Xiao Zhan
He tiredly sighs “Cheng please listen to me, just leave it. You will never find something that is going to take me out this prison… why you are ruining your life for me… now you have your own life… you are managing daddy business now so don’t spoil it because of me.”
Cheng yelled at phone.
“damn it Zhan… that’s what I hate about you. You just lose hope… why can’t you think positive… I’m telling you there something bigger in this story… if they can find evidence against you so there is sure as hell some evidence favoring you, according to my source that club was in some posh areas which means CCTV footage is everywhere around it… maybe we can find the footage and see who really kidnap Yifei… so please Zhan don’t lose hope. I want you back… you were never like this before.” he said in sadness
Zhan replied. “Because the Zhan you are recalling is dead and I understand what you have told me but don’t you think Wangs hasn’t looked for that CCTV footage you are looking now… they were more desperate than us…!”
Cheng said in a suspicious tone “maybe someone doesn’t want that footage to be found…”
Zhan rubbed his temple “still it’s a long way for me… but I need you to do something else… can you come back from Japan to China and go to Yibo and tell him that I haven’t seen my daughter for a year.”
Cheng lost it. “That fucking bastard lied to you… why he didn’t let Fei meet you.”
Zhan tears were falling. “I don’t know why… even he made a promise to me… so please find out this reason.”
Cheng tightly said “those bastards never took my calls and email… I have to personally visit them… n this time I will go with court orders… don’t worry I’m coming in 2 weeks…. till then I will call Jiyang and take out the notice against Wangs… you will meet your daughter soon.”
Zhan took a relief sighs “thank you Cheng… I love you.”
Cheng softly said “I love you too!”

“Mom you are going to doctor appointment.” Haikuan said.
Carmen gives him a fake sad smile. “Of course I’m. I will not neglect my mental issues. I will get better, maybe you guys can forgive me!”
Carmen saw how Haikuan eyes melt.
“Mom… I forgive you.. it’s Yibo who is still little shaken from this but he will get better… he needs time.”
That’s what hurt Carmen more that his Yibo is getting away from her…. that Zhan and his daughter made her son distant from her… she will never forget this she will take her revenge soon… n that’s why she is going to meet that bitch and show him something special that will change his life.
Carmen evilly smiled and sit in her car.

Wang Yibo
Yibo was in his home office, he was looking for a file then he opened the last draw and found the file but was dead stop when he saw a picture of newspaper clip…
A picture he had stored here almost a year ago but never had the courage to look at.
He slowly picked the picture and saw how beautiful Zhan looks in a navy blue suit he wore in Miami….. it was their cover picture.
Yibo unintentionally graces Zhan picture and wished things were different he might fall in love with him.
He was keenly looking at every single detail of his wife face body and remembering their bittersweet time…
He sometimes wonders how Zhan is doing in jail…
He shake his head… then he heard small baby like voice “daddy.”
He smiled it was his Fei… they both had got so much closer to each other in past weeks…
He can say this Fei holds his heart… she is his biggest weakness and strength too.
He saw she was running with her small feet and enter his office “daddy… me find you.”
Yibo laughed “yes princess you did and it’s I find you.”
He gently corrects her but his Fei was excited to show him something.
Fei holds Yibo legs and Yibo very easily picked her and put her in his lap.
“Now show me what you are so excited about.”
He kissed her pink cheeks and put her long hair behind her ears.
Fei looked him
“dadda give me this mosic box… he said it’s mine and grandma not angry” she brightly smiled.
Yibo took the same music box that started the whole mess… but Fei innocent smile and her excitement didn’t give him the power to get angry at that event.
He gently gives her back “it’s really beautiful… you really deserve this.. (he playfully poke her nose) and it’s music box not mosic.”
Fei giggled and Yibo stand while holding her and throw her in the air and then picked her…
Fei giggled more and Yibo also laughed.
Yibo kissed her hair, and said. “Do you wanna eat ice cream.”
Fei nodes in excitement… Yibo called the kitchen to bring ice cream for Fei
“Ok till then the ice cream is coming… daddy needs to work a little, you can sit down on my lap…. where you can watch cartoons on my tablet… till then daddy will look some file, ok baby.”
Yibo can put her down too but even he gets super busy he doesn’t want Fei away from him…. his sudden realization how much he loves her made him super protective.
He cringed with the memory… that he made in this office when he found out Zhan was pregnant and Zhan was laying on the floor and begging him not to kill him and his baby…..
Yibo was not a good person he knew that but his soul was that much tainted he realized now.
When the ice cream was brought… Yibo put away his file and feed Fei her ice cream… some time she looks so much like Zhan.
Then he heard Fei voice. “Wow daddy he is soo preeeety.”
Fei pointed at Zhan picture he was holding minutes ago.
Yibo forget to put it back but since Fei meet her mother monthly then no need to hide this.
Yibo node with emotions “yup he is… very beautiful.” his voice got shaky little.
Fei removed her hair from her face…”Who is he?”
Yibo raised a confused eyebrow. “You don’t know him?”
Fei shakes her head and pouts “Nope!”
Yibo was little stun… if Fei see Zhan daily then why she saying like that… then it clicks him that Mom never took Fei to meet Zhan…
Zhan was right… he never see his daughter for a year…
Yibo feels suffocated by this news… fuck he looks away… fuck Zhan might be thinking that he broke his promise…. fuck mom why you did this…
Fei timidly then said. “Daddy are you angry?”
Yibo looks down at her and said softly with a smile. “No baby just thinking something…. do you want to know who is he?
Fei nodes… Yibo sighs he has no idea how she will react…. “He is… he is your mother.”
He looked at Fei very differently… Fei was quite a little “like mama….. like Aimer had a mama.”
Yibo nodes slowly “Yeah he is your mama…”
Fei looks at him with her big eyes. “Then why is he not here?”
Yibo composed himself… it’s becoming more difficult and uncomfortable for him to explain.
“Hmmm he… he is not here… he lives some other place…. he has to be there for few years then he will get out.”
Fei scratch her hair
“it’s a bad place? like grandma said that my mama is bad so he is in a bad place… was he bad daddy.” Fei asked in curiosity.
Yibo frowned at that… what else his mother was telling her about Zhan…
He gently smiled and shakes his head “No baby he is not bad (Yibo close his eyes and remember Zhan soft smile… his voice) he was very good…. just sometimes people make mistake and they have to say sorry.. so that’s why he is not here.”
Yibo carefully used the words to explain her.
Fei pout and nods her head. “When he will be back.”
Yibo sighs and rubs his face “hmmm very soon but it might take some years…”
Fei lie down her head in Yibo chest and Yibo protectively kissed her head
“Me have to wait… he can meet me not?”
Yibo smiled and awkwardly said. “So you want to meet him… I can arrange something.”
Fei excitedly said “yes please.”
Yibo gently graced her face. Surely he can do this for her and maybe he can himself see Zhan and explain to him.
“Then you can meet him this weekend.”

He was reading the book but his mind was still going back to Fei… that dream totally shaken him so bad.. that his heart is still beating so fast…
Then he heard the jailer called him.
Jailer look down on him. “you have a visitor.”
Zhan frowned who it can be after a year.. he walks down the visiting hall, and then he saw who it was he stopped in his way… and was shocked…
…why… what she did now…. what Carmen is doing here….
Carmen was sitting looking super arrogant and said without looking him.
“Come on boy… I’m here to talk to you. I don’t have whole day….”
Zhan still hates this bitch with the core of his heart. He still not forget the things she did with his Fei and him.
He walked slowly and sit down “what you are doing here.”
Carmen sarcastically said. “So prison is making you strong good but how strong you are I will see when I tell you the news.”
Zhan stop breathing and look super alert. “what.”
Carmen took out the packet from her bag and said in sad tone.
“I do hate you a lot but this thing was important to share… I know what it was like for me when I lost my daughter… so that’s why I came here to tell you this news.”
Zhan paled… what she is saying… he opened his mouth but then he closed it… what she is indicating…
“what are you saying.” he said in a scared voice.
Carmen looks down “I know you won’t believe me that’s why I came with some proof… this news, is still not out, it’s in the family but since you are Fei mother..”
Zhan lost it and yelled “fuck it just tell me what happens to my Fei.”
Zhan was scared and he can’t see Carmen sad expression…
Carmen then slowly said “Fei…. she… ok listen to me carefully… Fei is dead”
Zhan’s eyes were bulging out… he felt his blood stop flowing… his heart is still beating in his dead body… he then feel the wet teardrops on his face…. “what… NO (he shouted) you are lying… she is fine.”
Carmen took out the pictures and pushed towards Zhan.
“I know you won’t believe me even Yibo also told me not to tell you but I’m mother and I can understand the pain… it was an accident.. your daughter really had a habit of running…. and she falls down from the stairs… she was dead on the spot.” Carmen bluntly said.
Zhan’s body start shaking… he feels like he will die at any moment.. he put hand on his throat… he can’t breath.. no… no his Fei is fine.. she is fine… Carmen is lying…
But then Zhan saw the picture… he flinched when he saw… when he saw his Fei lying consciously on the floor with a bloody lip..
then next picture was her eyes were closed…
“no no no no no no god.. this is not true… she is fine… she has to be fine. I want to talk to Yibo… i want to see my daughter.” he said in a panic.
Carmen look down. “You can’t see Fei… we did a small funeral of her and about Yibo ok sure call him.”
Zhan started crying loudly. “what you did with her….i know you guys did something to her.”
Carmen stands and smirks “I really pity you but you will know how it felt when you lose a child now… and it doesn’t matter who did what… the thing his Fei is no more…”
Carmen picked the pictures and walked away.
Zhan was hysterically crying and shouting. “What you did to my child… you winch come back tell me..”
The guards roughly picked him and took back to his cell.
He saw the jailer and said in a sobbing tone.
“I’m begging you please let me call my husband.. something happen to my daughter I want to check… please”
The jailer looked bored “little mice. I don’t want to strike you so stop this drama and go without a fight to your cell.”
Zhan kneel down and begged him. “I’m begging you.. please please.”
But the cruel jailer shrugs and walked away.
Zhan was sure if something happens to his Fei then he will also not live in this cruel world anymore.

Carmen
She was beaming with happiness., she can’t explain how much she is happy to see that helpless and miserable look on Zhan face… it was a highlight of her day….
She lied… and she knows she did a great job in that… but the question how soon Zhan accept Fei is dead and how she left the will to live..
Her phone rings and she knows who it was calling her.. she picked the phone “yes”
The jailer replied “Mrs Wang…. your target hit on point. Zhan is miserable… he is dying in pain knowing he can’t do anything.” he laughed.
Carmen also smiled and feel so good… cause her target was on point… she makes sure to photoshop those pictures in that manner that it looks, Fei was indeed dead… and some of the evidence she had picked from Yibo office which he was taken to police for locking up the nanny.
“That’s good news.. I’m just waiting when he act and when he loses all hope.” Carmen said in a heartless tone.
The jailer replied. “He was begging me to call his husband like you said I didn’t let him call him yet but how long should I stop him.”
Carmen sighs. “In a few hours. I have made arrangements for that too… he will get that news from the phone if he wants and then you will give him that thing what I have told you.”
The jailer said. “Mrs Wang doesn’t worry. I will give that thing in such a manner that no one will doubt us.”
Carmen ends the call and was waiting for the news she always needed.

Xiao Zhan
“You can call now.” the guard said.
Zhan was crying and Baoshan was consoling him…
Zhan wiped his tears and run towards phone… he dialed the number and hope he its right one.
After the fourth ring the phone was picked.. he doesn’t wait for a second “Yibo.”
But it was someone else who picked the call. “Sorry sir Mr Wang is busy…”
Zhan yelled. “I don’t care, tell him its Zhan it’s urgent.”
The man on the phone said. “I’m sorry sir we got instruction not to disturb Mr Wang in this difficult time… right now he is with some guest who came for the condolence for his daughter Miss Fei.”
Zhan’s hand start shaking “Fei”
The man said in a monotonic voice “yes sir Miss Fei, unfortunately, died today it was her funeral.”
Zhan dropped the phone and he falls down tiredly… Fei.. his daughter.. his beautiful daughter… left him… he start crying…
‘oh god…. how cruel is this… you took one good thing from my life… what was her fault… what was her fault… I should die not her… i should be the one.. not my innocent child..
He starts hitting himself.. he wanted to give him that pain he wanted to tear his soul apart… oh god why-why
he starts shouting “Fei… MY Fei”
The jailer and guards rushed to him. “calm down little mice… today something is wrong with you!”
Zhan has craved like a ball “my Fei is dead.. she is dead.”
The jailer said to guard. “call the medics he is having an attack!”
Zhan can’t breathe.. he was seeing black… he wants to go to his daughter.
The guards took him to the medical room…
The doctor checked him but he was still crying horribly.
The doctor gives him relaxant medicine and he falls asleep.
After a few hours, he woke again and said “Fei”
The jailer was beside him. “God, such a drama queen… now you are awake, get some food and medicine then we will take you to your cell.”
The jailer cleverly put the blade in Zhan table.
The jailer was about to go to call doctor he said. “I’m sorry your daughter is dead but now you have to live this life all alone so don’t make more difficult for you. Sometimes we live with guilt that how you cannot protect your love once or sometimes we finished yourself to stop this guilt the choice is yours.”
He whispers to Zhan and then walked away.
Zhan who knows his life is over, as his Fei is no more… she died alone but he will be with his daughter, she will be not alone there…
He sees the blade… and closed his eyes and said with tears falling “mama is coming to Fei don’t be a scared baby.”
And Zhan smiled at the blade and with the count of three he slit his left wrist…
He feels the instant pain with it was nothing that he was feeling before… he did the same with his right hand and saw his whole blood was covered in bed… he drops down on his bed and then he closed his eyes for good.
