“Wang Yibo”

Everyone knows him, he’s one of the best celebrities in today’s entertainment industry. He’s an all-rounder, an idol, actor, product endorser, model, racer, skateboarder, and magician as well. He has a lot of hobbies and can do everything once he put his mind on it, except for cooking, yes, this self-declared handsome man can’t even cook himself a proper meal. He always brings disaster to the kitchen, not just in a kitchen. He has a lot of scandals as well with different person, with a man but mostly girls. But he’s still famous despite being a Casanova.

 

He may seem cold, but he likes to fling with different people as he hates commitments. He’s only committed to his job and hobbies, well he’s good at these who can blame him. Even in our agency he’s one of the big distributors and almost 60% of the company’s income came from his projects. The good thing about him is he is serious about his work, and he always gives his 101%.

 

The bad thing is, I, Xiao Zhan, 28 years old, is the manager of this chaotic 23 years old actor. We’ve been working together now for almost 3 years as I left my job as a graphic designer and photographer and shifted my career as a manager. The pay is so good, but still, I love to draw during my free time as well. Although this job is so stressful because of this guy, I get a lot of perks while working with him.

 

They give me my own unit, even though it is just beside Yibo’s room since I came from Chongqing, but most of the time I spent my time on his unit as I always cook for us. That guy is a disaster when he is in the kitchen, like right now I am cooking some breakfast since that guy probably have hang over, thank goodness that he decided to go home instead of booking another person, it means that would be another scandal.

 

“Zhan-ge, is the foods ready? I can smell it from my room. My head is spinning.” Yibo said who just woke up.

 

“Yes, young master, it’ll be ready in a bit.”

 

“You really love role play, aren’t you Zhan-ge,” Yibo teased while smirking.

 

“What the hell are talking about kiddo, I’m more of a maid than your manager you know?”

 

“I’m not a kiddo and I’m not a young master” Yibo angrily said, as everyone knows he hates being treated like a kid but usually acts like one (unconsciously).

 

“Yeah yeah, the great Wang Yibo. Here’s your food, have some of this soup to cure your hangover,” Zhan offered and he sat in front of Yibo.

 

“As expected, your food is the best Zhan-ge!”

 

“You should really learn how to cook; you’ll need it someday.”

 

“Why? I have you so why do I need to?”

 

“What if your partner can’t cook as well and you hate eating in a resto and delivery foods, are going to call me?!”

 

“Of course, by then you are still my manager, and I don’t have any plans on being in a relationship right now.”

 

“Then you should lessen your flings and one-night stands to lessen your scandals and my work, have mercy on this poor old man.”

 

“Hahaha, I know you adore your Bo-di Zhan-ge and I know I’m your favorite actor you have no choice since you are my manager and you don’t look like 28 years old, how many times do I have to tell you that?”

 

“I’ll take that as a compliment and FYI you are not my favorite celebrity” Zhan sigh and answered in resignation. He’s used to how WYB complimented himself.

“What?! Why not? I should be your priority and no. 1.” Yibo said.

 

“Of course, I like some celeb as well and I know him longer than you, but I’ll keep it a secret.”

 

“Who?!” Yibo asked again, while Zhan just shrug it off and washed his plates.

 

“You should wash your plates, it’s one thing that you can do. You don’t have anything scheduled for today, so it means my day-off as well. Bye!” Zhan said while he was back at his unit.

 

“The heck, who’s that? I’ll just practice and ride my bike, ugh! He really ruined my mood.” Yibo said to himself.

 

During his day off, Xiao Zhan usually meets his friends, Lu-jie and A-Chen. They met when they were in college, and they keep in touch even though they are working in a different field. But today is special, he is going to meet his childhood friend who is an actor as well.

 

At first, he really wanted to be his manager, but he got a higher offer from Yibo’s agency, twice as much and during that time he badly needed the money for his mother’s surgery, so he accepted the contract for 3 years as Yibo’s manager. Of course, they can extend it or transfer him to another actor, but, if possible, he will ask the company to transfer him to another celebrity or ask for an office or admin work instead.

 

It’s not because he hates Yibo or anything like that. In fact, he really respects that kid, he’s hard working despite being a troublesome person. However, he’s getting older as well and needs to find a partner. So, he’s hoping to be transferred to get additional rest day or off. Unlike right now, he’s with Wang Yibo for almost 24/7, even cooking his food.

 

Xiao Zhan and his friend decided to meet in a secret cafe, where you can only get a reservation. Of course, his friend is famous as well, so he doesn’t want to have any scandal with him.

 

“Zhan Zhan!”

 

“Talu! Hi!

 

“How’s my Zhan Zhan? It’s been a long time! We are both om the same industry, but we cannot see each other”

 

“That’s true, I’m okay but it’s just that I wanted to have more rest or something.”

 

“Why, did Wang Yibo overwork you? ”

 

“Well, I have to be with him 24/7 hahaha.”

 

“That sucks, if my agency could only afford their offer to you maybe this is the reason why they offer you a large sum of money hahaha.”

 

“Why does it sound bad? Hahaha but kidding aside I might ask them since my contract with Wang Yibo will expire in a few months.”

 

“Great! and I have great news as well.”

 

“What?” Zhan asked.

 

 

“I’ll move to your agency!” Wang Talu said with a wide smile.
