“Come on, suck it and I’ll answer you.”

Xiao Zhan grinned viciously, revealing his teeth.

“Okay. Come here. I’ll rip off the flesh and chew it slowly.”

“Cheeky asshole.”

The man’s fists and feet flew toward Xiao Zhan as soon as the words were finished.

“Hey, don’t do it.”

The man next to him intervened, but the violence continued. The man continued to kick even when Xiao Zhan’s body which was tied to the chair rolled over on its side.

Xiao Zhan was straightened by the man, who had barely been able to calm himself up. Xiao Zhan, whose face had smashed, spat blood on the ground.

They strapped him to a chair and tied his hands and legs together so tightly that he couldn’t get free.

His brothers must have known about him by now. Xiao Zhan was wondering when Li Bowen would arrive. It’s too late to keep waiting for him.

He tried to conceal his anxiety, but he heard footsteps outside. The two guards’ gazes were drawn there.

His eyes widened as he turned around.

“You’re still going strong after that?”

The owner of the voice was none other than Gu Jiacheng.

He threw a knife into the air and caught it with his free hand as he strode forward with one gouged-out eye and a broken arm wrapped in bandages.

He approached Xiao Zhan and lowered himself to examine his face as the two guards stepped back.

“You look like shit. Didn’t you get hit too easily?”

Xiao Zhan smirked as he scanned his face up and down.

“Brother, aren’t you the one who looks like shit? Can you see ahead?”

Jiacheng aimed the tip of his knife at Xiao Zhan’s right eye. Even the slightest movement of his head would make his eyeballs burst.

He lowered the point of his knife, ran it across Xiao Zhan’s cheek, and aimed it at his neck.

“You want me to kill you in one shot? Or shall I cut you into pieces and send you to your brother?”

When he didn’t answer, his grip tightened on Xiao Zhan’s jaw.

“Answer me. Hmm?”

“Do as you please, you son of a bitch!”

Jiacheng kicked his body with his feet as soon as Xiao Zhan screamed.

He trampled on the fallen Xiao Zhan repeatedly, and as if that wasn’t enough, he stabbed his arm with a knife, which is still not fully healed.

Then do the same for the other arm.

Arghhh. A piercing scream echoed through the empty building.

Tip, tip, tip, blood dripping from his face soaked the floor. Wang Yibo writhed in pain with his hands tied behind his back.

Broken wooden bats littered the ground. The men wielding wooden bats and metal pipes surrounded him, and Chairman Wang sat in the front, indifferently staring at his bloodied son.

“There is an old saying. A bat is the medicine for a mad dog.”

Wang Yibo laughed with a bloody face.

“There’s also another saying. You must die when you are old.”

“Well, well. I see you still don’t understand

the situation.”

Chairman Wang gestured, and one of his subordinates hit Yibo on the back with a wooden bat.

Wang Yibo dropped to his knees. He’s staring at Chairman Wang as if he’s about to rip him apart, but Section Chief Su, who was standing next to him, approached with a piece of paper.

He took a step back after placing a blank piece of paper and a ballpoint pen on the ground. There was nothing written on the white paper.

“Write down as I said.”

“Fuck you. Father.”

“A suicide note.”

Wang Yibo, who was staring at the blank paper, burst into laughter.

After rubbing the inside of his mouth with his tongue, ptui! He then spat it out on the ground. A mixture of saliva and blood splattered on the floor.

“Fuck. If you want to kill me, just kill me.”

“Write it down. I, Wang Yibo, have a worsening mental illness.”

Wang Yibo laughed hysterically, then changed his expression and asked with a stern face.

“Did you notice that?”

Chairman Wang continued talking without hesitation.

“I don’t want to be an inconvenience to those around me anymore, so I’m going to give up everything I have and end my life.”

Wang Yibo laughed and added a word.

“P.s. The culprit is Chairman Wang Shenhai.”

Pak, pak, pak, the wooden bat was slammed into Yibo’s back again and again.

This time, Chairman Wang stood up, as if enraged, and came over to hit him in the face with his cane. The impact on his jaw and face and ringing was heard in his right ear.

Blood gushed from his mouth as his bruised cheeks ripped open.

Wang Yibo raised his head and laughed like a lunatic at Chairman Wang.

Chairman Wang’s eyes sank beneath the black water as he gazed at his demonic son. Despite the fact that Yibo was his child, he was terrified of him and wanted to kill him.

No one should want his position without his permission, and no one should take it without his permission. He couldn’t just let it go, even if it was his own child who broke all of these rules.

“I shouldn’t have given birth to you in the first place. I should have left you alone when your mother said she would take drugs and die.”

Wang Yibo spoke each word clearly.

“You should have done that.”

Just then, Xiao Zhan’s voice was heard from the next room.

A cruel smile spread across Chairman Wang’s face when he saw Yibo’s expression completely change from that of a lunatic. He dragged a blank piece of paper thrown on the ground with the tip of his cane and set it aside.

Wang Yibo’s gaze, which had been fixed on the wall, shifted to Chairman Wang.

“Why. Smile more.”

“I’ll write whatever you want, so don’t touch him.”

Despite the request, his voice was eerily cold.

Chairman Wang didn’t answer, and Wang Yibo couldn’t hold it in and finally exploded.

“Fuck! I said I’ll do whatever you want!”

Chairman Wang was taken aback by his son’s unfamiliar and strange appearance, and an unexplainable sense of malice rose within him.

He was fascinated as to what had caused someone who appeared so calm and relaxed to become impatient and anxious.

“I always kept what you said in my heart.”

“…”

“There are those I trust not to harm me. I call them corpses.”

Wang Yibo’s eyes turned cold. Anger rose to the top of his head. The rope was not loosening no matter how much he moved his hand.

When he heard Xiao Zhan’s scream again, his heart sank.

Chairman Wang was having fun while watching his agitated son. There was no other way as effective as this for disciplining a spoiled son who constantly tries to sit on top of his head.

“Shall we test that word today?”

Chairman Wang gave a separate order to Section Chief Su next to him before Yibo could ask what he meant.

He went outside, and the noisy adjoining room quieted down.

Wang Yibo bit his lower lip and gazed out the window. A relatively high floor. Chairman Wang most likely intended for him to write his suicide note here and then push him down.

The open window gives a view of the blue sky. It was a bright and sunny day.

Before he had time to think about it, Section Chief Su dragged Xiao Zhan.

Wang Yibo’s face contorted when he saw Gu Jiacheng following him.

Gu Jiacheng smiled as he showed the bloody knife, and blood dripped from Xiao Zhan’s arm.

Xiao Zhan was shocked when he saw Wang Yibo covered in blood. His throat tightened as he realized it was all his fault.

If he hadn’t made a confession like that in the morning, if Yibo had finished his work at the company as planned, none of this would have happened.

Chairman Wang’s subordinate brought Xiao Zhan and knelt him down next to Wang Yibo.

After checking Xiao Zhan’s condition, Wang Yibo glared at Chairman Wang. His eyes were full of anger and hatred.

“I’ll do everything you ask, please let go.”

“Who? You or that kid?”

“Xiao Zhan.”

Chairman Wang’s gaze shifted to Xiao Zhan. It would not have gotten this far if this guy had done his job properly a year ago. He wanted to kill him right away out of resentment, but he also wanted to teach his son that life had many bitter lessons.

One of which was the betrayal of someone you trusted and cherished.

Chairman Wang gave the order and one of his subordinates untied Xiao Zhan’s bound arms.

Before Xiao Zhan could understand why, Section Chief Su approached as he pulled an ax from his back, and threw it.

The moment he instinctively tried to grab it, Section Chief Su pulled out a gun and aimed it at Xiao Zhan.

“I didn’t give it to you to play tricks.”

Xiao Zhan took his eyes off the ax and looked at Chairman Wang.

“My son believes in you like a steel.”

“…”

“How about you? Do you trust my son?”

Xiao Zhan turned to face Wang Yibo. However, Yibo avoided making eye contact with Zhan.

Why? Why wouldn’t Yibo look him in the eyes?

Chairman Wang made an unbelievable proposal before Xiao Zhan could even realize what was going on.

“Cut off his right arm, and I’ll let you go.”

Xiao Zhan looked at Wang Yibo in surprise. But, Yibo still stared straight ahead.

Why? Why don’t you look at me?

“Hey, CEO Wang.”

Wang Yibo closed his eyes and pretended not to hear.

Xiao Zhan finally understood his intentions. Fuck. Fuck. He clenched his teeth, turned his head, and glared at Chairman Wang as if he were about to kill him.

It was not out of affection that he does not immediately kill his children. Wang Yibo’s bad habit of slowly playing with his prey seemed to have been passed down from Chairman Wang.

Rather than physical pain, Chairman Wang wanted to give Wang Yibo the pain of being betrayed by someone he trusted and loved.

As soon as Xiao Zhan slowly reached out his hand and grabbed the ax in front of him, the muzzles were all directed at Xiao Zhan.

They were prepared to fire if necessary.

Anyway, he would die either way. Xiao Zhan grabbed the axe handle and stood up from his seat.

Wang Yibo bowed his head in defeat. Xiao Zhan understood why Yibo avoided eye contact.

Yibo was concerned that Xiao Zhan would hesitate and waver. He was afraid that if Xiao Zhan hesitated, they would both be killed.

Sweat broke out in the hand holding the axe.

“Haa. Fuck.”

Chairman Wang was not a patient man.

“Do I need to wait longer?”

Xiao Zhan called Wang Yibo in a quiet voice.

“CEO Wang.”

Wang Yibo remained silent. Xiao Zhan pursed his lips.

“Sorry…”

Wang Yibo’s hardened mouth went up slightly. He remained motionless, his eyes closed as if awaiting execution.

I’m really sorry. I will pay for this sin for the rest of my life.

Chairman Wang’s face lit up as soon as Xiao Zhan raised the axe.
