The guest will be staying at the contestants’ house for two days and one night, Yibo has been preparing this for the past few days and even his brother, the CEO of Yue Hua, cannot do anything about his decision. Technically, they moved his schedule to give way to this show.

 

After the introduction of the of the four artists, since they are the only available based on the schedule, the contestants also prepares food to welcome them. Most of them are kind of giddy since Wang Yibo is around and tried their best to wear their best clothes even if they are inside the house, although most of them are a bit hesitant in approaching him, Xiao Zhan encourages them to talk to Yibo and as he always says it may not look like it, but Yibo is a good kid.

 

“Wow, Zhan-ge, I didn’t expect that I will see Wang Yibo with a wide smile on his face except for his smirk,” One of the contestants said as they observe how Xiao Zhan talks to Yibo and how Yibo happily accommodates Xiao Zhan.

 

“I told you, he’s not cold, he just needs some time,” Xiao Zhan said while smiling.

 

“Zhanzhan, you look like a mother, introducing his son to his school friends hahahaha,” Johnny said as he put his arm around Xiao Zhan’s shoulder, this goes unnoticed by Yibo.

 

“What are you guys talking about?” Yibo said while smiling to the contestant, while discreetly pulling Xiao Zhan to his side.

 

“Ah Zhan-ge, you have dirt on your shoulder, let me wipe it for you,” Yibo added while he deliberately wipes Xiao Zhan’s clothes in front of Johnny Huang.

 

“Waah Mr. Wang! I am a big fan of yours!” One of the contestants said.

 

“Thank you,” Yibo said as he gives his business smile to them, since there’s a lot of cameras, he cannot afford to ruin again his good boy image that he’s building to get back his former manager, of course with sincerity.

 

“But you are so busy, what makes you join this show?”

 

“Well, since my managers are here and neither of them doesn’t have any experience in dating, I am here to support them, and of course the show invited me as a guest as well,” Yibo answered.

 

Lies, of course half of it was a lie. He already informed Han-ge that he is willing to join the show for some days so they can do what he has suggested. Thankfully, he has a traffic, and no producers will say no to such a good proposal with free exposure of Wang Yibo for how many episodes that they have expected.

 

After they ate, they went outside the house, the location of their house is sea front as well but with built in pool. But since they need a wider space for the game, they ended up playing on the beach and outside the house.

 

Since this is just a special appearance, they already ask those who wanted to join the trial date, since the contestants have preference as well. As expected, half of them joined the game and the others will be watching the game. Peixin and Fanxing didn’t join since they basically don’t need it and knew why the devil, as they called him, is currently staying in this house.

 

Those who join the game will have the chance to choose which artist they are going to have a date with. While the artist will have a separate game and they can choose someone they can treat after two days and one night of staying on the house, but of course they must be within those participants as well since they need to consider the participants preference as well.

 

After making sure that the rules are cleared, Han-geng mentioned what are the games, for contestants they will have a team volleyball, if their team wins the set, they will move to the next round and be divided to form new group until they will have a one-on-one battle. Of course, to encourage them to play, they also prepare some gift checks that they can use.

 

Before this, Yibo talked to Xiao Zhan that he should join the game since there are tons of prizes, but Xiao Zhan was hesitant to join since he thought that this trial date is much more needed by the other contestants.

 

“But Zhan-ge, if you will not join, then what’s my purpose of joining this show?” Yibo said while showing his sad face.

 

“What about Peixin, you mentioned that you’ll support your manager right?” Xiao Zhan said.

 

“He will not join Zhan-ge, uhm he said that it might makes us uncomfortable if in case we won besides I only need to support him here, not really going a a date with him, that’s weird even for me.”

 

“Then it is not weird if I win?” Xiao Zhan asked.

 

“Of course not, we have been together Zhan-ge for three years, besides you know I hate uncomfortable meetings like that if in case, you know how competitive I am so I might win,” Yibo added while looking down.

 

“Wow, Wang Yibo, you really hahh.”  Xiao sighed in resignation.

 

“Please Zhan-ge, I want to help Han-ge as well on this show, and would it feel safe if you have a trial date with me than a stranger? Although we have been doing more than that —-”

 

“Hey hey hey, Wang Yibo stop what you are saying, someone might hear you and misunderstand what you’re saying hahaha,” Xiao Zhan said as he cuts off Yibo. He understands what Yibo is trying to say, even though Yibo frequently visited the club in the past, there is no doubt that both are introverts.

 

“So, are you going to join? Besides there are gift checks as well if you win, I know how thrift you are,” Yibo asked as he held his hands.

 

“Yes, yes as you wish,” Xiao Zhan said as he pats Yibo’s head.

 

Going back on the game, each contestant has been eliminated from the game; Xiao Zhan is not a sporty person, but he is not bad at it either. He knows the basics so he can play the game.

 

After they had their break due to continuous playing, the semi-finals have been decided. Technically there’s only four contestants left, and Xiao Zhan has been paired to his colleague Mian Mian.

 

Even though they only knew the basic, the game was intense for them, additionally it is exhausting to play in the sand, and it consumes a lot of stamina as well, thankfully Mianmian is an athletic girl and that’s more the reason why Xiao Zhan became competitive, with gift certificates as his motivation.

 

They have a good rally and don’t even let the ball touch the ground, but the other team has good stamina as well, they try to catch the ball even if it’s too deep to the point of sliding into the sand. Thankfully it is sand, they had been passing the ball for a long rally and the other team always tried to spike the ball towards the side.

 

But Xiao Zhan does not want to let their effort wasted and for the sake of another gift certificates, he tried to receive the ball on the side but unfortunately for him he didn’t notice the referee’s metal chair behind him as he tries to catch the ball. He’s in the zone and so focus on receiving the ball and didn’t even mind that the spectators are shouting already at him to look out for the chair, but maybe because of the exhaustion and trying so hard to win the game, he was able to received the ball but unfortunately, he went directly into the referee’s chair and badly hurt his scapula or back shoulder.

 

Yibo quickly runs towards him as well as the other contestants and producers ask for the medic to check up on him, Xiao Zhan almost lost his consciousness by the shocked that he received bumping the metal chair. Still, he smiled and reassured them that he was alright.

 

“Aiyoo, guys, I’m alright, just minor scratches, “Xiao Zhan said as he winced in pain on his shoulder.

 

“What are you saying Zhan-ge! You are clearly hurt! That’s not minor!” Yibo said as if he is already losing his composure.

 

This is not the first time that Xiao Zhan has been into an accident, he had a major accident when he was young but he has no recollection of what happened, even his parents do not know what happened to him but aside from the pain on his back shoulder Xiao Zhan was stunned by the reaction on Yibo’s face, he looks sad, nostalgic and it makes his heart ache by seeing Yibo’s with worried face.

 

“Don’t worry I am really fine,” Xiao zhan said as he reassured Yibo who is on the verge of crying and put his hand on Yibo’s worried face.

 

Wang Yibo has been wanting to pull out Xiao Zhan from this show, but this is not how he wanted to do it, he just wanted to give him all the best and to prevent him from getting hurt. After the medic provided first aid, the ambulance arrived and transferred him to the hospital together with Yibo.

 

Han-ge understood why Yibo asked him to cover them as the kid was already on verge of crying and wanted to assist his former manager as soon as possible. So, he reassured him as well that he will cover everything and will just talk after.
