…….. IN THE LIBRARY…….

 

General Nie was waiting for His Excellency in the Library. As soon as Wangji heard that the General Nie wanted to meet him, he reached there without wasting any minute.    

 

“Greeting Your Majesty!” General Nie said while bowing respectfully.  

 

 

“Take your seat , General Nie” , Lan Wangji said while greeting him back.

 

 

“What brings you here General Nie?” Wangji asked.

 

 

“Your Majesty ! The Luo Clan spies opened their mouths and admitted that the Luo Clan had sent them to the Celestial Mountain to find some important information.” General Nie states but his face shows a different expression like their is something wrong.

 

 

“Does there is something else General Nie ”? Wangji asked seeing his expression.

 

 

“Yes … Your Majesty! And after confessing everything ……. he died”. General Nie said lowering his head. Because he remembered the clear instructions from His Majesty.

 

 

“General Nie ! I had told You not to let him die, then how did he die, there is no value of the statement if he is not able to accept it infront of all. they will easily declare this as lie now.” Lan Wangji shouted at him 

 

 

“Pardon me Your Majesty! I think it is more complicated then we thought. ” General Nie said and they discuss it for long time.

 

 

 

 

 

“General Nie ! Don’t tell anyone about it yet . First let us confirm it completely then we take any action ” Wangji said. 

 

“And yes I am not going to accept this kind of mistake again , «SO BE MORE CAREFUL»”. Wangji state deadly.  

 

The time they finished their discussion, it’s already dark outside so they left for their chambers.

 It is a cold night in the cloud recesses, cold winds are blowing. The stars are shining in the sky and the moon shining amidst those stars. It’s looks like the gleaming rays are calming to the restless minds. 

 

“ Even in this peaceful environment, Qingyang is distracted. She is pacing here and there in her room”. 

 

“One of his informants had informed him some time back that their spies was ready to open his mouth.” ”But he still cannot say with certainty whether he has told anything or not”.

 

 

“What If they already confess”? “What will we do now , First Consort?” Xiao Jia asked in a worried voice. 

 

“Now there is nothing about worrying. Whatever was meant to be happen has happened. Now We will have to wait till tomorrow to find out. Whatever happening tomorrow will decide the future of Luo clan”. Qingyang said calmly. 

 

 

 

“Tomorrow ! Why ? Are we not going to meet them now?” Xiao Jia asked in confusion.

 

“No…we are not going there now. the security around the dungeons has been increased, it seems that General Nie has realized something.” Qingyang said seriously.

No……. Qingyang said sternly. then she saw Xiao Jia’s nervous expression. And she smiled lightly , she knows that Xiao Jia is loyal to her . She will do everything to keep her clan and mistress safe. 

 

 

If we go there now….. Or do any suspicious things it’s means we asking for trouble . And “most importantly don’t forget about Lan Wangji , even I’m his first main consort and have more power from other consort ….. But still we are nothing infront of him”. “HE IS THE EMPEROR OF CHINA ”. Qingyang said coldly.

 

 

Xiao Jia shuddered from her cold voice . She knows Qingyang more then anyone . She knows Her Obsession for power , wealth and Emperor. 

 

 

“Then how can we going to explain this to Sect leader ”Now She Knowing that her mistress has no interest on giving any explanation now. She never did it no matter how many mistakes she made . But she still ask .

 

 

“What explanation……. We didn’t own any explanation”. Qingyang said evily.

Qingyang felt immense happiness. After so many days they are going to spend Quality time. She orders to the maids to make her room more beautiful . Sprey some fragrance and keep fresh flowers side of his bed. And bring most beautiful robe of her. 

 

 

 

After sometime Wangji came in her chamber and looks at her in amusement . She looks so beautiful in red robe with light makeup. Her innocent face complement her sexy attire. 

 

 

“What will Wuxian looked like if he get ready for him like this”. His breath got hitched. Unintentionally it’s first thought that come in his mind after seeing Qingyang in this sexy attire . His lips curls in smile without knowing him.

 

 

“Do I look beautiful? ” Qingyang asked excitedly seeing his expression. She can sees in his eyes is sparking and a beautiful smile curls on his lips . His eyes holds adorableness . And she like this moment very much.

 

 

After hearing Qingyang Wangji mindly slap him . What he was thinking. He breaks the silence and reply “Very much”.

 

 

Qingyang holds his hands and drag him towards the bed.  

 

 

“Is there anything special today?” Wangji asked teasingly.

 

 

“Yes there is so much special today ….. After long time I’m going to spend Quality time with my husband ”. Qingyang said smily her eyes held happiness. Finally Wangji came to her.

 

 

“Did you miss me this much ” Wangji asked.

 

 

“Yes……. I missed you so so so much” . Qingyang replied giving him tight hug.

 

 

“Then let me double your happiness …. Your father is coming Tomorrow. ” Wangji hug her back. Qingyang happiness fade away but she put a fake innocent smile in her face.

 

 

“ it’s great ……. But Why he is coming Tomorrow suddenly”. Qingyang asked innocently.

 

 

“Because I asked his presence for tomorrow assembly.” it’s the matter of politics. Wangji said.

 

 

“Ohhh ……. By the way is it anything serious”. Qingyang asked.

 

 

 

“Yes….. It is. Your father has broken some rules made by the lan clan, so he has been called to explain himself in tomorrow’s meeting.” Wangji said seriously. He observed Qingyang closely her face becomes sad and slightly red . 

 

 

“Don’t take it otherwise Your Majesty ….. But It’s a request . If my father made some mistake then please talk to him in the private. Is not it humiliating in the assembly?” Qingyang asked sadly she has tears in his eyes that looks like about to fall.

 

“As a daughter I can understand your concern and as a husband I will consider it.” 

“But as a EMPEROR how can I leave someone who dare to defying my rules.”Wangji asked pridefully.

 

 

“So be prepared for whatever happens tomorrow. If I found out anything unforgiving about sect leader Luo then I’m not gonna spare any mercy on him”. Wangji mentioned this words in stern tone. 

 

 

 

“Pardon me your Majesty! But it’s a family matter. I will request you to take it like that. 

I didn’t know what mistake my father made or what happened. But as a daughter it’s painful to seeing my father felt humiliating infront of everyone.” Qingyang requested.

 

 

“I told you already it’s not the family matters your father broke the rules made by me ? It’s come under betrayal. I’ll expect you to come as the nobal Lan Consort not as the Luo Qingyang”. Wangji berets.

 

 

“As you say Your Majesty ” her tears flow down on his face. 

 

 

Wangji made her sit on bed and wipe her tears. “I didn’t expect you to cry. ” you also rule on Harem, most of time when they made mistakes you punished them . It’s same like that” you don’t have to cry. Wangji tried to consol her but his words didn’t held any softness.

 

 

 

They both laying on bed and Qingyang head on his chest. And his arms are around her waist. She slowly starting to kiss him in his chest and then lips .

 

 

Wangji break the kiss immediately as he knows that what Qingyang tried to do.

“Mian Mian just sleep , aren’t you felt tired.”

 

 

“I need your warmth to fight with my inner thought….. Please give it to me” she said in seduction. And then they made their way towards activities.

 

 

It’s midnight and they did it for three times but Wangji didn’t felt satisfied. Beside him Qingyang already fell in sleep it’s bliss for her that after many days his husband give her pleasure. 

 

And on the other side Wangji was tossing and turning on the bed. He grone frustrating. 

He get up and wear his clothes and goes to his chamber . There he take a cold bath in this cold night. 

 

 

He lying on the bathtub and closed his eyes. He think about that what happened tonight. He sleep with Qingyang but his thoughts roam around Wei Wuxian. What happened with him. 

 

“IS THIS HOW AN ALPHA FELT WHEN HIS OMEGA DON’T IDENTIFY HIM AND DENYING HIM AGAIN AND AGAIN”.He can’t able to compose his thoughts. 

 

 

When he don’t find his comfort he straightly  goes towards the Wuxian’s chamber. Where he sees his sleeping Beauty. 

 

 

He is ethereal. Nothing to compared with not any consort not any concubine . But Wuxian is really more mysterious than others. 

 

 

Despite being his Omega, he did not recognize him as his Alpha, and when his Omega has strong will of denying his eyes turned red , even this Omega had the courage to oppose him even with his Alpha voice. And many more.

He lying on the bed beside Wei Wuxian and take him in his arms and again in the sleep his Omega snuggle him and hug him tightly in his sleep. He felt satisfied. 

 

“I want you to dependent on me for your whole life.” his feelings are complicated. One second he sees him lovingly and next moment his hate bring out. It’s totally complicated.

 

 

 

No one know that he already find his mate. First he didn’t want anyone because he didn’t want to bring any trouble for his Omega . But after Wuxian rejection his pride didn’t give himself permission to mark this brat Omega .

 It is a noisy morning in the cloud recesses. Everyone wants to know that why Emperor asked there presence in today’s assembly. Are Emperor going to apply new rules or taxes or there is another reason. 

 

 

 

The commoners alse present in this gathering . All General’s , minister’s , noble consort and family members are invited to join this. 

 

 

In this morning chaos occurs in the Harem. Everyone talking about sudden gathering. It’s not new for them. They just want to look pretty so Majesty may lay his eyes on them. even that for sometime.

She is just happy . After a long time she Wake up with smile and his face has glow.

She thought that Wangji left him in the morning and Xiao jia didn’t dare to tell her that he left in midnight. Why making this not so good morning to horrifying morning.

 

 

Her eyes don’t hold any concern for anyone. She picked some pretty white and sky blue robes who complement his pretty body. And got ready like noble consort of Lan. After that she tide up his veil. 

 

 

Next turn is for second consort Yao. She seems excited to go to assembly. She wants to know what happened. She doesn’t have any interest in politics in politics . But still it excited her.

 

 

Then it’s finally turn for Wei Wuxian who is still sleeping sweetly and comfortably. These days in this cold Lan clan he finds his comfort in sleep. And unconsciously felt safe. 

 

 

It’s still early morning and Emperor barge in his room with some servants. Servants holds the big trays of robes, jwellery, makeup, hair pins and many more. Lan clan never fails to show its wealth. 

 

Hearing so much noise, he became restless in his sleep and without opening his eyes he said, “Why are you making so much noise so early in the morning?” 

 

 

 

“Morning Consort Wei ……….. Now get up and get ready” a cold voice greeting him it’s more like command. 

 

 

Hearing the voice of the devil he suddenly opened his eyes and found the Emperor in front of him early in the morning.  

 

 

Most of time Wangji came in his chamber when Wuxian is in deep sleep, so they don’t have any argument and he leaves early before knowing him.

 

“Isn’t noise is prohibited in Lan clan? Then how can you barge in someone room and made noises.” Wuxian Complain with cute pouth. 

 

“Not for the Emperor ” …… I’m superior then rules. Wangji said.

 

 

“Now get up and get ready like noble Lan consort”. Wangji ordered again.

 

“Why are we going anywhere”, this thought confused him . The last time he take him outside, he broke his heart . Now what he want.

 

 

“No …….. I want your presence in assembly today.” Lan Wangji told coldly. Remembering what Wei Wuxian did last time. 

 

 

“Why ?……… Is there any specific reason after banned me in the assembly now you want my presence there.”? Wuxian asked raising his brows.

 

 

 

 “Yes …… There is.” Wangji shortly answer. But he got closer to Wei Wuxian.

 

 

Remember a thing Wei Wuxian “don’t you dare to do the same mistake again because this time Jiang clan pay the consequences.” he said sternly.

 

 

He knew that there was no use in punishing Wuxian, he had no fear of him. It seems as if he is determined to break every single rule of the Lan clan. 

 

 

“It’s not like that Lan Zhan treated him better than anyone or give him freedom for breaking the rules. It’s only been one and half month since they are married and Wangji punished him every time when he broke rules.”

 

 

“Writting the rules, made him kneel for hours, tried to make him apologize for his mistakes. Reciting rules loud and clear and many more . the Emperor punished him every time he broke the rules, but after all he is Wei Wuxian. THE TROUBLE MAKER.”

 

 

“I will come” Wuxian scoffed. But wangji tand there and didn’t bulge. 

 

 

“Now what ” Wuxian irritatly ask.

 

“ nothing…… Go get ready and don’t forget to cover yourself with veil“ Wangji said and about to leave but then turn around again “AND yes……. come for breakfast” saying this he leaves and wuxian rolled his eyes.

 

 

…………… IN ASSEMBLY……….

 

 

Assembly was held in central hall in cloud recesses. Where EMPEROR LAN used to punished culprits infront of everyone. 

 

Everyone present their today commoner’s, royal consort’s , Minister’s and Generals.

 

 

 

The royal spouses were on the upper part and were supposed to veil themselves so that nobody can see them. 

 

Everyone gets seated and as the announcement of Lan Wangji entering the hall was made everyone stood up.

 

 

Lan Wangji first saw uppar part where his spouses sit .He felt satisfied when he saw Wei Wuxian in proper Lan Clan white robe, hair tied in hair pins securely, and white ribbon tied on head as Lan Wangji Consort. And cover him in veil. 

 

 

 

 

 Lan WangJi sits on the throne. After that everyone sat at their places. Meanwhile, the arrival of sect leader Luo was announced.

 

 

“Greeting Your Majesty” sect leader Luo greet Emperor respectfully. 

 

 

Wangji nod and said “ May you take your seat sect leader Luo”.

 

“Begin the assembly ” The Emperor ordered.

 

 

 

 

“SU SHE stood up and presented four people in the court. All four of them looked scared and frightened. Their clothes were also dirty, it seemed as if they had not eaten anything for a long time.

 

 

“Your Majesty! These people’s lives near Dafan Mountain and doing the demonic experiment. They are doing blood rituals and feeding the evil soul . So they can control the soul’s for their own profit.” He states respectfully. 

 

Before Wangji said something a man cried loud. “No…… Your Majesty! We are the farmers . We didn’t do any witchcraft or demonic experiment”. He cried out loud. 

 

 

“Then what are you doing that day when we caught you red handed” Su She asked fiercely.

 

 

“We had gone there to search for my son. A few days ago, he had gone to cut wood in the forest near Dafan Mountain. But he never came back from there so we had to go there”. 

 

 

When we reached there, we heard screaming from inside Dafan Mountain forbidden area and reluctantly went into the forbidden area. 

 

 

When we went inside a little, we saw a man in pain who had deep wounds on his body and was bleeding. I felt like he was my son so we were just trying to help him. Then your soldiers reached there and arrested us.  

 

“Your Majesty! We found these things with them . If they had gone there to search for their son, then what were this book of black knowledge and these few talismans doing with them.” Su She explain and give things to Emperor. 

 

 

“Emperor looked at them deeply and passed it to Lan Qiren and General Nie. Lan Qiren confirmed that all these items are used in demonic cultivation. And other high intelligence people agree with it.”

 

 

“No they are not mine …….. We found these things near that person who is injured.” The man got scared after seeing all this and ask for mercy. 

 

 

”Do you have any evidence that can prove that all of you are innocent” Wangji asked them.

 

 

 

“No ….. we don’t have any” the other man said. “But we are really innocent Your Majesty. in our whole life we never did something like this. These things are not belong to us.” the man said with purity. Wangji can’t find lie . 

 

“I also don’t think people like you can do this… You can go.” Wangji state. 

 

 

Everyone felt shocked . How can Your Majesty do it . The Lan clan is strictly opposed for people who use black magic. They killed him on the spot. 

 

 

The people felt happy and kneel down for thanking him. As soon as they got down on their knees to thank him, Wangji’s sword cut off the heads of the other two people who stand behind him. 

 

An atmosphere of fear was created among the people. The heads of both of them were cut off and fell and a stream of blood flowed there. The people who were talking a moment ago became silent.Fear ran in there spine. 

 

With blood the black smoke came out with their body , Wangji immediately throw the talisman towards them and made that black smoke locked in dead bodies. The people who kneel down infront of him screamed loudly.

 

 

“Go to your home …… You both are free Now.” Wangji state and after thanking for his mercy they left. 

 

 

The week one can’t control evil. When other two tried to defend themselves, they are try to control their anger and hatred. They are sweating hard. Their dark energy wants to outside. 

 

 

They are so anxious that their body start to tremble. Everyone thought it’s because of fear of death but Wangji observed everyone from the beginning. So it’s not hard for him to find out the truth. 

 

 

 

 

 

“ Black magic or demonic practic

e is prohibited throughout the Lan Empire. Anyone caught doing so was punished severaly.” 

 

Everyone started appreciating the justice of the king.He did not punish any innocent person. But more fear increases in Sect leader Luo’s heart. After found out that Luo Qingyang did not even tried to help him , he felt pitiful. 

 

Author note:- First of all thank you so much for your patience and second I would like to apologize to all of you for leaving this story midway without any notice. But believe me, the last few months were quite hectic for me. There is more mental  pressure on me and I felt like suffocated with myself. This is the time when I can’t console myself and didn’t get any motivation. I can’t explain myself to you because I don’t have any words for that But still you all wait patiently for update.
