DC- chapter 29

Suddenly Zhan kissed him bringing his mind back to him.

“Good night” Zhan said softly and yawned tiredly then turned to open the door, Yibo held him back.

“Is there anything wro…”

Before he could finish Yibo covered his lips and kissed him deeplly, opened his eyes staring at his brother’s car in anger.

A lot of going in his mind, fear of being betrayed again, he couldn’t voice it out, but this was the only way he could express it.

“Well that was one wild kiss.” Zhan gasped after Yibo released him.

For a minute Yibo didn’t say anything, his deep eyes were cold ice blue and drank, Zhan noticed and worried if there’s anything wrong.

Yibo suddenly hugged him tightly, Zhan still confused but decided to stay in the hug.

Zhan loved how warm his body feels.

“I…i..lost control and kissed you that hard..”

Zhan eyes widened, he pulled away slightly from him.

Zhan placed a finger on Yibo lips.

“Shhh, I love it.”

Zhan bit his lower lip and winked then he got out of the car.

“Be punctual tomorrow okay?” Zhan warned like a boss.

Yibo smirked and nodded smiling.

Zhan blushed and turn running tiny excitedly to towards their house.

He noticed the unfamiliar car parked in front of their house, getting to the front of their door, he turned and saw Yibo’s face cold immediately he noticed Zhan turned back, Yibo forced a smile. He started the engine.

Zhan smiled back and waved at him then got into the house.

As soon as the door shut, Yibo’s eyes burned darkly, wanted to drive off but couldn’t.

He can’t bear to lose to his brother again.

Anything else will okay, but not Zhan.

His fist clenched shakily.

“Ma, I am home.” he opened the door, breathing heavily.

“Gosh I am exhausted, well I also have good news.” he stated pulling off his shoes with a low groan.

After he straighten up and headed to the living room.

“You’re back.” Haikuan smiled and got up from the couch.

“Haikuan?…what are you doing here?” Zhan snapped surprisly, “Mom?”

“She’s already gone to bed”.

“Her drugs..”

“I made sure she took those,” Haikuan replied smiling charmly.

“How did you know about her illness?”

“We discussed quite few things the past hours I waited for you.”

“Why were you waiting for me?”

“Now that’s a heartbreaking question from you.” Haikuan said still holding his charming smile.

He then gave him the flower.

“Unfortunately I can’t gift you the most beautiful flower because you are the most beautiful flower also I brought gifts.”

Zhan smiled uncomfortably.

“This is sweet Haikuan but I am sorry I can’t accept those, and how did you know my address, you should have told me you are coming or something..”

Zhan said and looked back as if Yibo was standing behind the door, he was atleast grateful Yibo didn’t follow him inside the house.

“I thought we are friends”Haikuan’s voice softly.

“The thing is, I am in love with someone else Haikuan and this…this isn’t right, please you have to leave.”

Zhan muttered and walked towards the staircase.

“Let me guess, you talked to Yibo about what I said and he denied it all, he must have told you, he was the victim and father and my mother were terrible to him, he got his marks from father’s ill treatments”.

Zhan stopped halfway to the stairs and turned back to him coldly.

“How did you?”

Haikuan sighed.

“You are so naive Zhan, he did that to melt your heart, my brother is good with such strategy. Tell me Zhan if I am really my father’s favourite why then was I not made his heir instead of his spoilt ungrateful son and you believe my mother can sexually abused a young boy almost the age of her son?

I was the hardworker who took over my father’s company and the one obediently following his rules yet he loved my brother enough to be his heir, Yibo told you what you wanted to hear as a person with a fragile heart, he is the black sheep and you may realize it late Zhan.”
