After a few weeks, the Valentine special of Yibo’s perfume mini film commercial and ads were released, and everyone is talking about it. Currently it is one of the hot topics on Weibo and the Director even praise Yibo.

 

“He has an ethereal look and even with his eyes, he can easily seduce someone!” Director said in one of the interviews.

 

“But Director the mini film is so popular right now, we all know that Wang Yibo always bring large traffic whenever he releases something, but what really catches the attention of everyone not just the fan is, who is the mysterious model with Wang Yibo? We could only see the lower half of his side face, but clearly, he has a great body and obviously he has a great feature as well!” the reporter asked.

 

“That hmm, I’m sorry, even I wanted to introduce him but he’s just a substitute during that time as you all know the other model had an accident that time. We are thankful for the support, but he wanted to stay anonymous, maybe in the future if he changes his mind, we could welcome him. Thank you all!”  The Director declared and finished the interview.

 

“Oh my gosh Zhan-ge, we cannot see the full face, but I know it is you!” Mianmian said, they just had a meeting with the agency and while Xiao Zhan is waiting for Yibo, Mian Mian interrogated him.

 

“What? Of course not, I do not look like that,” Xiao Zhan denied. Thankfully, they cannot see my face since it’s embarrassing enough, it’s just some of his friends asked him if it was him and denied it as he doesn’t want to receive teasing from them.

 

Modelling is not new for Xiao Zhan, even though he’s not a model by profession but when he was a student it was required to be a model sometimes for their projects at school. However, since he’s an introverted person, with insecurities and really wanted to pursue graphic design, he focused on designing and photography.

 

Now, he’s curious what does other people say about him, Yibo mentioned before that he doesn’t need a weibo nor douyin, we’ll he’s not into social media as well but right now he’s curious. So, he asked Mianmian, how does it work, and she helped him create his own account and follows some of his friends. Mianmian taught him how to navigate these social media and he starts to read some comments, thankfully most of the comments are pure adoration but of course some are negative comments, unknowingly someone is observing him at the back and grabs his phone.

 

“So, Lao-Xiao how does it feel to be famous?”

 

“Wang Yibo! you scared me!”

 

“You’re enjoying your popularity too much, you shouldn’t read these kinds of comments,” Yibo said thoughtfully as he scans the account.

 

“You have an account? Funny, you are not following me, but you are following Mian, Xuan Lu, Zoucheng, Yubin, Wang Talu and even Seoungyoun, so what’s your excuse Zhan-ge?” Yibo said as he unfollows one of them which is Talu and followed his account he searches everything on his account using Xiao Zhan account to be relevant.

 

“I just created that 30 minutes ago, okay? And I’m pretty sure that you already follow yourself.”

 

“Of course, you should follow me, I should be on your first list Zhan’ge”

 

“Yea, yea sorry about that Young Master.” and Yibo just gave him a proud smile.

 

While the two were discussing in the waiting area, Haikuan saw them and greeted Xiao Zhan cheerfully. He’s different from Yibo, he’s more composed but no doubt he loves his brother and fully supports him, he’s good at negotiation as well.

 

“Oh President Haikuan, good to see you.”

 

“How many times do I have to say it Zhan, just call me Haikuan we’re just the same age you know.”

 

” Hahaha but you’re still my boss.”

 

“Haha, anyway, again I you are gaining attention. Good job with the photoshoot, by any chance do you want to be a model? I can fully support you.”

 

“No, he can’t. Zhan-ge is too conservative for that job.” Yibo said while still browsing using Xiao Zhan’s phone.

 

“Yibo’s right Haikuan, besides I already told you last meeting about my career choice.”

 

Haikuan fully understood what he was trying to say, but Yibo thought that it was about his career as a manager.

 

After a tiring day Yibo and Xiao Zhan went back to their hotel, Yibo went up first together with Lele. But after dropping Yibo in their hotel Xiao Zhan decided to grab some food at the nearest restaurant. Unknowingly there’s still a lot of people in the lobby of the hotel as he decided to drop by the front desk for some things. Unknowingly, those people are waiting for him.

 

“That’s him! That’s Zhan-ge! He’s Yibo’s Manager!” He heard and was startled by some people he doesn’t know what’s happening and startled by all the fuss. These guys and girls are giving him gifts and as a reflex of being a manager, he accepted it.

 

“Zhan-ge! Zhan-ge we saw you at the variety show with YueHua talents! even though we always see you with Yibo, we always thought that you’re cute You’re so cute! This is for you!” Thankfully it was because of the show and not from the perfume commercial and ads.

 

However, Xiao Zhan is not used to this kind of treatment, since all the time this kind of treatment and spotlight was for Yibo, and he’s getting anxious and froze on the spot. Thankfully the manager of the hotel saw this and managed the crowd and assisted Xiao Zhan on the elevator. He called Yibo but Lele had already left the building. Thanks to the manager Xiao Zhan managed to escape those people.

 

“You’re now popular as well Mr. Xiao” The manager said cheerfully.

 

“No! No! I’m not, I am thankful for these gifts, but I am really overwhelmed, so this is why Yibo just chooses to be cold sometimes.”

 

“That’s true, even though we are used to these people it is still difficult if the spotlight is on you.”

 

“I’m really thankful for your help. Manager!” Xiao Zhan said and bowed politely.

 

“It is my job Mr. Xiao take care,” the manager said as they arrived on their floor.

 

Since there’s only two room on this floor, Yibo decided to wait in front of the elevator. Once it opened, he quickly grabbed Xiao Zhan on the shoulder and asked, “Are you okay? Did they touch you?”

 

“I’m okay, thanks to the manager.” Yibo politely bows to the manager as well. As they’ve reached Yibo’s room, he called Haikuan and Lele to inform them to guard Xiao Zhan as well. But Haikuan is opposed with his idea and it still safe if he adds another bodyguard but Yibo only trusts Lele so he asked him to guard Xiao Zhan and the new bodyguard will be assigned to him. Haikuan can only agree and thinks that it is time to talk to Xiao Zhan again about his decision with his request.

 

After a tiring day, they decided to rest, and Xiao Zhan went back to his unit. Yibo went to his “toy room” where you can see his collection, it is a room inside his bedroom, so Xiao Zhan doesn’t usually come to this room unless he has new toys or helmet. He has a secret storage where he kept most of his valuable things.

 

He grabs the picture from an old box and reminisces about his short but blissful days. “I should have protected you Zhan-ge, I don’t want you to forget me again, you’re the reason why I’m here.”

At Xiao Zhan’s room, while he was taking and dipping in a bath, he saw the large scar on his thigh, this is one of the reasons why he’s always fully clothed even in the summer he refused to wear shorts.

 

‘It’s still ugly” he said as he caressed his scar and for some reason, he felt lonely but relieved while touching it.
