Chapter 1

“XZS” everyone in the country is familiar with this logo. Xiao Zhan Studio is the ranked one company for designers, not just in one field. They have several fields which are all related to arts and design. Moreover, the founder of XZS is a renowned designer as well, from being a graphic artist to clothes designer. He has vast knowledge when it comes to arts, they also called him ‘God’s favorite’ as he is a talented, handsome young man. He’s dedicated to his work but not as everyone expected he has flaws as well.

 

This talented, handsome young man is a lonely man who doesn’t even have a proper partner and tends to have different partner at night after he broke up with his first love, unfortunately because of work stress, one night stand become his habit and tend to change partner every now and then.

 

Unfortunately for him, he encounters a strange man and doesn’t even know his name and cannot remember what happened, all he can remember is that this man gave him a strange book and decided to read it before doing their deeds to while waiting for his current partner to finish bathing until he passed out and woke up with this unknown world.

 

“Your Majesty, you’re awake. Thank goodness!”

 

“Your Majesty?” Xiao Zhan asked, he stares at them strangely as he’s not familiar with them, they are all wearing hanfu like dress or ancient dress. “Yubin?!Is this a prank?” he asked as he looked at his friend and PA who’s wearing ancient clothes.

 

“Prank? Call the doctor hurry!” One of the servants yelled.

 

“Prince Wei Ying, we’re so glad that you woke up, we are so worried when then saw you at the lake floating last night!”

 

“Wei Ying? Is that my name? What happened last night and who are you?”  Xiao Zhan asked, Wei Ying is a bit familiar for him and he read something about this WeiYing but he’s still gathering his thoughts.

 

“You can’t remember me Your Highness? I am Wen Ning, your loyal servant!” He said while crying.

 

“And where am I Wen Ning?”

 

“You’re at Lan Empire, Your Highness, do you remember anything?”

He tried to remember the story of the novel as much as possible, but all he can remember is the unrequited love of Wei Ying to Lan Wanji but again he wasn’t able to finish the novel and only read a few chapters before passing out.

However since, Xingchen family is not fully under control of the Wens, they decided to choose from a different family instead.

Fortunately, even though Wei Ying changes from being a happy kid to a strict ruler as part of his training on becoming the future Empress, Wei Ying still treats them as friends.

 

Upon hearing the news about Weiying, Yanli and Cheng hurriedly travel to the empire. However, it still a mystery who is the mastermind behind this, as every knows Yunmeng clan are great swimmers as they grew up in Lotus Pier. On the night before the royal wedding, while strolling within the empire Xichen and Xue Yang (one of the trusted guards of Lan Zhan), they found the body of Prince Wuxian on the lake and urgently save him.

‘Wang Yibo and his brother as well?!’ Xiao Zhan thought, although he’s no longer shocked by the appearance of familiar faces but he’s more shocked with the appearance of his business competitor, from Yue Hua company and his former lover.

 

They used to date in high school to college, but due to some circumstances Yibo left him but more him he already moved on and only saw him as potential client and competitor, as he no longer wanted to waste unnecessary emotion while working. Although they are from different fields, XZS has one branch as well in the entertainment field. However, for this field it is hard to beat YueHua, Yibo is the top actor from that company as well as shareholder and his brother Haikuan as CEO.  But he cannot believe that he’ll see them here as well and as an emperor and fiancée.

 

They have already met on several occasions but as clients in XZS field, as they have the top designers in the field. Even though his brother Haikuan in his world, is aware of their past relationship they continue to collaborate with them.

 

Xiao Zhan ran towards the pavilion as he needed to know if this guy was trustworthy and why Wei Ying fell in love with him although clearly one of the reasons was his look, but right now it’s no longer his style. If they are going to ask him, right now he prefers cute and smaller guys than him.

 

“Hey!” Xiao Zhan said as he sat down in front of the emperor.

“Hey? How are you, Prince Wei Ying? Looks like you are now okay” Lan Zhan confusingly asked.

 

“Yeah, I’m okay but are we really getting married?” Xiao Zhan asked, he wanted to finish this story as he thought this might be the way to go back to his previous world, however what’s with this emperor’s face somehow, he’s familiar with this expression. Like some who’s on facade.

 

Lan Zhan just stares at him, thinking what he should answer as there are a lot of eyes and ears within the palace. “Yes, we will get married,” he smiled and answered.

 

“But you love Xingchen right?”

 

Lanzhan stopped browsing his book and looked at him.

 

“Why not make her your Empress instead of me?”

 

“Wen Qing, I think Prince Weiying is still sick, call the doctor and drag him into his room. We’ll be getting married by next week so make sure that he recuperates.” Lan Zhan ordered Wen Ning

 

“Yes, my Lord.” Wen Qing said as they dragged Wei Ying’s body going to his room while he’s still struggling.

 

“Aiyoo! That fuddy buddy emperor!”  Wei Ying grumbles as they reach his room.

 

He needs to investigate how he can give the happy ending to Lan Zhan so he can go back to his real world, while imagining what’s happening right now to his studio and company.

 

“Even in other world we are still not meant together, but I hope someone will feed Jiangou,” he said worriedly as he thinks about his munchkin cat before falling asleep.
