Chapter 26

 

After an exhausting day Xiao Zhan went home with the XNine members and before leaving their unit, he reminded them of their schedule. After a long discussion with them, Zhiguang approached him and told him that he would not say anything about it and reminded Xiao Zhan that he might not be the only one who noticed it so he should be careful.

 

Zhiguang also mentioned that he talked to Yibo earlier and he didn’t deny that he is really dating someone, although he looked stunned when he asked him about it. This statement made Xiao Zhan more guilty; he was aware of Yibo’s advances but didn’t have a heart of pushing him away but instead he enjoyed every second of it.

 

 

That night Xiao Zhan decided to stop him if ever Yibo will do it again, he knew that Yibo just using this as a punishment as an excuse, he knew it, but it is wrong, especially when Yibo is seeing someone. Xiao Zhan bids farewell to the Xnine members and went back to his unit across the idols’ room. After entering the room, he was enclosed in a tight back hug of someone, he knew that it was the younger artist.

 

“Yibo? Why are you here? I thought you have a schedule in another city?”

 

“They moved it tomorrow, so I still have spare time. I’ll sleep here,” Yibo explained.

 

“Ah, is that so, but you should still use your room, your bed is more comfortable than mine,” Xiao Zhan said as he breaks the hug. He’s not even looking at Yibo and just dropped of his thing, but suddenly he was pulled out outside his unit by Wang Yibo.

 

“Then let’s go to my unit,” Yibo said.

 

As they enter Yibo’s unit, he starts kissing Xiao Zhan, at first it was a gently peck but it deepens as time goes by. Yibo kissed him from his lips down to his neck as if it was the most delicious thing that he was eating that night, he clenched his hands on the older man’s waist to avoid wandering it to another places. Believe it or not he is still trying to restrain himself every time they kiss.

 

“Yibo, uh, hmm, stop, wait, haa,” Xiao Zhan said as he whimpers due to Yibo’s action. He’s lying if he said that he is not feeling anything, of course he did. It was getting more intimate as time went by.

 

“Why Zhan-ge? Does it feel good?” Yibo said between kissing on Xiao Zhan’s neck.

 

“Uhm, we should – hah, we should stop doing this,” Xiao Zhan struggles to say those words, he clenched on Yibo’s shirt to not to give in.

 

“Why? This is your punishment though?”

 

“I will haah, accept any punishment, this is not good, you should do this to your partner,” Xiao Zhan said as he tried to push Yibo.

 

“Oh ho, that idol guy, said something to you right?” Yibo said as he continued kissing him from Xiao Zhan’s neck down to his collar bone.

 

“STOP!” Xiao Zhan screams, and this made Yibo stop what he was doing. Yibo mentally cursed Zhiguang for getting into his business. But at the same time, he is enjoying Xiao Zhan’s reaction, which is bad; he really has a tendency for it.

 

“Zhiguang is just worried about me, but he is right, this is so wrong Wang Yibo, I’ll do something instead, I will cook dinner for you instead, okay?” Xiao Zhan said, but Yibo just looks at him without saying anything.

 

“I’m happy that you are taking things seriously with your current partner and I will fully support you for that. I know you are more knowledgeable with it comes to experience but please I, I don’t want to do this anymore, this is so wrong,” Xiao Zhan explained.

 

“Does it feel good Zhan-ge?”

 

“Huh? “Uhm,” Xiao Zhan just cannot say the fact. He enjoyed every second of it, it is addicting but it’s wrong. Thus, he answered, “no, it’s not good,”

 

“Wrong answer Zhan-ge,” Yibo said and pulls Xiao Zhan into his living room and checks the time and opens tv. Xiao Zhan was confused by what’s happening, did Yibo accept his reason?

 

The dating variety show pop up onto the screen and Xiao Zhan thought that Yibo might want to watch it since it was hosted by Han-ge. Yibo on the other hand just watched the show with a beer on his hands and give one to Xiao Zhan, he knows that the older man is not good with alcohol, but he thought he might need it after watching this certain episode.

 

The two watches in silence on the sofa; Xiao Zhan feels awkward by this silent atmosphere, so he just focuses on the show. This episode focuses on exclusive dates of the participant but after that Han-ge announces a special exclusive date of the winner.

 

There he watched Yibo going on a date with one of the participants on the show, the restaurant is so familiar to him. A sudden realization comes into his mind and mumbles, “goodness.” His face flushed with embarrassment and chugs down the beer on his hands.

 

“Pft,” Yibo tries to conceal his laughter as he was so amused by the transition of reaction of his Zhan-ge. He is more entertaining than the show.

 

“Ya! What are you laughing at! Why did not you tell me!”  Xiao Zhan screams at Yibo and thought that Yibo has a chance to clear up a misunderstanding since earlier and decided to wait for this episode instead.

 

“Are you jealous Zhan-ge? That I had a date with someone? The same day that you didn’t inform me where you went and turns out you are in the same restaurant?” Yibo smirks triumphantly.

 

“I’m not!” Xiao Zhan said with a flushed face but for some reason something was lifted on his heart. While Yibo on the other hand pushed Xian Zhan into the couch and positioned himself on top of him, caging the older man beneath.

 

“So, are we going to continue your punishment?” Yibo smugly said.

 

“No, no, I told you, I will just cook for you instead.” Xiao Zhan said as he struggles beneath.

 

“What a shame, as much as I love your food Zhan-ge but I will not be satisfied with it,” Yibo said and started kissing his neck, he’s having fun leaving marks on the older man’s neck.

 

“Yibo, stop it,” Xiao Zhan said and thankfully Yibo also stop on what he is doing, he wanted to respect Xiao Zhan’s decision and consent, he doesn’t want to scare him.

 

“What Zhan-ge?” Yibo asked.

 

“Please stop this, we are not into that kind of relationship to do this, I know you have plenty of experience, but I want to do this with my future partner,” Xiao Zhan said. He wanted to be honest with Yibo this time.

 

Yibo frowned by the statement, thinking that Xiao Zhan is doing this to another man put him in a bad mood. That future partner should be him and no one else.

 

“Then let’s date Zhan-ge,” Yibo suggested.

 

“Huh?” Xiao Zhan was perplexed by the sudden suggestion of the man above him.

 

“You said to Haikuan-ge that you wanted to try dating right? Here is your chance, besides, I am not a bad choice, right?” Yibo added and lean onto Xiao Zhan’s ear and whispers, “Besides, our lips and personalities are compatible Zhan-ge, don’t you think?”

 

Xiao Zhan was stunned and flushed by Wang Yibo, the younger man is not wrong though, but he does not know, but Xiao Zhan thought that he only treats Yibo as his friend and adorable younger brother. That is why he felt so guilty by those kisses that he received and enjoyed.

 

“But we do not like each other that way Yibo,” Xiao Zhan said.

 

“I like you Zhan-ge,” Yibo said while looking straight into his eyes.

 

“Huh?”

 

“I like you.”

 

Xiao Zhan cannot think of anything, he is frozen like frozen meat on the supermarket, while his brain is overloaded by the sudden confession that he received. He doesn’t know what to say, he knew that Yibo do not have any experience in a long term relationship so he might just want him for his past time or maybe he is just confused.

 

“You are just confused Yibo, maybe you just want me back as your manager,” Xiao Zhan said.

 

“No Zhan-ge, I’m not naïve like someone beneath me, I know what I feel,” Yibo explained.

 

“Or maybe you just miss going out in club and bored and —-”

 

Yibo cut him off with a kiss and said, “I’m not the confused one Zhan-ge, it’s you. I will give you time, you should answer me once I get back. For now, let us sleep.” Yibo carried him to his room and tucked him on the bed.

 

 

“Goodnight Zhan-ge,” Yibo said as he kissed Xiao Zhan forehead,

 

“Eh?” Xiao Zhan only said and still processing what happened, due to exhausting and sudden confession, his mind is in utter chaos.

 

While Yibo on the other hand falls asleep soundly while hugging Xiao Zhan and with a smile on his lips.
