YRMD-64 Never Thought Of Leaving You

“To kill… kill her?” Zoe’s voice was trembling.

“No, she’s wounded and bleeding. We’ll leave it to God and do nothing.” Zixuan pulled her over. “Just grab your bag and leave. Make sure you don’t know anything about it, or you’ll just get noticed.”

“Yes.” Zoe nodded hurriedly, but her face was a little pale.

“You look horribly white.” Zixuan reached up to her face. “I’ll give you some pinch. That would make you rosy. Bear the pain.”

Zoe endured the pain and allowed Zixuan to pinch her face, and sure enough, her face looked a bit rosy.

Zixuan was older than Zoe after all, and had more life experience than Zoe, so she was calmer.

She asked Zoe to take her arm, and they walked out of the office pretending to shoot the breeze, and then left the top floor by the elevator, Zoe was relieved,

“Zixuan, let’s go back to Beijing.” Zoe was really scared.

“If we leave so sudden, it will be too obvious. Brother Yibo will think we did that.” Zixuan patted Zoe’s hands. “Just remember you didn’t do this. She fell on the floor herself. They would suspect you of doing it if you panic.”

“Take a deep breath and relax, Breathe again and relax.”

Zoe nodded and listened to Zixuan and followed her to make herself relaxed.

“So where are we going?”

“Just go to a cafe downstairs and have some coffee.” Zixuan suggested.

While Zixuan and Zoe were at the coffee shop, Yibo ended the meeting and headed for the office, followed by Rovena and Fanxing.

Rovena pushed open the office door. Yibo entered the room, glanced around but did not see Fei.

“Where’s Fei?” Yibo asked.

“Mr. Wang, I will ask Anavi.” said Rovena.

Yibo nodded and walked around his office. Out of the corner of his eye, he was caught by the pink figure on the sofa.

Yibo frowned and hurried to the sofa, Sure enough, he saw little Fei lying on the gray carpet.

And what shocked him was that the bloody flower pattern on the carpet grew large, which made his heart twitch.

He knelt down quickly and cradled Fei carefully in his arms.

He gave Fei a gentle shake, “Baby, wake up. Can you hear me…?”

Fei still kept her eyes tightly closed. There was a scab of blood on her forehead, from which the blood flowed, staining her long, thick eyelashes. Her pure white face was also stained red with blood, making his heart ache.

“Fanxing, get the car ready!” Yibo shouted.

Fanxing, who was standing by, was stunned, and he recollected his sense by Yibo’s shout, “Yes!”

Yibo picked Fei up and hurried out.

When Rovena saw Fei injured and unconscious in Yibo’s arms, she widened her eyes in shock.

Yibo didn’t look at her, but she was shivering because of the cold aura emanating from Yibo, as if it were the arctic wind.

Rovena followed Yibo and went to the elevator first and pressed to the first floor.

“Mr. Wang, what’s the matter?” Rovena’s throat felt dry when she spoke.

“I want to know what happened, too!” Yibo’s eyes were solemn, “I asked you to find someone to look after her. Is that how you look after her? Secretary Rovena, it seems that it isn’t important to you!”

“Mr. Wang, I am the one to be blamed for this, and I will accept the punishment.” Rovena didn’t pass the buck, but took the responsibility.

“I don’t have time to deal with you now.” When Yibo saw the elevator open, he stepped out immediately.

Rovena followed, “Mr. Wang, let me go with you to the hospital.”

Yibo didn’t say anything. He just tightened his eyebrows. Who the hell had hurt Fei?

If he found that person out, he wouldn’t let it go.

Hospital
°°°°°°°°°°°

Out of Emergency Room.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Wang,” Fanxing served Yibo a cup of warm water, “She’ll be all right.”

Yibo sat down in the chair. Instead of taking the water Fanxing offered him, he put his hands on his forehead and felt agitated.

Never had he been so frightened. It seemed as if an endless abyss was going to swallow up all his coolness, restraint, and reason.

Yibo didn’t want to talk, so he closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down. He couldn’t get things messy now.

Fanxing just stood there and said nothing.

He had been with Yibo for many years and had a good understanding of his habits.

He was upset now, so what he wanted was to be quiet, so Fanxing did not disturb him.

After Rovena finished the formalities, she came over and saw Yibo with his hands on his forehead and his handsome face was blocked, with his expression being invisible.

As Rovena was about to speak, Fanxing gestured her to keep silent.

Rovena immediately stopped and stood quietly beside Fanxing.

As the minutes passed, Yibo remained in that position, calm but anxious.

It was like he was going to be torn apart…

He seemed to see his elder brother lying in a hospital bed covered in blood…

He hated this feeling very much. It made him feel so weak and he could do nothing but to wait…

He could only passively accept the results, even the bad ones….

His elder brother had been in a coma for years, and he was afraid Fei would be like this.

Suddenly, the emergency room was pushed open by the nurse.

Yibo immediately stood up and asked, “How is my daughter?”

“You’re Xiao Fei’s dad?” The nurse looked at Yibo, who nodded. “The blood bank is in want of type AB today. Do you have some friends or relatives who have the same blood type? The girl is in need of it.”

“My blood type is AB. You can take mine.”

His white shirt, stained with the blood of Fei, was darker now, but it was still frightening.

“Come with me.” The nurse took Yibo to the blood collection room. “But the patient still needs 600CC of blood. You can’t do it alone, Ask for one more to transfer the blood.”

Fanxing was worried about Yibo so he followed him.

Yibo sat on a high stool, his sleeves pulled up above his elbows, exposing his strong forearms.

The nurse fastened a rubber tube on him, disinfected his arm and pushed a long thin needle into his blue blood vessel….

“Nurse, take 600CC from me. I just need my daughter to be fine.” Yibo said to the nurse.

“400CC at most.” The nurse said.

“I’m in good health. I can take 600CC.” Yibo suggest.

The nurse looked at him for a moment. “It’s not good for you.”

“Just take it, and I’ll sign that it has nothing to do with you.” Yibo insisted, “600CC won’t kill me anyway. My daughter’s life is more important than mine.”

“Mr. Wang, I have talked to our human resources department about the situation. I am collecting volunteers and I will be here soon. I understand you want to save your daughter, but you don’t need to put yourself at risk. Your life and Fei’s life are important!”

“Shut up. I can save my own daughter.” Yibo cut him off.

“Mr. Wang, don’t be so… I don’t know how to explain to President Qiren.” Fanxing felt weak on his feet.

“I don’t have to tell anyone before I save my daughter.” Yibo said to the nurse, “I will sign the liability waiver.”

“Mr. Wang…” Fanxing was about to cry.

Under Yibo’s insistence, the nurse could only take 600 CC. She suggested Yibo to take a rest on the bed, but Yibo didn’t want to. He wanted to stay with Fei, but he was unable to walk now and felt dizzy.

Fanxing helped Yibo to sit on a chair beside him. His face turned a little pale, especially his thin lips.

“Mr. Wang, why do you have to do this?” Fanxing looked at Yibo and felt upset.

“She’s my daughter. If I don’t save her, who can be the one?” Yibo closed his eyes to have a rest.

“I have asked someone to buy some nutrient porridge for you.” Fanxing paused and then added, “It will do good for your health.”

Yibo got up slowly after taking a brief rest. He still felt dizzy, but he forced himself to walk.

“Mr. Wang, I’ve got Secretary Rovena over there. Please take a break.” Fanxing’s brow furrowed, looking worried.

“What’s that look on your face? I am not dying.” Yibo stepped forward. “Let’s go.”

Fanxing wanted to help Yibo, but he dared not, for fear that Yibo would scold him. But Yibo was tired and sweat oozed out of his forehead.

“Mr. Wang, I will help you even if you fire me.” Fanxing braved to help support Yibo.

Yibo wanted to push him away, but he stopped because of what Fanxing had said. His thin lips lifted slightly and leaned on Fanxing,

When they got to the emergency room and waited a while, Fei was finally wheeled out.

Yibo was so excited that he almost fainted when he stood up too suddenly.

Yibo stretched out his hand to hold the wall.

Fanxing held him up and looked worried. “Mr. Wang, are you all right? Would you like to have a check?”

“I’m fine.” Yibo steadied himself, “Don’t make a fuss.”

Fanxing was just worried about Yibo’s health.

“I heard that Mr. Wang took 600CC of blood to save his daughter. This fatherly love is touching, but health is also very important. When you go home, you must take good care of your heath and eat more nutrient food.” The doctor felt that Yibo was a responsible father who would rather hurt himself than seeing his child get hurt.

“Doctor, I’m all right. How’s my daughter?” Yibo held his breath, trying to ignore the dizziness.

The doctor began to talk about Fei, “Fortunately, she was sent to the hospital in time, and has gotten the blood transfusion. The child is out of danger now. As for the wound on the forehead, it got a few stitches, and it would get healed.”

“Thank you, doctor.” Yibo said. “Would it leave a scar?”

“We sewed it with very fine threads, and there will be a small scar, but it is on the forehead, which the bangs can cover it. Besides, the medical cosmetology now is so developed that it can be removed.” laughed the doctor.

“Good.” Yibo kept that in mind, “I will go to see my daughter now.”

The doctor nodded, “Go ahead.”

Yibo walked to Fei’s private room.

The nurse had checked her and covered her up. When the nurse saw Yibo coming into the ward, she left the room, leaving the quiet room for them.

Yibo looked at Fei lying in the hospital bed with her eyes tightly closed. He could not see her smiling eyes like grapes, nor could he hear her calling him “Daddy”. Her face was as white as paper because she had lost too much blood, just like a porcelain doll that would be broken at the touch.

“Mr. Wang, take a seat.” Fanxing moved the chair behind Yibo.

Yibo sat down but never took his eyes off Fei, Fanxing was standing behind him all the time. Rovena handed Fanxing the nutrient porridge she bought.

“Mr. Wang, you took a lot of blood just now. Have some food.”

“I don’t want to eat it.”

“You can’t stand it. Who’s going to take care of Fei if you fall ill?” Fanxing had to use Fei to lure Yibo into eating.

Yibo looked back and looked at the bowl of porridge in Fanxing’s hand. He didn’t have much appetite and said, “Put it down now. I’ll eat it later.”

“Mr. Wang…”

“Do I listen to you or you listen to me?” Yibo glared at the talkative Fanxing.

Fanxing hung his head slightly and looked grave. “Mr. Wang, I’m really worried about you.”

“All right, I’ll eat it.” Yibo understood Fanxing’s kindness, “I really have no appetite now. I’ll eat when I’m hungry.”

Fanxing then put the porridge on the bedside.

“Secretary Rovena.” Yibo called Rovena.

She stepped forward and asked, “What do you need, Mr. Wang?”

“Who did you ask to look after Fei, and why did she get hurt?” Yibo wanted to find out what had happened.

“I asked Anavi from the Secretary Department to take care of her. She said she had visited Fei from time to time, but she had a stomachache and went to the toilet for a short time… and then it happened.” Rovena explained the situation simply, “Mr. Wang, I’m sorry, but it was my negligence that let the little baby get hurt. I will accept punishment.”

“We’ll talk about it when Fei wakes up.” Yibo wanted to ask Fei about the situation before making a decision. “You can go back.”

“Mr. Wang, let me stay with you, so that I can take care of you. And I can also run errands.” If there was anything wrong with Yibo, Fanxing would feel guilty.

“I’ll stay, too.” Rovena said.

“Fanxing would stay. You can go back.” Yibo reached out to hold Fei’s hand, and then the phone rang.

Yibo pulled out his cell phone and saw it was Zixuan calling.

“Brother Yibo…” Zixuan called to him sweetly. “Did you forget to invite me to dinner?”

“Zixuan, I’m a little busy right now.”

“What? What’s the matter? Can I help you?” Zixuan asked kindly. Actually, she knew it was because of Fei.

“Fei is injured and in the hospital. I have to be there with her.” Yibo told the truth and got upset.

“Fei got hurt? Wasn’t she fine when I left? How could she get hurt? Is it serious? How’s she now?” Zixuan asked a lot of questions.

“I don’t know how she was hurt, but she’s out of danger now, though she’s still in a coma, I’ll ask her what happened when she wakes up. You don’t need to worry.” Yibo softly sighed.

Zixuan, of course, was worried. She had a guilty conscience, “I’m relieved that she is out of danger now. Zoe and I will come to the hospital immediately.”

“You don’t need to come. Fei needs peace and quiet. I’ll just stay with her.” Yibo refused, “You can have dinner with Zoe. I will treat you to dinner next time.”

“Fei is hurt and needs your company now. Take me to dinner any day. Zoe and I will go to the hotel first,” Zixuan said, pretending to be reasonable, “Don’t worry about it too much.”

“Good. Take care.” Yibo then hung the phone.

Zixuan then felt relieved. Zoe beside her quickly asked, “Zixuan, what did my brother say? Does he know I pushed Fei over?”

“Remember you didn’t push Fei.” Zixuan said to her, hoping she would self-hypnotize.

“Yes, yes, I didn’t push her.” Zoe nodded heavily, but she still was scared.

“Fei is not awake. Your brother doesn’t know anything yet.” Zixuan put her phone down and looked at Zoe. “Even if she wakes up and says something, you just don’t admit it. I’ll help you if I can, Zoe. But you have to keep calm, or we will suffer.”

“I’ll be leaving you if that happens, Zoe, and don’t blame me for doing that.”

“I know, Zixuan, I’ll do what you say.” Zoe clenched her hands. “So can we go back tomorrow?”

So if Yibo heard anything from Fei, at least she was back in Beijing with her parents around her. That would be better than to be alone in Chongqing being scolded by her brother.

Yibo at the hospital saw it was off work now. He had to tell Zhan so he wouldn’t pick Fei up at the kindergarten.

Besides, he was Fei’s mother and had the right to know that his daughter was injured and hospitalized.

Yibo dialed Zhan’s number and said, “I took Fei away.”

Zhan pinched his phone and said in a distant tone, “What did you want to do? Why did you take Fei away this time?”

“Do you have time to come to the Sanjivani hospital? We are in Room 601, the first inpatient department.” Yibo just told him.

Zhan’s heart suddenly tightened. “What’s wrong?”

“Fei was injured.” Yibo could only tell the truth.

“How did she get hurt?” Zhan asked him.

“It’s a long story. Come to the hospital, please.” Yibo added, “Be careful on the road.”

Zhan said he would be right back and hung up the phone.

Yibo looked at Fei and prayed in his heart that she would wake up soon.

Soon, Zhan arrived at Room 601. He pushed open the door and walked to Yibo.

Zhan took one look at Fei lying lifeless in the hospital bed and asked him, “Why did Fei get hurt?”

“It’s my fault, Zhan. It’s my fault for not taking good care of her.” Yibo stood up, blaming himself.

Zhan’s eyes turned red. “She was doing well in school. Why did you take her away? Since you can’t take care of her, why did you take her away!”

“I’m sorry.” Yibo had never apologized to anyone, but now he lowered his noble head.

And this was Zhan, his wife, the person he loved, the mother of his daughter, so he was not ashamed, and even thought that apology was not enough.

“Does apology help? Could time travel back and you could let Fei avoid hurt?” Zhan’s nose was sore and there was a lump in his throat.

Zhan said in a choked voice, “You know the saying if it wasn’t your child, you won’t be sad. Just because Fei is not your daughter, you won’t care about her!”

“Who said she is not my daughter?” Yibo replied, wringing his long eyebrows, which made Zhan surprised.

Yibo bit his thin lips and then said, “I always treat Fei like my own daughter. It kills me when I see her being hurt. Don’t you think your words are too sharp?”

“Yibo, I know you have grudges against me, but you can vent your anger at me. Why do you hurt Fei? She’s so young; how can you bear to do that?” Zhan bit his lip and kept staring at him with red eyes. “I don’t accept your apologies!”

“Calm down, Zhan. I know it kills you too, but I’m no better than you. How I wish the one who gets hurt was me, not her!” Yibo looked at Zhan, who was trying to hold back his tears, and felt more painful in his heart.

“The doctor said Fei is out of danger. She would wake up. We will watch her together until she wakes up.”

Zhan was terrified at the thought of little Fei lying wounded. He could not calm down, and was even agitated, He asked him sharply, “It would be fine? You don’t know how hard it is! Yibo, I don’t want to see you. Please go out right now!”

“Zhan…” Yibo reached for his shoulder to soothe him, but he didn’t expect Zhan to do this…

Zhan did not want Yibo to touch him, so he instinctively pushed him away. As a result, Yibo fell to the ground and knocked over the chair behind him.

Zhan was stunned that Yibo would fall on the ground. His eyes widened with shock. He looked at his hands in disbelief. He didn’t push him hard.

How could someone as strong as Yibo would fall on the ground?

When he opened the door, Fanxing’s face turned pale as he saw Yibo was on the ground.

He hurried up to help Yibo up. But Yibo refused him, “I will do it myself.”

“Yibo, stop acting.” Zhan could only think so. Otherwise, with Yibo’s physical strength, he could not push him down.

Yibo took a deep breath and stretched out his hand to hold the chair to stand up.

“Yibo, are you trying to scare me?” Zhan looked at Yibo standing in front of him, his white shirt stained with blood. “Do you think I won’t blame you for making me feel guilty?”

“You can beat me as you want, scold me or anything else. I have no complaint.” Yibo looked at Zhan’s eyelashes, which were tinted with tears.

“What’s the use of that!” Zhan pursed his lips and looked away, but he could not stop the tears from falling down.

Zhan stubbornly lifted his hand and wiped it away, not wanting to let others see his shedding tears.

Fanxing was upset to see they were having quarrels, especially when he saw Yibo being wronged.

“Mrs. Wang, you misunderstand Mr. Wang. Fei’s injury was not caused by Mr. Wang.” Fanxing saw that Yibo had no intention of explaining himself.

“He caused that indirectly.” Zhan stubbornly believed that Fei’s injury had something to do with Yibo. “If he hasn’t taken her away and left her alone in the office, this wouldn’t have happened.”

“I’m Fei’s mother, and I’ve worked hard to raise her since she was a baby, I love her and I don’t want her to get hurt. It hurts me ten times as much as it hurts her. Can you feel it? Don’t advise me to be generous since you haven’t been through what I’ve been. through!”

Zhan thought of what she had suffered and why Fei had come into this world… he owed her. He owed the child for the rest of his life.

“Mrs. Wang, you really misunderstand Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang picked Fei up from kindergarten for some errands and then asked her to play with him, but…”

“Okay, Fanxing, get out of here.” Yibo cut him off. “This is between us, so don’t interfere into this.”

“Mr. Wang, there is something I must tell Mrs. Wang.” Fanxing was unmoved and continued, “Fei wanted to go to Mr. Wang’s office and went to work with her daddy.”

“Mr. Wang took good care of Fei himself when he went to the office. But there was an important meeting in the afternoon, so he asked a secretary to take care of him. But the secretary had a stomachache and went to the toilet. And the accident happened at that time!”

“Mr. Wang was so angry that he wanted to kill people when he saw Fei get hurt. We rushed Fei to the hospital, but Fei lost a lot of blood. The hospital was in need of Fei’s blood type and Mr. Wang took 600CC of blood and gave it to Fei.”

“A person can only take 400CC at most, but in order to save Fei, Mr. Wang insisted on taking 600CC regardless of the advice of the nurse. The excessive blood drawing caused Mr. Wang to feel dizzy, so Mrs. Wang, you did not use much strength to push Mr. Wang, but he fell.”

“Mrs. Wang, Mr. Wang put Fei’s life much more important than his own. He hasn’t had a sip of water since Fei got hurt. The doctor advised him to have some nutrient food, but he had not yet eaten anything.”

“He loves Fei as much as you do, but you accused him so sharply. It’s not fair to Mr. Wang!” Fanxing then made a conclusion, “He really loves Fei, and this is really just an accident. We didn’t want it to happen, but it did, and what we should do now it to get Fei better as soon as possible.”

“That’s all. I’m going out.” Fanxing looked at Yibo, “Mr. Wang, I will be outside. If you need anything, just call me.”

Yibo nodded and watched as Fanxing turned to leave.

After Fanxing finished speaking, Zhan and Yibo did not speak for several minutes.

The room was very quiet and even the drop of needles could be heard.

Zhan had his back to Yibo, who kept staring at his straight and thin back.

Yibo then walked gently over to Zhan and stood behind him and wrapped him in his arms.

Zhan felt that he had fallen into a warm and solid embrace. He just lowered his eyelids and covered his starry eyes without refusing or struggling.

Zhan couldn’t deny that what Fanxing had said touched him a lot, especially when Yibo transferred his blood to Fei… He felt his restless heart calm down at last.

When Yibo saw that Zhan did not push him away, he smiled with satisfaction and said, “Zhan, I am responsible for Fei’s injury. I am sorry that I did not take good care of her.”

His sincere apology lingered in other ears.

When Zhan calmed down, he was not so indiscriminate or unreasonable.

“I was the one who should apologize. I was impulsive just now. I know how much you love Fei, and I shouldn’t have hurt you with these sharp words.” Zhan was really annoyed with himself for being irrational.

“It doesn’t matter. Mrs. Wang has every privilege in front of Mr. Wang.” Yibo held other in his arms and rested his chin on Zhan’s shoulder.

“Fei is hurt, and you are so close to each other, so it makes sense why are you so angry. I don’t blame you.” Yibo’s kind and generous answer made Zhan feel guiltier and he couldn’t say anything.

“It must hurt after all transferred so much blood.” Zhan’s eyes rested on his arm.

“I am strong. It doesn’t matter to transfer so little blood.” Yibo didn’t mind that.

“Do you think you are God? Don’t pretend to be strong. If you are really fine, you wouldn’t have fallen down when I gave you a gentle push.” Zhan hastily pulled down others hand, turned around, and looked him up and down. “Did you get hurt?”

As Yibo had been drawn much blood, Zhan was afraid that if he had pushed him hard, he would fall and hit the chair and get hurt.

“No.” Yibo took the opportunity to grasp Zhan’s hand. “Not angry anymore?”

“I shouldn’t have been angry with you.” Zhan sighed lightly, “I was so unreasonable. I’m sorry.”

“Well, we would all lose our temper. You don’t have to blame yourself.” Yibo raised his hand and stroked others hair, smoothing the hair over his ears. “It’s a good thing to vent your anger when you’re angry. It’s not good to hold it back.”

Zhan looked up at Yibo, whose hair was dimmed by the light. The light outlined his jawline, but softened his cold and handsome features.

“Yibo, why are you so nice and gentle to me when we are going to divorce?” Zhan’s heart ached as he thought of Yibo handing the divorce documents to him, “Do you want me to leave you?”

“Do you want to leave?” Yibo’s dark eyes were fixed on him closely, observing every subtle expression on his face.

Zhan pressed his lips tightly, hesitating….

“If you don’t feel happy with me, and if you have someone else in your heart, I don’t want to tie you to me. I won’t blame you for leaving me.” Yibo was serious. “I admit I don’t want you to leave, but as long as you’re happy, I think I can let you go.”

“Yibo, do you think I will be happy when you let go of me without asking me?” Zhan looked into his eyes. “My happiness is so imprudently determined by you?”

“I…” Yibo was struck dumb by others question.

“Yibo.” Zhan threw himself into Yibo’s arms and pressed his face against his chest. “Believe it or not, I never wanted to leave you…”

Yibo had pressed his thin, eager lips against Zhan’s, blocking his words with a hot, lingering kiss. He kissed him so eagerly that Zhan could not think and his mind went blank.

Zhan kissed him back, and Yibo seemed to be encouraged, kissed him so wildly that Zhan felt painful and uttered some noise, which softened his mind.

When they were almost out of breath, he let go of Zhan.

Zhan was so involved in his kiss that his eyes looked charming and alluring, so did Yibo’s.

“Say it again.” Yibo gasped, holding Zhan’s face.

“I said I never wanted to leave you.” Zhan’s watery eyes were bright, like the stars shining in the night sky.

Yibo pressed his forehead against Zhan’s forehead and blew his breath on his face. “If you think so, why tortured me so much… Zhan, you are bad.”

“What have I done to make you think so?” Zhan felt wronged, “Is that why you want me to divorce you?”

“I don’t want to just keep you by my side, while your heart belongs to someone else…” Yibo released his hand from others face and placed his finger on Zhan’s chest. “What I want to keep is your heart.”

Zhan wrapped his arms around Yibo’s neck and said, “My heart is so small that it can only hold you.”

There was a trace of surprise in Yibo’s eyes, and a gleam of joy, but he still didn’t dare to believe that.

“When did Mr. Wang become so unconfident?” Zhan reached out and grabbed Yibo’s fingers. “Are you still the Yibo who makes others fear?”

“All men are equal in love.” Yibo euphemistically admitted to being timid, “I’ve never been confident in front of you.”

“Only when Mr. Wang is confident can he keep Mrs. Wang.” Zhan smiled slightly.

“Naughty boy.” Yibo felt content at the moment.

Yibo smiled and kissed lightly on Zhan’s lips.

Zhan smiled back and gave him a big hug.

Just as they were glad to clear up the misunderstanding, out of the corner of their eyes they saw that Fei had woken up and was already sitting up and staring at them.

Zhan immediately let go of Yibo and was embarrassed to kiss him in front of Fei.

Fei immediately covered her eyes with her hands and smiled. “Dad, mom, I didn’t see anything. You don’t have to worry about me, just go ahead…”

When Zhan heard Fei say this, his face became very red and hot.

“Fei,” Zhan said, “You finally wake up. You freaked me out.”

“Fei, do you feel anything wrong or uncomfortable?” Yibo was also concerned her.

“Does your forehead hurt?” Zhan looked at the blood-stained white gauze, feeling distressed.

Yibo continued, “Are you hungry? Thirsty? Tell dad what you want and I’ll ask Uncle Fanxing to get it for you.”

Their concern made Fei feel the love from her parents. She was so happy, but she burst into tears.

“How to… Why are you crying?” When Zhan saw her crying, his heart ached.

“Do you feel hurt? I will call the doctor.” Yibo turned to leave.

But Fei took Yibo’s hand and said, “Dad, it doesn’t hurt. I’m crying for joy, can’t you see?”

Yibo was shocked, “Do you know your mother will feel sad for your crying?”

Fei reached for Zhan’s hand and she put his parents’ hands with hers together. “Mom and dad, I love you both,” she said, “I am so lucky to be your daughter.”

“We are also very happy to have you.” Yibo and Zhan smiled at each other.

Yibo then asked, “Fei, tell daddy how you got hurt?”

“I was being careless.” Fei lied.

Yibo looked at Fei. Her big, beautiful eyes looked back at him, very calm.

“Don’t be so careless in future.” Yibo reached over and rubbed her hair.

“I see, Sorry to let you worry about me. I will be more careful and protect myself in the future.” Fei admitted her “mistake”.

“Yes, protecting yourself is the most important thing.” Zhan agreed, holding Fei in his arms.

When Zhan looked at Yibo, he felt that he had wronged him. At that moment, he felt more self-condemned and discomfortable.

Yibo saw what Zhan was thinking. He extended his long arms and embraced both of them.

The picture of the three was very loving and warm.
