Chapter 24

 

Xiao Zhan woke up in the middle of the night while in a comfortable bed but unfamiliar bed and realized he was not in his room. He stood up and saw a man without his clothes on the same bed. Given that he’s not wearing any eyeglasses nor contacts and the room is dim, he tends to panic and wanted to run out of the room. But before he can do so, a strong hand pulls him back on the bed.

 

“Where are you going?”

 

“Yibo?!”

 

“Why?” Yibo answered as he hugged Xiao Zhan’s back.

 

“Why are you not wearing any shirt?!” Xiao Zhan said as he struggles to get out of the hug.

 

“Why, don’t you mind do you? You’ve seen everything before so what’s the difference of not wearing a shirt?”

 

Xiao Zhan flushed as he remembered that incident and says, “I didn’t mean to!”

 

“Mn,” Yibo simply answered while tightly hugging Xiao Zhan’s back and the older man just stay put in resignation.

 

“Yibo, I’m sorry I didn’t really mean to ignore your message.” Xiao said sincerely, he felt guilty of what happened. He should’ve still informed him, and he was patiently waiting yesterday. No matter how awkward he was regarding Yibo’s date, he decided to support him no matter what.

 

“I’m still mad at you,” Yibo said, and he noticed how Xiao Zhan flinched when he that.

 

“I’m really sorry, I will support you no matter what you do or whoever you wanted to date, I just really forgot my pho—” Xiao Zhan said as he rolled over to face Yibo and directly apologize to him. Yibo was dumbfounded by the sudden movement of Xiao Zhan and even though there’s no light, he can see how sincere he looks.

 

Without saying anything, Yibo leans closer to Xiao Zhan and cut him off by capturing his lips. This time he can no longer resist the temptation in front of him. As he deepens the kiss, his hands travel to the older man’s waist.

 

Xiao Zhan was too stunned by the kiss and felt so different to what they had before. He’s having a hard time breathing as the younger man trying to explore his mouth. He doesn’t know where he is going to put his hands, so he just holds on to the younger’s man broad shoulder.

 

“Zhan-ge, breathe,” Yibo said in between the kisses and smirks how satisfied he is with Xiao Zhan’s current expression.

 

“Why are we doing this Yibo?” Xiao Zhan said innocently and still trying to grasp what’s happening. The experience is new, but it doesn’t feel disgusting, more like he likes it in an awkward way.

 

“This is a punishment Zhan-ge, you shouldn’t ignore me like that,” Yibo said as he continued kissing him and taking the lead.

 

Yibo hates kissing when he had sex before, as possible he wouldn’t do it with his one-night stand partners, but right now, this might be his new addiction.

 

Xiao Zhan woke up as the sunshine hit his face. He’s alone in the wide room with minimalist decoration. He remembers what happened last evening and gently touches his lips.

 

Yibo left a note on the table bed with breakfast on it. It turns out Yibo had an early schedule after his long vacation and had to leave early. Although he feels embarrassed by what they did, he feels guilty for Yibo’s date.

 

“But he said that it was a punishment, can you really kiss someone just for a punishment, it’s not a bad feeling though,” Xiao Zhan mumbles to himself. After he had his breakfast, he cleaned the room, washed the dishes as well and went back to his room to prepare in going back to work.

 

He enters the Xnine unit and reminds them again of their schedule, while he and Zhiguang wait for the others in the car, Zhiguang noticed told him about his swollen lips.

 

“What happened to your lips Zhan-ge?”

 

“Why?”

 

“It’s swollen,”

 

“Really? Is it really that obvious?” Xiao Zhan said and hurriedly looked at the mirror. Zhiguang is right, he didn’t even notice that his lips were swollen.

 

“Do you have a lover Zhan-ge?” Zhiguang asked.

 

“None, it was just, uhm I was bitten by something, I already applied some medicines to it. Obviously, he knew what’s the reason was, but he just cannot tell Zhiguang about it, besides he is younger than him.

 

Yibo on the other hand is obviously in a good mood, even his brother Haikuan asked him why he is in a good mood. Yibo simply said that he just had a great time.

 

“You really look happy today?” Haikuan said.

“Mn Da-ge, I just had a great time and found my new hobby and addiction,” Yibo said while still playing on his phone.

 

“Hobby? Addiction?”

 

“Mn,” Yibo simply said.

 

The dating variety show also finished their shooting and the producers also contacted Xiao Zhan for his date, they even asked Xiao Zhan if they can give his phone number to Johnny since he is asking for it.

 

He gave them permission to do so besides Johnny is a good friend. After a while he also receives some messages from Johnny asking for his availability. The show set them up for a dinner date as their prize for the game that they had won together with their gift certificates.

 

Also, Xiao Zhan gains popularity as well after the show. When he was with Xnine some of the other staffs even asked him if Johnny and him or does he really have a feeling for Johnny.

 

Xiao Zhan refuted this and told them that they are just friends. But still people are still shipping them and love how good chemistry they had.
