Chapter 25

When Xiao Zhan was 12 years old, he loves to walk in the mountain together with Wang Talu, however, that year, Talu left together with his family to have a vacation in another place for two months. Ever since, he’s always playing with Talu since they are the only child in their village.

 

But he loves nature and always wanted to paint it and get motivation from it. On a certain day before the August ends, when he was playing alone, he saw a small child with his broken bicycle, crying under the tree. The child is so adorable even though he was crying, like a white peony, so he decided to approach him.

 

 

“Hi, I am Xiao Zhan, would you like an accompany?” Little Xiao Zhan said and smiled at the child.

 

“Get lost,” the child hurriedly wipes his tears.

 

“I see, I’m just on the other side of this tree, let me know if you need anything, you may use this handkerchief as well,” Xiao Zhan left him and moved on the other side of the tree where the other child is sitting.

 

He continued his painting while humming and after finishing it, he went back to the child’s side to check if he had stopped crying and surprisingly, he was sleeping on the grass. Xiao Zhan removed his cardigan and put it on top the sleeping child; he leaned on the tree and fell asleep.

 

When he woke up the child was gone, so was his cardigan and painting earlier, but he received a note instead in his drawing book.

 

“You shouldn’t draw someone without their permission, I’ll be taking it and the wind is cold I’ll return your cardigan tomorrow, don’t be late, Zhan-ge.”

 

“Zhan-ge! Zhan-ge!”

 

“Oh, I’m sorry Zhiguang what is it?”

 

“I am trying to get your attention since earlier, what are you thinking.”

 

“Ah, no, nothing haha” Xiao Zhan awkwardly said.

 

“Zhan-ge, I don’t want you to get awkward with me, but I noticed recently your lips are always swollen and Zhan-ge I know I’m younger than you, but I know what it is,” Zhiguang said as he points out the kiss marks around his neck.

 

Xiao Zhan flushed with the sudden realization and covers his neck, lately Wang Yibo has been intimately clingy to him, it all started when he visited his unit. Yibo always mentioned that he hasn’t forgiven him and it’s already three days since that happened, he wanted to push him away, but he cannot. The sensation is too good for him as well, and he is still guilty about what happened.

 

“Do you have a lover Zhan-ge?” Zhiguang curiously asked.

 

“No, besides I think he is already dating someone, I saw him on a date” Xiao Zhan shyly said.

 

“He’s not your lover?! But you let him kiss you?!”

 

“Shh! Please be quite Zhiguang, someone might hear you.”

 

“Zhan-ge you shouldn’t allow that! You are a precious person, do not let someone take you for granted,” Zhiguang said as he held Xiao Zhan’s hands. Wang Yibo opens the door and cross his arms as he noticed the young artist and his former manager.

 

“You love holding his hands do, you?” Yibo asked as he leaned on the door.

 

“Yibo” “Senior.” Both were stunned by the sudden appearance of Yibo.

 

“Zhan-ge, I have a shooting in another location for a week,” Yibo said.

 

“Uhmm sure but why are you telling me this?” Xiao Zhan confusedly asked since he is not his manager.

 

“I just want to tell you if you get lonely you can still visit, same password by the way. Got to go I still have a schedule, bye.” Yibo said as he leaned and kissed Xiao Zhan’s forehead without minding Zhiguang and left the room.

 

“Now I know Zhan-ge,” Zhiguang said.

 

“No, uhm I do not know how to explain it, but we do not have any relationship, I swear.”

 

“Okay, I believe you,” Zhiguang just sighed with resignation. Xiao Zhan went to the location of other Xnine member, while Zhiguang wait Yibo to finish his shooting.

 

“Senior Wang and Senior Seoungyoun, hello,” Zhiguang greets Yibo with a smile.

 

“Know him Yibo?” Seoung youn asked.

 

“Mn.”

 

“May I talk to you alone Senior Wang?”

 

“Talk, be quick” Yibo simply answered.

 

“You shouldn’t do that to Zhan-ge, he is so precious, if you want someone to play with you should look for another one,” Zhiguang said but Yibo just smirked and clearly Seoung youn is confused and thinking what Yibo did.

 

“I know how precious he is, you don’t have to tell me,” Yibo said.

 

“But he said you already have a lover! And you are still doing that to him, he doesn’t deserve that!”

 

“You know what you shouldn’t meddle with other people’s business,” Yibo irritably said.

 

“But I – You do not deserve Zhan-ge Senior Wang, he deserves better!”

 

“Who are you to decide that you are just an observer, and who told you that I have a lover?” Yibo said.

 

“Zhan-ge, told me that he saw you with a date,” Zhiguang explained.

 

Yibo was stunned with the current information, he hasn’t booked anyone since Xiao Zhan left him so that’s impossible, but he realized that he really had a date before, but it was a date for that dating show were he was chosen as a trial date.

 

“So Senior Wang, please don’t do that to our manager,” Zhiguang said.

 

Yibo just looked at him and smirks triumphantly, he doesn’t need explain it besides he is pretty sure that Xiao Zhan is enjoying it too based on his reaction.  However, he needs to clear up the misunderstanding, but he has a great idea instead and wanted to know Xiao Zhan’s reaction as well. For some quite time now he’s getting addicted to Xiao Zhan’s embarrassed reaction.

 

“Mn, well you should stop holding his hands,” Yibo said and walks away.

 

Zhiguang wanted to follow them but decided not to do it, he is really worried about his manager. He always supported them; he even defended him on their live stream by their antis. He wanted to do the same. He will not let that casanova senior artist hurt his manager.
