HIME – Chapter 6

Wang Yibo was marching toward the swimming pool area being all furious. He just got the news that his uncle isn’t ready to rusticate Yuchen and his gang, he declined his son’s and yibo’s request as there wasn’t enough proof against them. Haoxuan suggested to ask Zhan to give testimony against them but Yibo wasn’t ready to involve Zhan as he already suffered enough because of his crazy stalker – fei. He decided to handel the situation by his own..

As soon as he entered he saw a large blue colour swimming pool and he could smell the chlorine from it. He moved his eyes all around the area to know where that yuchen is. He isn’t familiar with the swimming pool area as he never come here like everyone else.

After that accident, he never found enough courage to go near swimming pool or lakes. He dropped his idea of learning swimming at the age of 12. He felt his heart beat increased just by seeing that pool. He took deep breath and saw that Yuchen was standing near the swimming pool, almost ready to dive in.

Yibo took long strides toward him and  grabbed him by his swim suit and turned him around to face Yibo. Before Yuchen could see who dared to grab him like that, Yibo punched him hard on his face making his face turned toward left side.

Everyone who was present there got shocked and gasped after witnessing that scene.  Yubin was present there too, he immediately ran outside to call Zhan as he guessed why yibo punched him.

On the other hand, Yuchen turned back his face toward Yibo to give him death glare. He was looking mad as hell but less than Yibo. Yibo was burning with rage, as everyone knows that Yuchen was the one who locked Zhan inside the store room but no one is taking any action against him because there isn’t any valid proof and he has rich dad. Yuchen was the one who made Zhan suffered so much but Yibo couldn’t even bring justice to Zhan and this thing was eating him alive.

Yuchen : What the f*ck!!?? Do you wanna d—

A hard punched landed on his face again making him look on the ground.
He scoffed in disbelief that someone would have the audacity to punch him 2 times in front of everyone.

Yibo : How.dare.you!?

He said with his gritted teeth while remembering the condition of Zhan when he was lying on the floor unconscious and his scared, as well as pleading voice. All these things were forcing Yibo to rip him apart. Yuchen looked at him and asked.

Yuchen : What the hell are you talking about!?

Somewhere yuchen knows what yibo mean but still he pretended like he was innocent. Yibo clenched his jaw and grabbed his neck making everyone shocked even more.

Yibo: Shall I choke you until you roll your eyes and run your brains over what you did yesterday?

As he said that he started choking him seriously.  After seeing Yibo’s serious face Yuchen furrowed his eyebrows and and got scared for him, he tried to remove Yibo’s hand but no avail.  He was getting out of breath and started tapping his hands to release him but Yibo wasn’t ready to leave him.

But then Yibo felt someone’s Hands on his strong grip and heard that melodious voice.

Zhan : Yibo… Let him go.!! He will die like this.. !!

Zhan raised his voice to say it as seriously as possible but for Yibo, his voice is like a sweet honey syrup that always give tingling sensation in his ears whenever Zhan calls his name. His grip started losing on Yuchen as soon he heard Zhan..

Zhan removed his hand from Yibo’s wrist and sighed in relief like everyone.  Yubin felt satisfied with his action as he decided to call zhan here.

Yuchen jerked yibo’s hand away and yelled on his face..

Yuchen : DO YOU F*CKING KNOW WHO AM I!??

Yibo wasn’t in a mood of replying him as it was the last the thing he wants to do. But Zhan made irritated face after listening his high pitch voice and replied.

Zhan : Don’t tell me you lost your memory just by witnessing Yibo’s anger. Okay let me tell you, You are wuchen or maybe Yuchen yeah something like that. Didn’t i tell you to stay away from Yibo and you are lucky that he wasn’t giving you any attention.?  Now, Are you happy to have his attention?

He asked with his slight smirk as Zhan was kind of happy to see Yuchen in that condition.  Yuchen felt so much embarrassed as everyone around them started laughing after listening Zhan, he was going to punch Zhan but Yibo immediately catched his wrist and turned it around to give Yuchen immense pain and he shouted in pain.

Yibo : Don’t you dare touch him.

He said in his usual deep cold voice. Zhan widened his eyes in surprise and shocked when he heard that. He felt something strange when he heard Yibo’s voice.  But he rolled his eyes in annoyance when he heard him again.

Yibo : Only i can ruin his pretty face.

Zhan shook his head in disbelief and Yibo left yuchen’s wrist who was dying from pain. Yuchen never felt that much humiliation in his whole life. He pointed his finger toward them and shouted..

Yuchen : You are messing up with the wrong person i will make you regret.  I promise.  I can fcking control the whole world, then who the Fck are you. .?

Yibo scoffed sarcastically and took one step ahead toward to face him properly and said with his smirk.

Yibo : Control your sister first who is always ready to throw herself on me.

Yuchen’s body burned with anger. He clenched his jaw and said..

Yuchen : Say that again..

Yibo looked away from him and released a little chortle to irritate him more.

Yuchen : I DARE YOU SAY THAT AGAIN.!!

He yelled at him while pushing Yibo away in anger which made Yibo fall into the swimming pool instantly. After entering into it he realised how deep that pool is. Zhan widened his eyes and shouted his name as he knows he doesn’t know how to swim. Yibo was kept on drowning, all his past accident’s memories was flashing in front of his eyes but then he saw a familiar face in that lonely pool.

He smiled for the last time before closing his eyes.

On the other hand Zhan dive into the water to save Yibo and grabbed his wrist and started swimming toward the upward. He brought him out of the pool and saw him unconscious. He started tapping his face to wake him up.

Zhan : Yibo .. Yibo .. F*cking wake up damn it!!

He begin to push his chest again and again.  Zhan was scared as hell, again he was blaming himself.  His eyes was becoming teary and his chest was feeling unbearable pain as he was watching Yibo in that condition.  He saw water was coming out of Yibo’s mouth and he stopped to close yibo’s nostrils with pointed finger and thumb. Without thinking twice he move toward his lips to give mouth to mouth respiration but at the exact moment Yibo’s coughed and Zhan sighed in relief and immediately collapsed beside him while whining.

Zhan : Aaiya … Yibo you scared the hell out of me.!

Yibo coughed and found him alive. He looked around and saw everyone was standing around Him. He looked at his right side and saw Zhan was breathing heavily with his hand on his chest and  eyes were closed. He was all wet. Yibo widened his eyes when he realized who took him out of the water.

After calming down zhan turned his face toward Yibo who was already looking at zhan with his shocked expression.

Zhan : Are you okay??

He asked yibo to know if he is feeling okay or not. Everyone was looking at them and whispering something to each other while eying them lying beside each other.

Yibo : Umm..

Zhan got up from his place and help yibo to do the same he looked at Yubin and asked him.

Zhan : Can you bring him to the dorm ? I need to talk with someone.

He said the last sentence while giving death glare to Yuchen who was feeling all nervous. Yubin nodded and Yibo grabbed Zhan’s wrist and shook his head. But Zhan removed his grip and said with so much seriousness.

Zhan : I’ll be back in a minute.

Yubin supported Yibo and started dragging him outside as yibo wasn’t willing to leave Zhan there alone.
After making sure that Yibo is left Zhan turned his face toward Yuchen.

Zhan : You are really in a serous trouble. I wasn’t going to do anything because you just locked me there but this time, i won’t leave you. Do you know why?

He said with his furious expressions Making Yuchen and everyone shocked as no one saw him like that. It was their first time to witness such type of expressions of Zhan. He grabbed his collar and whispered.

Zhan : You hurt him. Count your days,  i don’t give a f*ck who are you or who is your father.. Because no one in this world can stop Zhan when he decided to something. From todays onwards i will make your life hell and this is my promise to you.

He smirked a little before leaving him and left from there.

When Xiao Zhan entered in his dorm he saw Wang Yibo already changed his clothes and sitting on his bed while looking down like he was thinking something very deep. Zhan closed the door and cleared his throat to announce his arrival.

Yibo turned his head and saw Zhan  closing the door. Zhan was all wet, his clothes and  hair were all drenched with water.

Zhan : Where is Yubin?!

He asked to lessen the awkwardness between them as Yibo was looking at him with some kind of expressions that Zhan couldn’t recognise.

Yibo :  In a Bathroom.

Zhan just nodded and went toward his cupboard took out some clothes to change. Yibo’s eyes following Zhan’s moment all the time but he widened  his eyes in shock when he saw Zhan grabbed the hem of his t-shirt to took that off.

Yibo : Zhan, What are you doing !!??

He asked as he started feeling uneasy to see zhan naked in front of him. Zhan stopped for a second and turned around to face Yibo. He furrowed his eyebrows in and replied.

Zhan : Changing my clothes. I’m all wet.

Yibo gulped.. Zhan replied without much thought and totally being careless.

Yibo : But Why here? I’m here too.

Yibo replied with much difficulties as his throat becoming dry. He gulped hard while looking at Zhan. Somewhere in his heart he wants to see him but he is afraid of his own desire.

Zhan : So, What!? You are a man too. Yubin is in a bathroom. Where shall I change my clothes?

Zhan replied while looking at Yibo with his confused expression but then he smirked as he decided to tease Yibo a little.

Zhan : I can change even my boxer in front of you as long as you don’t have problem seeing me all naked.

He said and took out his t-shirt while directly facing Yibo. He grabbed his towel and started wiping his upper body. Yibo gulped hard and moved his gaze down on his tempting nipples, Yibo moved his tongue on his own lips as he was so ready to devour those nipples. His was scanning Zhan’s Abs and moved his eyes to his V line. He cursed under his breath while witnessing such type of scene.  He was scrutinizing Zhan’s shape without missing a single inch, and giving more attention to the part he loves so much.

Zhan was noticing it and smirked proudly. He purposely took much time to wipe his body than he usually takes.

Yibo came back in reality when Zhan wore his T-shirt. Yubin opened the door of bathroom and came out of it. Yibo sighed in relief as he knows he wouldn’t able to control himself if he watch him changing his lower clothes.

Zhan : Tsk.. Your bad luck Yibo. You can’t bless your eyes with my body anymore.

He said and winked at him before going inside the bathroom.

Zhan came out and saw Yibo was there alone. He went toward him with usual smile and asked yibo

Zhan : Aren’t you going out with Haoxuan today.  ?

Yibo turned his head toward Zhan and looked at him with his sad eyes.

Yibo : When did you learn swimming. ? Weren’t you afraid of water. ?

Zhan’s smile started vanishing. He doesn’t want to start this conversation as he knows where it would lead, he thought yibo will blame him again and he will lose his hope of being Yibo’s friend again.

Zhan : forget that.. Ah. I remember Yubin called me. I’ll be back soon..

He said and about to move forward but Yibo grabbed his wrist and turned him around in a second. Yibo was serious and wants to know the truth. Zhan sighed in defeat and decided to tell him.

Zhan  : When i was twelve. I’m sure you remember, when you asked me to join that swimming classes with you but I declined that.. But after that accident i joined that classes.

He said the last sentence in his low tone. Zhan was staring at Yibo, who was looking into Zhan’s eyes.

Yibo : Why? You were scared of water.

Yibo asked with confusion and Zhan smiled sadly and looked away from Yibo.

Zhan : It was nothing in compare to the fear i felt when i saw you struggling in a water.  I wanted to help you but i didn’t knew swimming that time. So, i joined that swimming classes. I waited for you but you never came. And while learning swimming, i realised it was just a childish fear. I’m glad i saved you today, maybe now i can feel a little peace inside my heart.

He said with a smile and looked at Yibo who was having little teary eyes. Zhan furrowed and was going to ask him something but Yibo immediately hugged him. Zhan got totally shocked.  He never expected something like this from Yibo. Zhan chortle with his teary eyes and hugged him back. Zhan thought yibo would say ‘Thanks for saving me today.. ‘ but to his surprise he heard him saying ..

Yibo : Don’t you dare change your clothes in front of anyone except me.

Zhan broke the hug and saw yibo’s serious expression. Zhan thought how could he joke with this kind of expression. But tried to laugh but failed.  Yibo smiled a little to witness his nervous expression.

Zhan was walking beside the Yubin and listening all the information about Yuchen that Yubin got after his so called ininvestigation.

After talking with Yibo he asked Yubin to find out everything about Yuchen what he eat where he goes what he does where he lives etc.

Zhan wasn’t planning anything serious but he just wants to annoy Yuchen. Yubin was telling him everything he knows and zhan nodded while recording everything.

Zhan : Anything else?

Zhan asked and yubin thought for a second and said after remembering something.

Yubin : Yeah.. He is crazy for a celebrity and she follows him too in social media maybe they are friend.

Zhan : What is her name?

Zhan asked furrowing and Yubin replied…

Yubin : Jiang Yan li.

Zhan widened his eyes in shocked and asked again..

Zhan:  Are you sure she is Jiang Yan Li.?

Yubin : Yeah she is famous. I know her too.

Zhan smirked evilly and said under his breath.

Zhan : Then… Lets start from here.

Next morning

Zhan was so happy that finally yibo forgive him. He cheerfully sat on the seat in a bus. Yang Zi sat beside him and he smiled at her happily.

Yang Zi : You are looking so excited and happy for this college trip.

She asked while looking at Zhan who was smiling at her. Zhan nodded little as he didn’t want to tell her the real reason.

Haoxuan entered in a bus and saw Yan Zi was sitting beside Zhan. He went toward them with his evil smile and said to Yang Zi

Haoxuan : Oh you are here.. Ziyi is looking for you. I think it is something important.

Yang Zi : Really,? Zhan I’ll be right back.

Zhan nodded and Yang Zi went out of the bus. Haoxuan sat behind Zhan’s seat and messaged Yibo. Within a single minute he saw Yibo was entering in a bus and walking toward Zhan’s seat.  He widened his eyes when Yibo stopped in front of his seat and sat beside him.
He brought a bag with him and placed on Zhan’s lap. Zhan looked at it with his confused expression and asked

Zhan : What is this.?

Yibo turned his head toward Zhan and said with his expressionless face.

Yibo : Snacks ..

Zhan rolled his eyes and replied

Zhan : i can see that but why are you giving me?

Yibo furrowed a little..

Yibo : I’m not giving you..  I’m placing it there.

Zhan was going to say something but he heard Yang Zi’s voice.

Yang Zi : Haoxuan.! Why the hell you lied to me?

Zhan noticed YangZi was walking toward Haoxuan’s seat but her eyes stopped at Yibo.

Haoxuan : It was a prank.

Yang Zi rolled her eyes in annoyance and asked yibo.

Yang Zi : Why are you sitting here. ?

Yibo glared at Yang Zi and replied. Zhan was just looking at them .

Yibo : because i wanted to.

She huffed and kept her both hands on her waist while rolling her eyes.

Yang Zi : But it is my seat.

Yibo scoffed at her and replied with his little smirk.

Yibo : It was mine from the beginning.

Yang Zi furrowed and she was getting irritated with Yibo’s attitude. Yibo turned his face away from her sight, totally ignoring her presence.

Yangzi sighed and looked at Zhan who was looking at them helplessly.

YangZi : Lets sit somewhere else. I wanna sit with you.

Zhan moved his eyes on her and nodded a little with his cute pout. He’s about to stand up but yibo grabbed Zhan’s left arm while glaring at him.

Yibo : I dare you change your seat. I won’t hesitate to kick you out of this bus.

Zhan furrowed and asked while being irritated..

Zhan : What the hell you want. You don’t want exchange your seat with Yang Zi. But its fine if you want to sit here then sit. It is the first time when I’m giving up something for you, then what’s the problem ?! You want her to stay here and fight with you for seat?

Zhan wasn’t liking that yibo was behaving like this YangZi. He didn’t know why but he wasn’t liking it.

Yibo : You are not going to change your seat and that’s final. Let her sit somewhere else.

Yang Zi : Are you–

Haoxuan : Guys guys .. Stop fighting like kids.. YangZi you can sit beside me. We are going to start game. Please..

Yang Zi huffed in annoyance and sat in front of Zhan’s seat where Yubin was sitting.

Haoxuan : Guys pay attention over here.. So in this bowl we have so many colours of chit, each colour have two chits. We will let you pick up one chit and those who will have the same colour, they will be roommates and team who will do all the task together in a whole trip. Are you ready guys?!!

He shouted while asking them and everyone started hooting as they all were excited.

Haoxuan : So, I’m gonna start from boys. After deciding their rooms Ziyi will distribute the chits to girls.

He started distributing chits, Zhan and Yibo was sitting on the last row so when Haoxuan reached their there was only two chits left. Yibo carelessly picked one chit and Zhan hissed in nervousness and picked the last one.

Zhan opened his chit and saw Red colour.  He sighed and looked at Yibo who was totally calm. Zhan never saw him opening his chit.

Haoxuan : Okay guys now i’m gonna call the name of colours and if its your colour then just raise your hand, I will write down your name. Okay White.. Blue..  Orange…  Green..

He was calling all the colours and students were raising their hands. Zhan was excited as well as nervous to know who would be his roommate.

Haoxuan : Red..

Zhan raised his hand but saw no one in the bus raised hand, he furrowed and looked around but immediately widened his eyes when he saw Yibo’s hand was up too.

Zhan : You!??…

Everyone was looking at them while haoxuan was smirking alone.  Yubin chuckled a little and said

Yubin : I told you.. You guys are destined to be together..
