Wang Yibo was parking his bike in front of a cafe where Haoxuan called him to meet. Haoxuan wasn’t feeling well after coming back from college trip and he doesn’t want to attend college today as well. He called Yibo to give his notes to him so he can submit it in a college.  He doesn’t want to face Jiyang for sometime.

 

Yibo was about to enter in a cafe but suddenly someone bumped into him. That middle age man immediately bowed while apologizing to Yibo in his worried voice.  Yibo shook his head and squatted down to collect the things that fell from middle man’s hand. He politely gave to him and that man smiled at Yibo and thanked him for his kindness.

 

?? : kid.. Do you know this building? It was here few years ago but i cant find it now..

 

He asked yibo while showing him a piece of paper in which the address of the building was written.  Yibo took that piece of paper without giving any attention to man’s face and saw that address. He smiled awkwardly before replying while looking at that man for first time.

 

Yibo : Umm.. This building dem– Uncle Shen! ?

 

That middle age man furrowed in confusion and tilted his head while thinking.

 

Mr. Shen : Yes ? Do you know me? I’m sorry but who are you?

 

Yibo smiled happily, his eyes were sparkling with happiness after seeing this man. He thought he wouldn’t able to see him ever again in his life but thankfully fate gave him chance to meet this angel again.

 

Yibo  : Uncle I’m Wang Yibo.. You were my neighbour when i was 12 years old. You saved my life when i was drowning in a lake. Remember?

 

He said with so much impatience, he desperately wanted him to remember all those things and middle age man’s eyes lit up in happiness making yibo smile even more.  Mr. Shen grabbed his shoulders and looked at him with proud.

 

Mr. Shen  : Yibo ? You have grown up well.. I didn’t recognise you. Aaiyaaa time flies very fast, you were so tiny few years ago but now.. Well I’m happy to see you again. I didn’t think you would remember me after all these years.

 

Yibo shook his head and replied in almost tears.

 

Yibo : How could i forget a person who saved my life.. I wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t come to help me.

 

Mr. Shen shook his head and said something which made Yibo furrowed in confusion.

 

Mr. Shen : you should thank that silly little boy for that. Oh!  by the way, how is your friend now. Last time i saw you guys in front of the lake. You guys argued on something. Well, i wanted to tell you to cherish your friend, he was ready to risk his life for you that time.

 

Yibo widened his eyes after listening the last line and grabbed middle man’s shoulders in desperation and asked

 

Yibo  : What do you mean uncle ? Are you talking about Xiao Zhan? He was ready to risk his life for me?

 

Mr. Shen furrowed in confusion and nodded his head while telling him.

 

Mr. Shen : Yes he was Xiao Zhan…

 

Yibo : Tell me clearly and everything. What happened that day?!

 

*Flashback

Mr. Shen was going to leave this city for his business purpose, it was his last day here and he decided to draw this beautiful lake scenary before saying goodbye to his favourite place. Hid wife was sitting beside him and watching him drawing.

 

But then they heard someone’s crying voice. Without wasting anytime they turned their face left side and saw a little boy who was tying himself with a rope and the other end of the rope was tied up with a tree but that knot wasn’t very tight and anyone could guess that knot was tied by this little boy in a hurry.

 

Zhan : I- Need to save him.. I need to– I’m coming Yibo- wait — wait for me.

 

They ran toward him when they saw he started running toward the lake while crying. Mr. Shen stopped him and Zhan  started releasing his grip to save yibo who was still trying his best to keep struggling alone.  Zhan started screaming on Mr Shen.

 

Zhan : LEAVE ME I NEED TO SAVE HIM!! LEAVE ME!!

 

They both looked at the lake and widened their eyes when husband wife saw someone was struggling in a water. Mr. Shen immediately ran toward the lake and jumped into the lake to save Yibo. His wife was tightly holding Zhan to stop him from going there. Zhan was uncontrollably screaming in her arms and he was keep trying to release himself from her grip but he was just a child.

 

When Mrs. Shen saw his husband successfully saved Yibo, she released Zhan and he immediately ran toward Yibo with his crying face.

 

Zhan : ” Yibo are you — are you okay? I’m sorry, i didn’t mean–

 

Yibo looked at him with hatred and pushed him hard before saying..

 

Yibo : Its over between us.. Don’t talk to me again ”

 

Flashback end

 

Mr. Shen : If we didn’t stop him that day, he would have died with you. Tying himself with a tree to save you from drowning was an excellent idea for 12 years old boy but he made that knot on the tree in a hurry and if he would have jumped into the lake, I’m sure that knot would have loosened and he would have died with you in that lake.

 

Yibo’s eyes were wide opened, he was too shocked to say anything. He thought Zhan ran away and left him alone in a lake for dying but after knowing the whole truth he was beyond shocked.

 

Yibo : W-Why didn’t- you tell me this before. ?

 

Mr. Shen sighed in defeat and started speaking again.

 

Mr. Shen : I had to leave the city that day and i didn’t wanted to interfere in your matter, i thought he would tell you this. I’m glad I came here, now you know how did i find you there.

 

Yibo clenched his fist and gritted his teeth before saying..

 

Yibo : Nice to meet you again Uncle but I’m sorry, i need to go somewhere.

 

After saying that he started running toward the university leaving Mr shen and bike there. He also forgot that he was here to meet Haoxuan. All he wanted to meet Zhan that time.

 

He reached near the lecture room and saw Zhan was talking with Yuchen. He picked up his pace and went there as soon as possible. He grabbed his collar and punched on his face as hard as he could.

 

Zhan looked up with his angry eyes but widened his eyes in shock as well as in confusion and screamed on his face.

 

Zhan  : WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!??

 

Yibo was breathing hard and he harshly grabbed Zhan collar and pulled Zhan toward him making him more shocked.

 

Yibo : Why the hell you hide that from me!!???

 

Yibo was looking directly into Zhan’s eyes, his eyes were showing pain, regret, sadness and hate at the same time. Zhan started feeling concerned about yibo. He was wondering what made him yibo like this.

 

Zhan : What are you talking abo—

 

Yibo : All those years, i was thinking that you left me in that lake for dying.  I was hating you to the core of my heart for that. I hated you that you didn’t try even for a bit. When– When…you were ready to save me by putting your own life on r-risk.

 

Yibo’s voice cracked at last and his tear fell from his eyes.  Zhan widened his eyes listening this and started thinking from where Yibo got to know that. People started gathering to see what was happening.

 

Zhan  : How did y–

 

Yibo : Why the F*ck you didn’t tell me !!!!!!???

 

Zhan flinched when he screamed with his teary face. His eyes became red and his hands were trembling from anger and regret.  Zhan felt bad to see yibo like this. This is one of the main reason why he didn’t want to tell him the whole truth. Zhan gulped hard to control his desire to cry right now.

 

Zhan  : It wouldn’t have changed the fact that i pushed you in a lake. It was my fa—

 

Yibo : I told you zhan.. I never blamed you for that. I hated you because i thought you left me there. I just wanted to see you there with me, cry for me and scream for help. I hated you because i thought you didn’t even tr- but i was wrong. I was wrong all these time, i was blaming and accusing you for the things you never did. And making myself fool in front of you!!!

 

Zhan’s heart ached when he heard that. He couldn’t stop his tears from falling.

 

Zhan : I tried to tal—

 

Yibo : I ruined our friendship  for something which was just my imagination. Every time i cursed you, punched you and blamed you for the something you never did and you never spoken a single word for your self. You never told me truth and quietly listened and tolerated my sh*tty behaviour.  WHY!!?? WAS IT FUNNY TO YOU TO SEE ME HATING YOU FOR NO REASON??!!

 

Zhan looked around and saw his friend, Yuchen and everyone else was watching them with their confused face. He grabbed Yibo’s hand and yanked it hard to release himself from his grip.

 

Zhan : We will talk about it later.  We have lecture to attend right now.

 

Yibo saw him with his painful eyes, he wanted to scream and say so many things to him but zhan wasn’t ready to listen and thinking about lecture.  Yibo pushed him hard and left from there without saying a single word.

 

Cheng immediately went toward Zhan who was staring at Yibo’s back with his hurtful eyes. Cheng checked his face and saw his lips were bleeding.

 

Cheng : You okay?  What happened to him this time?

 

Zhan shook his head and laughed bitterly.

 

Zhan : nothing it just another manic episode of his.  Let’s go we are getting late for lecture.

 

He didn’t notice Yuchen was there and smirking while thinking something.

After hanging out with his friends Zhan came back to his dorm. He thought Yibo would be here but he wasn’t present there. Zhan was pretending to be okay when his mind was continuously thinking about Yibo. His eyes was searching for him for the whole day but there was no sign of either Yibo or Haoxuan.

 

Zhan sighed for god knows how many times in this day. It was already evening and he was getting worried for Yibo. He took out his phone and searched Haoxuan’s number to call him. After few rings Haoxuan picked up his call and Zhan immediately asked without any formal greetings.

 

Call

 

Zhan : Is yibo with you?

 

Haoxuan : No,he didn’t even meet me this morning. Is he not with you?

 

Zhan : He le–

 

Zhan was going to tell him but suddenly the door opened revealing Yibo with his tired face and swollen eyes. Yibo went toward the bathroom without giving any attention to Zhan and locked it when zhan was staring at him only.

 

Zhan : I’ll call you later. He’s back don’t worry.

 

He cut the call, went toward the door to lock it from inside so Yubin couldn’t enter and disturb them. He sat on his bed while biting his lips in nervousness.  He didn’t know how to explain this to Yibo but he won’t do this mistake again. In the past he left Yibo to think whatever he was thinking and let him ruin their precious friendship because of a misunderstanding.

 

But this time he won’t lose him again. He won’t give up on him. He will solve everything between them at any cost.

After waiting for like 2 minutes Yibo opened the door and came out from the washroom.  Zhan stood up and went toward him with his nervous face.

 

Zhan : Yibo, I can expl–

 

Yibo :  Back off.. I don’t want to talk to you.

 

He was about to leave but zhan hugged him from behind and stopped him from going anywhere.

 

Zhan : You cant leave..  You have to listen to me. I won’t let you ruin our relations again.

 

Yibo stopped in his place after listening that. He wanted to move out of this room because he was so ashamed to face zhan after everything he had done to him because of misunderstanding.  He was regretting and blaming himself for not letting him speak when zhan wanted to speak.

 

Zhan : Its not your fault. Stop blaming yourself.  You did all those things because i never let you know the truth.  If i was in your place,i would have done the same.

 

Yibo tears started falling again which he had able to stopped with so much effort. He knows, Zhan knows him more than anyone and he can read his face and why yibo is behaving like this. Even after the distance between them, it wouldn’t stop them from understanding each other more and more.

 

He turned around to face Zhan and saw his teary eyes.  He harshly grabbed his arms and asked again..

 

Yibo : Then why did you hide that from me?

 

Zhan gulped hard and his tears fell when he smiled bitterly.

 

Zhan : Because it was too late. You weren’t ready to see my face after that accident.  You were hating me and as a child, i was hating you for not listening my side.  I made new friends to make you jealous do that you can come back to me but you didn’t, instead you hated me more.  Soon enough we got busy in our own life, our friendship ended totally.  But suddenly you started your childish revenge game on me and i did the same as you. But when  i realised why you hated me, and what you wanted from me , i thought i should tell you my side but it was too late, we had come so far Yibo.  If i would have told you what happened that day, it would only hurt you more. So i decided to hide it from you.

 

Yibo clenched his jaw and tightened his grip on zhan making him feel so much pain but he endured thinking its nothing in compare to what yibo must be feeling right now.

 

Yibo  : Who are you to decide that for me? Didn’t i deserve to know the truth?  You wanted me to blame you for all my life?!!

 

Zhan smiled  sadly before speaking making Yibo’s heart melt.

 

Zhan :  I’m sorry… I preferred to hear your taunts rather than seeing what i have seen today. I didn’t wanted you to blame yourself because it was my fault for not telling earlier.  You can–

 

Yibo cut him off by smashing his lips on Zhan making zhan’s eyes wide open in a shock. He thought yibo was still angry but suddenly he thought he become horny.  Yibo kissed him harshly and bite on his making zhan yelped in pain. Yibo stopped and pulled back to see Zhan’s face. His eyes got softened when he saw his bleeding lips, he rubbed his thum on it gently making zhan hissed in pain and replied.

 

Yibo : It was my fault too for not letting you speak earlier.  Stop blaming yourself too.

 

Zhan blinked few times and thinking what just happened?  Yibo kissed him between their argument? “Wow we really got changed ” zhan thought but then yibo grabbed his wrist and made him sit on the bed.

 

Zhan got confused and his was following yibo who was looking for something. Yibo grabbed the first aid box, came to zhan and sat beside him. Zhan was shocked that he managed to solve everything between them this easily.? He thought yibo would throw more tantrums but it was beyond his expectations.

 

Yibo gently grabbed his jaw and started applying medicines on his lips. Zhan was looking at him with his uncontrollable heart beat but suddenly he felt stinging pain and he hissed moving his head back a little.

 

Zhan  : be gentle..  It hurts like hell.

 

Yibo grabbed his jaw again and replied with his expressionless face..

 

Yibo  : You deserve this for hiding things from me..

 

Zhan opened his mouth in shock and then spoken with his dramatic irritated face ..

 

Zhan  : At least, I told  you i didn’t left you. Remember?  When you got injured in a middle of the forest?

 

Yibo sighed and shook his head in disbelief. Even after all these Zhan didn’t forget to be more dramatic.

 

Yibo  : I thought, you were saying this to make me feel good.

 

Zhan scoffed while pointing his finger on him and said it with his fake hurtful face.

 

Zhan : See? You didn’t even believe me. But how you got to know about this?

 

Yibo smiled a little to see zhan’s normal behaviour back and started applying medicines gently while speaking…

 

Yibo  : I met Mr Shen …he told me everything..  He is back for few days.

 

Zhan widened his eyes in shock..

 

Zhan  : Really??  I should meet him. I didn’t even thank him for saving yo– i mean our life.

 

Yibo tried to stop himself from smiling. His love for Zhan has increased after learning about the truth.  Now he cant imagine his life without zhan, he don’t want to imagine his life without him. He want to protect and cherish this naughty bunny all his life.  All his life he stayed away from zhan because of a misunderstanding.

 

The amount of emptiness he felt without zhan, no one could imagine. He felt Jealous when he saw Zhan made new friends and he started mistreating Zhan for that. He started his revenge game to satisfy his ego but his heart always longed for Zhan. And Zhan tolerated his sh*tty behaviour and his cruel taunts for the sake of Yibo. He cant find anyone like Zhan in his whole life.

 

But suddenly he realised, he punched him really hard after their ‘first time’. He regretted making harsh move on Zhan. He looked at him with his soft gaze and asked almost in a whisper while touching his lips.

 

 

Yibo  : Is it still hurting?

 

Zhan smirked and came near his left ear to whisper…

 

Zhan  :  Ask this to your self yibo.  Is your backbone fine after 4 rounds?

 

Yibo blood rushed toward his manhood and he cursed under his breath that zhan has the power to make him turn on just with few simple words.  His aura darkened making Zhan’s heart skipped a beat.

 

Yibo grabbed his neck pulled him a little to see zhan’s face withhis hooded eyes before speaking against zhan’s lips.

 

Yibo  : I left you earlier because it was your first time. But now I ‘m regretting it. I should have f*cked you till you get unconscious.

 

Zhan gulped hard and felt his cheeks were getting hot. Yibo never failed to make him feel butterflies in his stomach.  He got so much turned on.  F*ck the rules, Zhan wants Yibo right now.

 

He was about to smash his lips on Yibo but then they heard knocking voice..

 

Yubin : Zhan Zhan ?? Are you there? Why do you locked the door?

 

Yibo cursed in frustration and Zhan sighed too. They both looked at each other in defeat and Yibo  said..

 

Yibo  : I’m starting to hate Yubin for no reason.

 

Zhan chuckled and got up from his place to open the door.  Yubin looked at him with his confused face when zhan  opened the door.

 

Zhan  : I locked it by mistake.

 

Yubin entered in a dorm and found yibo siting there calmly. He widened his eyes realising something and pointed his finger at both of them making them shocked..

 

Yubin : Don’t tell me you two were……
