CH-chapter 55

In the hospital Yibo and Fei came holding rose flowers..

Cheng was waiting for them.

He stands in front of Yibo “where the hell was you, Zhan was getting insane, he kept asking about his daughter.”

Yibo glare him and point down. “We were getting flowers.”

Cheng looks down and his expression change to soft with a smile….. he kneels down and softly said. “Hi pretty girl… do you know who I am.”

Fei clung to Yibo leg and looked shy and little scared… she looked at Yibo and Yibo gives her encouraging smile…

Fei nodes and lightly said “Yes…. my uncle.”

Cheng smiled and said. “Oh yes I am… now come with me your mama is waiting for you.”

He touches Fei’s cheeks.

Fei hold Cheng hand but she was not moving and looked at Yibo in scared manner “daddy” she raised her second hand.

Yibo looks at Cheng and said “I’m also going with her… she is…(Yibo quietly said) she is not comfortable around strangers.”

Cheng got angry “Because you make sure she never get out of the house and meet her family… just like Zhan.”

Yibo gets more guilty and said in composed voice “Low down your tone… you are scaring her…. I’m going with her that’s final.”

Cheng sighs in frustration “ok… come.”

When they enter the room Zhan was lying down quietly and Yibo felt his heart beat skip, Zhan always had an effect on him…

All Yibo wants to hold him and take away his all sorrows but he is the one who hurt him the most.

Cheng gently touch Zhan hand “Zhan they are here.”

Zhan winced and looked suddenly at Yibo and Fei.

He can’t believe Fei is here, she is alright… thank god thank god.

Tears were falling but he was smiling too… Fei looks so beautiful…. he felt his heart to fill with so much in happiness when he looked his daughter after so many years.

He tries to get up and move to stand and said “Fei” he beamed with happiness.

But Cheng stop him. “Zhan stay here… you can meet while laying down no hurried movement ok.”

Zhan glares him but Yibo bring his daughter towards him…

Zhan frowned at Yibo and he wanted to snatch his daughter from him but the way Fei was looking so scared and confused and the way she was holding Yibo neck.. like she wants to go nowhere but stay with him.

Zhan was stun how Yibo and Fei got close.

But he ignores that thought and raised his hand “Give her to me.”

Yibo tries to gently remove Fei’s hand and said “Come on sweetheart… it’s your mama, he wanted to talk to you! I told you before.”

Fei nodes.

Zhan cynically think what Yibo had told Fei about him.

Yibo sit down in the chair and Fei sit down while holding flowers in her hand she gives it to Zhan.

Zhan take them and said in excitement. “These are so beautiful just like you, thank you.”

Fei blushed and give her a shy smile.

Zhan gently smiled, his daughter was little nervous around him but he wants to think positive and holds Fei small hand and kissed her. “Hello Fei you know I’m your mama.”

Fei nodes “yessh daddy told me!”

Zhan laughed… she can talk too.. and so clear…”I miss you so much.” Zhan cry.

Fei looks at Yibo and he removes the hair from Fei face and nodes to her, Zhan got jealous that his daughter needs Yibo comfort, not his.

Cheng phone rings and he told them he will come in a moment.

When they were alone…

Yibo told Fei “Fei tell mama to not cry cause you will meet him regularly.”

Fei intently looked at Zhan and touch his face and wiped them “no cry mama… i will come regg…. regg daddy what you said.”

Yibo and Zhan laughed and told her the correct word.

Zhan touches her face “Can I hug you….. can mama hug you please?”

Yibo look away as it was too much of pain that he can’t see in Zhan’s voice.

Fei nodes and hugged him.

Zhan close his eyes and try to embrace the moment fully in his memory…. he smell his daughter baby shampoo hair, he felt he is in heaven…

After a few minutes talk… Fei get a little comfortable and asked him. “mama where were you?”

Yibo and Zhan got alert and looked each other…

But Yibo told Fei. “Fei I told you, mama was sick so that’s why he is not living with us.”

Zhan glared at him and stay quiet, then mother and daughter asked various questions and Zhan learned so many things about Fei…

But one thing was constant how Fei loved Yibo so much… even Yibo loves looked genuine to her…… Zhan got worried…. what he will do now.

Fei was little sleepy at one point and Zhan notice that.

“You can lie down with me…’ Zhan asked in hope full voice.

Again Fei looked at Yibo and Yibo happily node… when Fei was sleeping after few minutes.

Zhan couldn’t stop himself and asked in anger. “How she get close to you when you were keen to hate her from the start because of me.”

Yibo looks guilty and said “I know you have every reason to doubt me but Zhan I just realized I always loved her but was cowered to feel it later… hell I even did so many horrible things to you. Zhan, please forgive me… punish me however you want…. but just take me out of this guilt.”

Zhan got emotional too.

“How should I forgive you…. tell me Yibo how.. or should I address you, sir, because I’m a slut and slut never say your name and I’m scared you will never bring Fei to me like you did with me in prison. I waited daily, called you multiple time that you will bring her anytime, you made a promise with me SIR.” he said in sarcasm.

Yibo eyes filled with tears. “Please Zhan… don’t call me sir… don’t.. it’s killing me… I’m sorry I can’t fulfilled my promise but believe me. I was told that Fei was gone to meet you monthly… that’s what I was told, my mom. I know it’s my mistake to give her Fei responsibility and I’m paying for it but you don’t need to worry about ever Fei is your daughter… she will meet you daily.”

Zhan flinched when Yibo told about Carmen.

“How you can leave my daughter under your evil mother care… she try to hurt Fei when she was only a baby no wonder what she had done to her without our presence.”

Yibo winced to like he remember something but he didnt said a word.. then he told Zhan.

“Thats why me and Fei are going to live somewhere else.. you just get better then i will look for a home.”

Zhan said in disgust “And why you think i will come with you.”

Yibo looked worried “I know you hate me… i hate myself too… but for god sake for Fei sake just give me a chance… a small chance… I promise on my dead sister…. i will give you so many happiness and so much love that you might not forget your painful memory but it at least my love will overcome that… I love you… i love you so much.”

Yibo tears were falling while he hold Zhan hand.

Zhan looked stunned…. how can he said that after all this time.

Zhan snatched his hand. “You love me??…… you want me to give you a chance?…. don’t you think I try to give that chance fuck I even love you when I shouldn’t and what you did to me… you beat the shit out of me that put me in a coma. I can’t fucking speak for weeks Yibo…. then you made fun of my love. I still remember your words .. you said to me that I’m a fool that if I ever think any man can fall in love with my ugly face and that was not enough you send me to jail in a humiliating manner that’s why should I give you a chance!”

Zhan at this time was crying bloodily.

Yibo tears were also falling down rapidly…

“I’m so sorry.. so so so sorry Zhan, I’m a monster. I know that, but I can’t live without Fei and now not without you…. I lost you one year ago because of my stupid revenge but I will not leave you…. look Fei (he pointed at her and Zhan looked down his daughter) she changed me…. she loves me and I love her more than anything but she misses so much too she was deprived of parents love and I know I’m fucking responsible for that… but for her sake give me a chance…. forgive me…. you can put me behind that bars but please give me this hope that you will give me a chance to make all this better.”

Yibo eyes were red with tears and joined his hand in begging position…

And Zhan was stun how he was begging him.

But he was more than confused than ever but he knew he can’t forgive him and surely not forget what happened to himself.
