmian, she’s the manager of Cheng Xiao, one of the artists from Yuehua as well.

 

“Well, he’s my childhood friend, he used to live in Chonqing but they migrated to Taiwan for a while but still we decided to keep in touch” Zhan happily said.

 

“Aiya Zhanzhan! Are you sure that he’s just a friend?” one of the hairstylists asked.

 

“What are you guys saying, of course” Zhan said. “Oh? Why are you here?” Everyone looks at the door when Zhan asks that question.

 

“Hahaha I’m bored in our room, Yibo left me so what are you guys talking about?” Talu said.

 

“Eh? But he didn’t tell me that he’s going out” Xiao Zhan said and he doesn’t want to disturb Lele as the older guy is already sleeping in the corner of the room.

 

“Sorry guys but let me just check my kid” Quickly Zhan stood up and Talu followed him. He trusts Yibo but at the same time he’s a bit worried since this is the first time that Yibo didn’t inform him that he’s going out. Yibo usually sends him a message when they are on shoot.

Xiao Zhan tried to call Yibo but he is not answering his phone where in fact Yibo actually reject his call, he is getting frustrated as well and Yibo just ignored his message as well, Wang Talu just following him. They don’t have his skateboard, so it is impossible that he’s outside, so he climbed the stairs and saw if there’s a rooftop and there is. When they entered the rooftop, they could hear weird noise but still he decided to check it.

 

“Oh, my goodness! Sorry!” Zhan quickly turned around to avoid the scene and quickly went back to the stairs.

 

“Someone’s having a great night, who are those fearless people having a make out session with bunch of cameras below?” Talu asked, unlike the innocent Zhan, once he heard it, he already had an idea what they were doing but Zhan walked directly to that direction and quickly go back with flushed face.

 

“Yibo and Cheng Xiao” Zhan just sighed and decided to wait for the on the stair, so the two of them just sit there while Zhan is still fanning his face, this is the second time already, but this is worst compared to the first, now he saw Cheng Xiao sitting on Yibo’s lap and like they are eating each other. He knows that they saw him and clearly it was really embarrassing. “Aiyoo”

 

“Bo that’s Zhan-ge right?” Cheng Xiao asked while still on his lap, they are friends, well sometimes with benefits but they both prefer a one-night stand, so they just do it if there’s really no other choice.

 

“Mn, let’s go” Yibo answered with a little smirk, so they decided to go back on their respective room, Yibo has been receiving his call and message, but he’s still irritated and didn’t expect that Xiao Zhan would look for him. Cheng Xiao saw his little smirk and commented, “You’re like a kid.”

 

As they walked down the stairs, they saw the two sitting on the stairs.

 

“Oh my gosh! You scared me, Talu-ge you’re here as well, hi!” Cheng Xiao greets him as they have known each other as well, they already met from different shows before.

 

 

“Oh, it’s you two, so are you really a couple?” Talu said.

 

“Hahahaha you’re kidding Talu-ge, we are just friends, but you’re going to keep it a secret right?” Cheng Xiao said.

 

“Hahaha of course, I don’t want my friend here to clean up another scandal.” Talu said while Xiao Zhan is avoiding their eyes and just smile awkwardly as he was still embarrassed earlier.

 

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to–” Xiao Zhan said but he was cut off by Yibo.

 

“Seems like Zhan-ge really wants to see me in action” Yibo said sarcastically and brushed his shoulder past Zhan followed by Cheng Xiao.

 

“You know what Wang Yibo, you are childish, how can you impress him if you are like that.” Cheng said Yibo just ignored her and continued walking.

 

After that night, the shooting has ended, and everyone is preparing to go home. They each bid farewell to each other and Yibo is still ignoring Zhan. He just talked to Lele and said what he wanted to do later.
