After 2 weeks

“N. NO!”

Mr Wang looked angry and irritated when the nurse helps him to eat his dinner.

He was on the wheel chair, where his left face was twisted and he speaking with difficulty….

Zhan when show him he become so sad and helpless…

He never wanted Mr Wang to suffer like that…

When two weeks ago when Zhan spoke the first time after his accident in front of Mr. Wang he start crying silently and Doctor said that he will be still paralyzed although Zhan speaking do make his recovery little fast.

But still, there was a big MAYBE.

Zhan was helding Fei who suddenly said.

“Dada.”

Mr Wang looks them from his good side and smiled crookedly and then he raised his right hand in welcome and said “Ma.. my Fe…Fei”

Fei was going to turn one on next day start crawling towards Mr Wang and Zhan smiled at him and said to the nurse.

“Give me the food. I will make him eat this.”

The nurse looked relived “Thank god you came, he was missing you.”

Zhan gently took the bowl and said “where’s Mrs Wang”

The nurse replied “Miss Ann had some pain in her stomach so they took her to the hospital… nothing serious but they told them they have to keep them for one night.”

Zhan look worried and pray everything is ok…

Zhan sat down and said. “Now daddy you have to eat this whole and then you are going to have your medicine.”

Mr. Wang replied with a smile “I ca… can’t sa… say no to you.”

After the dinner, Zhan read some book to Mr Wang but Mr Wang was looking at Fei and said to Zhan. “I..wa.. want to hold her.”

Zhan looks uncertain but he picks Fei and gently placed her on Mr Wang good side…

Mr Wang kissed Fei and said “I… I love her… tom.. tomorrow birthday it is?”

Zhan nodes in happiness.

“yes she is turning 1….I was thinking that we can spend tomorrow day in the garden with some small picnic only you, me and Fei.”

Mr Wang nodes but he start crying “I.. was… I want to give her… a bdy paaa… party but i m useless.”

Zhan cringed and said. “No you are not… don’t ever say that you are my father Fei’s father and you are so strong and we will have our own party. Don’t cry daddy please.”

Zhan said in a crying tone.

They were in their own moment that they didn’t realize Yibo came and put his hand on his dad shoulder “dad… how are you.”

Zhan flinched and he is doing for days when he ever saw Yibo.

Yibo also looks disturb when Zhan does that.

Mr Wang turns his head and says with hard voice “ff. ffine”

Zhan saw how Yibo face drops when Mr Wang never looked at him….

Zhan knows he should not feel any sympathy for this man but deep down he did feel that.

The nurse came up with Mr Wang medicine and told him it’s his sleep time.

After Zhan bid goodbye to Mr Wang he picked Fei and Yibo also walked with them when they reached their wing.

Yibo asked “Do you have dinner.”

Zhan who at that time who making excited Fei leave her hair that she was chewing and said meekly “Yes sir.”

Yibo didn’t say anything and walked towards the room Fei who babbling and said “Mama dada”

She pointed at Yibo.

Yibo stops in the midway and become tense and turns little.

Zhan try to shh his daughter but Fei was keeping on saying “mama dada… dada…dada”

Zhan was scared as hell that Yibo will react in negatively so he said in his defense.

“She said these word to everyone, I didn’t tell her anything.” he said in a scared voice.

Yibo looks up and said. “I didn’t say anything to you, and i know that too… I heard her saying that to dad to… just relax ok.”

Zhan release his breath and enter the room, he gives a bath to Fei and put her to sleep.

When he enter his bedroom… he saw Yibo was looking at his phone with little serious expression.

When he saw Zhan was there, Yibo raise his eyes and said. “It was Haikuan he left the message looks like Ann is in labor… but maybe she doesn’t deliver now it’s looking like in the morning… lets see”

Zhan looks down and said. “I hope everything went ok.

Yibo looks intensely at him and said. “Yeah I’m hoping too.. if you are free so can I switch off the lights.”

Zhan just node and went to his side of the bed and lie down he was sleeping in the corner of the bed. Long away from Yibo.

Yibo sighs loudly and said. “You do know that you can fall down like that… just come back a little I won’t eat you.” he said in an irritating sound.

Zhan who becomes tenser when he heard Yibo tight voice and did the same in order to avoid Yibo anger.

But Yibo was not satisfied and he brought Zhan closer by holding his waist and said.

“Shhh just relax. I promise you I won’t hurt you… didn’t I told you before then why don’t you believe me just relax….”

Zhan wanted to tell him how he can relax when Yibo is holding him… and how he doesn’t believe his words about not hurting him.

But Yibo was more focus on his neck and kissed him lightly. “damn you smell so good!”

Zhan make a fist and try to control his breathing, he doesn’t want this he wants him to be gone, he knows if he pushed him Yibo will get angry, so he lay still and tears were falling from his eyes..

Yibo was running his hand on Zhan legs and kissed his cheeks when he felt his tears and looked up.

“Zhan.” he said in shocked.

Zhan didn’t say anything just keep on crying.

Yibo holds his face “open your eyes now.” he said in a harsh sound.

Zhan starts shaking. “I’m sorry sir.. I am so sorry!”

Yibo sighs.

“Just open your eyes first…(when Zhan did) now listen to me… you don’t want this you can tell me Zhan… not cry like this… my bad I think. (Yibo shakes his head) just forget it the main thing is you will not cry like this when I touch you but tell me you don’t want it.”

Zhan nodes, he will do anything to make this man get away from him…

Yibo looks calm but he was super confused too… he just leave him and sleep on his side.

It was almost in the middle of the night that makes Zhan sweat a lot… he was gasping for air.

He was still in his dreams where he saw how Yibo was hitting him with belt and was keep hitting him, but then he saw Fei was crying and he can’t reached her… somebody was taking his Fei from him… and then again Yibo was hitting him…

He screamed loudly.

Yibo woke again in shocked and looked up and hold his wife.

“Zhan wake up.. shhh it’s just a dream nothing else. just a dream, ok baby calm down.”

Zhan opens his eyes and put his hand on his heart.

Yibo give him some water and said “drink this.”

Zhan took the sipe and try to calm his breathing.

Yibo looks quite then he said. “Same that dream.” He said softly.

Zhan looks down and just nodes.

Yibo make him lie down and said. “Just close your eyes, I’m here with you just try to sleep again.”

He said it with such contentment that made Zhan uncertain why he is doing this.

Yibo was about to lay down then his phone ring- he checked the time it was almost 4 o’clock in the morning…

“Hello Haikuan. everything is ok?”

Zhan looks at his husband who was just saying ok and ok and then he said.

“I’m coming too… but… ok… ok yeah I understand… take care and everything will be fine.”

Yibo put down his phone and lay down next to Zhan.

“It was Haikuan. he said Ann has gone to labor room he told me to come in the morning since dad will be alone.”

Zhan thought that if Haikuan and Ann baby is born today then it will make Fei and their baby birthday on the same day it was strange but interesting.

Yibo said. “What you are thinking.”

Zhan holds himself in an alert position. “Nothing. I was… its strange Fei birthday is today so will be Ann child that what I’m thinking.”

Yibo looks like he didn’t know about that today his daughter was born.

he just said. “Oh… well that’s interesting.” and then he turns his backside.

Zhan shakes his head this man will never love his own daughter than how he can love him or anyone else.
