“Xiao Zhan wait, hold on!” the emperor hugs tightly the half-awake man in his embrace to restrict his move and to suppress his desire.

“But I really missed this smell, this is a dream, right? There’s no way that you are here, Yibo,” the emperor flinched with the sudden realization, he forgot to cast a spell upon hearing the sudden thud earlier, thankfully that the other man thought that he is dreaming, it’s been so long since he is taking suppressant, so the urges to jump on the omega in heat in front of him greatly affects his rut as well.

But he is not in the right mind to do it, he wanted to do it with his consent, he may miss his smell, body and touch but it doesn’t mean that he will jump into him right away, he wanted to eat him but he wanted to treasure him so he decided to take the suppressant for himself and bite the omega on his neck to inject his pheromones to subsides the omega’s heat and one thing he can no longer resist, that is to kiss the man in front of him, so he grabbed the chance and kiss him until the omega fall asleep.

The morning came and Xiao Zhan woke up with a headache and panic face, he remembered something naughty last night and that might because he keeps hearing the name of his former lover and that man smells like the emperor as well. He heard a sound of someone chopping wood outside his house and noticed that the stranger called himself Yibo was chopping some wood, while some villagers, mostly omegas, were watching him.

The reason is that the said man was only w4aring one layer of clothe and some of his muscles are peeking, Xiao Zhan realized that this man is a little bit bigger in built compared to the emperor and Yibo, but the color of their nipples is the same, but a sudden embarrassment comes into his mind when he realizes that he is comparing someone’s nipple’s color.

“Ey shifu, why are you blushing?!” one of the villagers asked.

“Don’t tell me shifu that you like what you are seeing as well, fufufuf,” others teased him.

“You are peeking as well, shifu, and here we thought you are already immune to handsome men because of mister Talu,” they continued to tease him.

“No! No it’s not like that aiyoo!” Xiao Zhan defended himself and was shocked when they heard some of the villager’s squeal and stunned by the stranger’s action, he deliberately removes his top and shows off his body and moves to Xiao Zhan’s way.

“I’m glad you like my body,” the emperor said and touched Xiao Zhan’s face.

“Kyah!” Some of the villagers’ squeals like teenagers with adoration. The emperor realized that the husband thing might just a cover of Xiao Zhan and Youwen to shoo Xiao Zhan’s suitor, because who wouldn’t notice him, he so loveable, he even wanted to keep him to himself. Also, because of Youwen’s hesitation to answer last night, and the fact that he left them and the reaction of the villagers, they might just tease him during that time they mentioned that Talu is Xiao Zhan’s husband.

“What are you doing!” Xiao Zhan said as he backs off and fans himself, despite of the cold weather, his face is getting hot, so some of the villagers teased him, and with that they have a lively morning.

Xiao Zhan received a letter from Talu that they will be staying their stay in another village, and he thought that maybe it is a good thing since he doesn’t want to explain to his friend who this person and they will surely reprimand him again. He also gives the man some manual work in the restaurant, and most of single omega has been visiting them lately, but as usual the stranger won’t talk unless there is their shifu or something about him.

After work, Xiao Zhan told the stranger to go ahead first and for first time he didn’t insist on waiting for him, the reason is he will have his nice time bathing in the secret spring on the village, he heard from the villager that it is good for cultivators but it is just plain cold water pond to those who are not cultivators, the villagers didn’t know that they are cultivators.

Upon dipping on the spring, he sighed deeply like an old man, he even brought some alcohol while dipping and enjoying his stay. It was in the middle of the forest so no one would dare to come here at night. He enjoys the soothing pond alone, he usually enjoys it with Wen Ning and Youwen, but now he is alone, it is not bad to have a me time, he thought. Due to the steam from the spring, he didn’t even notice that someone was approaching him, not until he opened his eyes and felt a hand on his chin.

“Wahh! Why are you here?!” Xiao Zhan asked.

“To bathe,” the stranger said.

“Aren’t you cold?” Xiao Zhan asked since he thought that he may not be a cultivator.

“Why would I? This is a hot spring,” Xiao Zhan backs off with the sudden answer of the stranger called Yibo, and tried to reach his clothes and Chenqing, but unfortunately it was on the other side of the spring since he moves location for better and clear water, but there’s no time to be embarrassed, he is still not sure who is this person in front of him, so he decided to go out of the water and the stranger grabbed his wrist and pinned him down.

“Don’t move you, don’t have your clothes with you, someone might see you,” the emperor said because he knew that Xue Yang is guarding him from the distance, it was also him who suggested this place so he could recuperate his cultivation, but they didn’t know that the hot spring will only works for cultivators. So, when the emperor saw the empress hurriedly left the spring, he immediately pinned him down to covers his body from the eagle-eyed Xue Yang, it is better to be safe. But Xiao Zhan thought differently and thought that he might be in danger, so he immediately grabbed the sharp hairpin that binds his hair and pointed it to the stranger’s neck.

“Who are you! You are not a civilian, this pond will only work as hot spring for cultivators and just a cold plain pond to civilian, so tell me who are you?!” Xiao Zhan threatening said.

The emperor thought that might be the reason why he asked earlier if he is not feeling cold, but instead of being threatened by the person under him, he is more of aroused and thought that the person under him looks cute when he is angry, so he gently taps Xiao Zhan’s hand to sign that he is not a dangerous person and won’t harm him, but since Xiao Zhan is suspicious of him he wouldn’t budge to lower his only weapon.

“If I tell you who I am, would you promise not to run away?” the emperor asked.

“Eh?” Xiao Zhan simply reacts; he already has an idea who he is be he just kept on denying it and the stranger also no sign of cultivation.

“I came for you, My Empress?” The emperor said as he gently kissed the hand of the man under him as his face turns back to his original face.

“Lan Zhan”

The two dressed first to formally talk, the emperor explained why he was disguising himself, and it only a few who knew that he could do that, and he only learned for the past year so he can still walk in public, since the civilian knew what he looked like. Xiao Zhan also asked why he was buried in snow; it turns out that when he was outside the palace, he heard his name from one of the villagers that was selling his work.

So he hurriedly travel to this village as fast as he can with only his horse and sword, usually with heavy snow, it will take a person to travel three days, but since he was on rush he travelled nonstop and decided to left his horse in the village nearby since the horse can no longer continue due to the snow and the path, so he decided to walk in the mountain as a shortcut. But due to his condition and bad weather his body gave up when he reached the village, but he didn’t expect that the first house he saw was the house where the person he was eagerly looking for stayed.

“But how did you know that I am Xiao Zhan, I never told you that name if I am not mistaken, and why are you using Yibo!”

“Does it matter? I really missed you,” the emperor gently said and gently kissed the hand of his beloved person and said, “Please do not run away from me, I’ll treasure you every day, you promised, every day is every day.”
