CH- chapter 42

Wang Yibo

In the office, Zanjin put the USB in the laptop and both brothers wait for what will happen.

Yibo can feel his heartbeat was beating at abnormal level…. his whole skin was pinning he makes a fist of both of his hand to control that anxiety he was feeling.

For an unknown reason he doesn’t want anything against Zhan… he wants himself to be wrong… he was internally praying.

Then video played

In the video, there was loud music sound in the background.

People were dancing and waitress was giving drinks, then he saw a blonde waitress who has too much makeup on her face and she was making drinks… the video was zoom on the waitress, he saw Zhan young face.. he looks like a teenager here…

Zhan said something to the waitress in her ear and waitress just give her a funny look and nodes.

Then Zhan gives money to the waitress and waitress look to her left and right and put that money in her breast pocket and went inside a sliding door.

Yibo saw Zhan was waiting for someone then that waitress came and he gives something to Zhan in an orange mug and put a fucking pill inside it a fucking pill Zhan gives her smile… like Zhan is succeeded at what he wanted and he took the mug and went directly to her sister Yifei and said something and give it to her…

Yifei drink that whole and Zhan was gone.

Yibo felt that anger that he has subsided inside himself a long time ago and it revives again at a bigger level, He wanted to really kill that bitch so slowly and so brutally…. why he did that why…

Zanjin closed took the USB and said. “I have made contact with the waitress too she is ready to give her statement to the court but I think this video proves enough that Xiao Zhan was involved since he gives the money to the waitress and rests you have seen.”

Haikuan said to Yibo. “Then we should not wait anymore it’s time for Zhan to pay for his sins.”

Yibo shakes his head. “No.”

Haikuan sighs. “Yibo I told you I give a damn….I will put him behind the bar with or without your support.”

Yibo stands and straightens his suit. “I’m saying not today… but tomorrow we are calling Zhan family. Mr. Xiao should know how and who was involved in Yifei death.”

Haikuan gives a strange look then he smiled in understanding. “That will be fantastic.”

Yibo took out his cigarette and put it in his mouth and gave a cruel smile. ‘One night Zhan you have one night to sleep peacefully then you will be gone.’

When he walked into the room he heard voices coming from the TV lounge side…

He went there and saw Zhan was playing with Fei and they look very happy…

Yibo cringed and feel like he will not see this again because Zhan has done this to himself.

He heard Fei giggling. :Mama… mama…!”

Zhan was kissing his daughter fat cheeks that makes Fei laugh more loudly. “mama loves you so much sweetie pie… my little dolly.”

Yibo closes his eyes and he felt that what if he is wrong…. what it’s a misunderstanding as Fei will be so alone after Zhan has gone and Zhan can’t live without his daughter as it is very clear to him.

But what was Yifei fault then…. he though in anger, they are also living without Yifei for so many years.

Yibo anger return again and his plan was now more firmed then ever…

“Dada… dada.” Fei pointed at Yibo.

Yibo comes back from his evil plan and saw Zhan beautiful stun eyes.

Zhan stand automatically and said. “sir… you came early?”

Yibo regards him with interest. “Yes I did… I need to talk to you for a moment.”

Zhan look little worried but nodes, he puts Fei in the play pan and went inside his room.

Yibo was removing his tie and sit down…

Zhan brought his glass of water and give it to him.

Yibo took the glass and took a sip… Zhan was standing for next order.

Yibo looks up and down and said. “I invited your parents tonight for the dinner.”

Zhan flinched and gasp. “Wh, what?”

Yibo looks like he said something very normal. “Yeah I mean it’s more than 3 years so they should be now involved in our life too. I was wrong to make you guys stay away… after all, you are their son so I called your father and I must say he was really happy.”

But Zhan was in his own state of mind that he can’t described… his father, his mother will be here? he can feel the tears in his eyes but then he felt anger.

“I don’t want to meet them.”

Yibo gives him an angry glare but he composed it with a smile. He stand and walk towards him and put his hand on Zhan’s tense shoulder.

“I know you are angry with them but it was my fault. I have told you to stay away from them and I also told something to your parents that let them stay away from you, but let’s forget about this. It’s a fresh start we are taking… so get yourself-ready and Fei too. they are dying to meet Fei.”

Yibo saw how Zhan looks super confused and emotional but that’s what he wants.

He took out Zhan clothes and give him to him. “Now get ready I will send Xueli she will make Fei ready, now hurry they are coming in an hour.”

Zhan absently took the clothes and went inside the bathroom and Yibo smiles in victory that tonight this bitch with knew how his life is going to change, but then his eyes fall to playing Fei.

He becomes tense and realized not only Zhan life will be changed but also Fei too her only friend will be gone from her life tonight… and he will be behind this… it was a gut-wrenching moment for him.

Yibo walks away from the room and remembers he is doing this for Yifei.

Xiao Zhan

When he gets down and was helding Fei he try to control his breathing….

…its ok Zhan let them come let them see in which hell they have left him maybe they can at least feel guilty or take him away from here of course he won’t live with his parents but if they are the source to get out then he will use it.

Zhan saw the dining room was filled with every type of foed….

He is amazed that there was a time when this family can’t even listens to any member of Xiao family name and nowhere a grand dinner is also arranged.

He saw Carmen was talking to the butler and was telling him. “I want the dessert to be chilled and it should be served with tea and coffee ok.”

Then Carmen turn and saw Zhan.

Carmen smiled for the first time which makes Zhan little stun and uneasy.

“Zhan you look so pretty so does Fei.” she touched Fei’s cheeks.

Zhan was shocked Carmen never called him by his name… for Carmen Zhan was always that boy.

Zhan was was now more confused then even. Then he heard voices..

When Zhan turn he saw Yibo standing with his father and mom and there was his brother Cheng too.

Zhan stop breathing, after so many years he was seeing his family face… especially his father… he looks so old and weak.

Zhan can feel those tears of anger and sadness that he has stored inside him.

Zhan father saw his son standing looking so fragile and sad he was stun like him… he walk slowly. “Zh… Zhan.” he stumbles.

Zhan bites his lips to say something.

Zhan father hug him and said. “I missed you so much and you look so weak.”

Zhan still didn’t say a word then Mr. Xiao saw a little girl who was attached to his mother leg.

Mr. Xiao kneel down and said. “and who is this beautiful girl.”

He picked Fei.

Fei who was not familiar with stranger held except Zhan and Mr. Wang was looking scared and was about to cry.

Zhan took his daughter and try to calm her.

Mr. Xiao can see Zhan was not talking but was angry… “I know you are angry but I promise I will not leave you again alone, finally things are sorted out.”

Zhan raise his eyebrows what things are sort out then he saw his mother who gives him a smile but Zhan turn his face and saw Cheng who also looks confused like him… but Zhan walk towards him and hug him.

Cheng hugs him back and said in his ear. “Hi bro… I don’t know whats happening here but you won’t go missing again I will make sure of that.”

Zhan smiled. “I have to tell you so many things but not now.”

Cheng nodes then held Fei who was looking at new faces… Cheng kissed her and said “she is so beautiful.”

Carmen came and said in a fake voice. “sorry to break the family reunion but the dinner is ready.”

When everyone was going Zhan had a weird feeling and said to Yibo. “what’s happening here, sir.”

Yibo smirked. “Well we are having dinner and after dinner… your all doubts will be clear.”

In the dining room, everyone was having a small talk and enjoying the feist.

Mr. Wang was talking to Zhan dad…

Haikuan and Ann were also there and entertaining the guest.

Yibo talked to Cheng, everything looks normal but Zhan has a feeling something mega will happen tonight…

Mrs. Shuli has already taken Fei since she was asleep.

Zhan was so overwhelmed that he can’t have more than three bites.

He saw Yibo gives an understanding node to Haikuan, who nodes his head and stand and go to the living room.

After dinner, the dessert was severed and everyone walks towards the living room to have their tea there, but when they entered the room they saw a big projector screen… it was not there before.

Yibo said. “I know everyone is confused what this huge thing is doing here but tonight we have to show you guys something exciting.” he smiled.

Everyone settle down and wait whats happening.

Then the pictured played…

Zhan was stun to see himself. He recalls it was 12 dec night, he looked at Yibo and Yibo was looking him in hate and disgust.

Zhan knows what it looks like in the video but it’s was something totally different.

Mr Wang who was also paled. “Yi… Yibo what is this?”

Yibo replied loudly. “dad this the clip of the night when Yifei was gone missing and now you can see she was drugged by your dearest son in law.”

Mr. Xiao and Cheng stand. “What rubbish is this… Zhan will never do that.”

Yibo smiled in a sarcastic manner. “Of course how can he do this all alone… your son Xiaojun was involved too…. and after this video, it’s quite obvious who is involve or not…I have other proves too.”

Zhan shakes his head and said in a worried tone.

” Sir… sir please listen to me.. please listen to me… I swear it was something else. I went there to ask for a glass of milk and painkiller. I didn’t drug her.. Yifei tell me to bring her milk and some painkiller I swear to god I’m not lying.”

Zhan was trying to explain his innocence…

But Haikuan came and yelled. “Stop fucking lying you bitch we can see that you have given the waitress the money to drug her even the waitress is ready to give her statement.”

Zhan was terrified that he can’t prove himself.

“No… no this is a misunderstanding.” he walked toward Mr Wang and said. “I swear on my Fei, daddy I didn’t do it.”

Mr Wang was shaking and was about to say something then Carmen came and pushed Zhan roughly.

“Stop lying you bitch you killed my daughter. You are a murderer! Yibo call the police.”

Yibo looks down on his wife and said in a dead tone. “They are on their way!”

Cheng run and walked towards his brother and picked him. “I will see how you guys can take him… he didn’t do it… for a moment I can believe Xiaojun involvement but not Zhan.”

Zhan mom reacted to this. “Cheng, Xiaojun will never do this.”

Cheng glares her. “So not Zhan and now I can understand why he never contacted us… after seeing the abusive treatment towards him I should file a case against you guys.”

Yibo said in an intermediating voice. “Even you do that it will cause no harm to us… because in this video your brother is considered to be involved in Yifei kidnapping and death.”

Zhan was crying and he walked toward his husband in a broken state.

“Sir I know you don’t love me but don’t do this to me…. I’m innocent… you have spent 3 years with me and 3 years is a long time to know a person and understand that it’s not in me to kill someone… I’m begging you don’t do this… please think about Fei… she can’t live without me.”

Yibo eyes were little disturb and he was really thinking but Carmen came and said.

“Yibo don’t listen to him, he is emotionally blackmailing us… if I can miserably live five years without my daughter so she can…”

Then the butler came and said. “Sir there are some police officers with me.”

Everyone turned to the officers and Zhan held Yibo arm and said. “Please I’m begging you.”

Yibo give him a dark look and said. “Officers take him away right now.” and he roughly removes his hand.

Zhan was dead shocked…. He was numb and silent and can hear Cheng, his father and Mr Wang voices, stopping the police but they were dragging him.

He wanted to see his daughter he screamed then. “FEIIII”

Yibo stops in the midway and looked worried too.

But Zhan kept on saying. “Let me see my daughter… please let me see my daughter please..”

But the police was not listening to him and they forcefully put him in the police car and took him away from one hell to another.
