HIME – Chapter -4

Yibo : “I think, i need to do something ..”

Haoxuan looked at him with his raised eyebrows and Yibo looked at his expressions and  realised, he said it aloud.

He cleared his throat and looked away from Haoxuan and started covering up his words..

Yibo : “i mean i remember to to something, I’m leaving first. “

He stood up from his seat and left that cafe leaving Haoxuan alone. Haoxuan chuckled and shook his head in amusement.

He entered in a University and his eyes fell on Zhan and his friend group. He clenched his jaw and started walking toward them.

“Yibo You look exhausted, I bought Juice for you.”

A random girl said to him while walking beside him and Yibo took that drink from her hands. That girl widened her eyes and stopped in her place making other girls stopped too with their shocked expressions. She started bragging that Yibo paid attention to her.

On the other hand, Yibo approached Zhan who was laughing with Ziyi Cheng, Yubin and YangZi.

Zhan was sitting on a bench with Yang Zi & Yubin with some papers on his lap and trying to arrange those papers.

Zhan was so busy that he couldn’t notice Yibo’s arrival and continuously talking with his friends who became silent all of a sudden.

Zhan : “And you know what, Well, you wont believe me but I fell fucking asleep while watching Po*n.”

He noticed no one is giving him any response.

Zhan: “Its hard for anyone to turned me o—-What the F*ck !

At the exact moment Yibo poured the whole juice on Zhan’s Lap, basically on his assignment. He looked up and saw Yibo’s dark eyes and his face was red.

Zhan : ” What the hell is wrong with you !! ”

He immediately stood up and started saving his assignment as much as possible. Everyone gasped while looking at them. No one expected Yibo could do this to someone.

Zhan : ” Are you f*cking out of your mind !?? WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT!!”

He screamed on his face with his furious expressions. He was too angry on him that time, that he wanted to punch him on his face.

Yibo smirked and shrugged his shoulders and without an ounce of remorse.

Yibo : ” Oops my bad, i tripped and this happened. Sorry for your loss.”

Zhan scoffed in disbelief and said with his irritated face and his voice was becoming harsh.

Zhan : “DROP YOUR FUCKING ACT YIBO..! What the hell i did this time ? Can’t you just leave me alone and let me live peacefully ? Do you really hate me this much!? Can’t you see me relax for a second? I’m just fed up of your daily revenge game!!! I’m fed up of you Wang Yibo!!! “

He said without realising what he was saying. Anger made him lost his control and he wasn’t totally wrong, any normal person could have reacted like that.

But her words pierced Yibo’s heart like a knife. Yibo took a step towards him and Cheng tried to hold his hand to stop him. Cheng feared Yibo would hit Zhan but Yibo immediately let go of his hand from cheng’s grip and stared at Cheng, asking him to take a step back.

He turned toward Zhan who was still fuming with anger.

Yibo : “Why are you reacting like that. It was just an assignment. Or…Are you angry because i ruined your lovely moment with your lovely and special friend or i could say your girlfriend? “

Zhan furrowed in confusion and irritation. He was still trying to control himself as much as possible. But Yibo was continuously getting on his nerves.

Zhan : ” WHAT!?? Where did you left your brain this time? Do you realising what the hell are you saying right now!? ‘Just an assignment ‘!? I stayed for the whole 3 F***ing night to make this when you were snoring in your bed all drunk !! And who for god’ sake  is my girlfriend? Even i dont know about it.”

Yangzi looked at him with her hurt eyes, she was losing hope slowly but his words stabbed hard on her heart. Yibo felt relief after listening this but just a little.

Zhan didn’t stepped back and everyone was looking at them with their wide eyes. Other people were also started gathering around them. It was going to become the hot topic soon as two hot guys were arguing or maybe they were going to fight.

Yibo wasn’t liking how zhan was insulting him in front of everyone, specially in front of YangZi. Yibo started questioning himself ‘why the hell i did that, just for his attention!?’ ‘I could have talked to him nicely’.. But Zhan’s reaction was too much for Yibo.

Yibo : ” I told you i tripped and Juice fell on your lap. And if you are just fuming for your f***ing assignment, then  i will give you ten of them. Do you want it?”

Zhan rolled his eyes and sighed in frustration..

Zhan : ” I just want you to apologize for the mistake.. I don’t want 10 copies of assignment. “

Yibo clenched his jaw when he heard that. ‘Apologize in front of everyone, in front of YangZi ? No F****king way! ‘ Yibo turned around and looked at the girls who was standing behind them with their shocked face.

Yibo : ” One who will make this assignment and give it to me first. I will follow back her on social media. ”

Those girls immediately went toward the Zhan to check what was his topic. Zhan widened his eyes when he saw that.

Zhan :” What the …

He looked at yibo again who was staring at him only.

Yibo :” Happy now? “

After saying that he left Zhan there with his friends and those girls. He scoffed in disbelief when girls again started following him like his tail.

Zhan was standing there all dumbfounded.

Zhan : ” Did he just show off his popularity to ME!? ”

He asked while looking around towards his friends who were still shocked. Cheng chuckled and said in his teasing voice.

Cheng : ” Well, he wasn’t showing off, he is really popular. “

Zhan pouted and whispered to himself.

Zhan : “Am i the only one who is thinking he was showing off. Or his popularity is really bothering me?”

Yang Zi took step toward Zhan and put her hands on his shoulders and he turned around and saw YangZi’s worried eyes.

Yang Zi : “Zhan, Are you okay? What you will do now?”

He smiled at her and nodded his head and with his naughty smile.

Zhan : I’m totally fine. And don’t worry I’m used to it. It wasn’t the first time when he destroyed something of me. But this time he will give me my assignment. And anyways my assignment wasn’t really complete. I thought i had to skip my sleep tonight too but thanks to him i will get totally new complete assignment. “

He giggled evilly and Ziyi hit his shoulder and glared at him.

Ziyi : Then why were you being harsh to Yibo. I’m feeling bad for him now.”

Zhan gasped in shock or we can say he was feeling betrayed.

Zhan : Did you just— just took my enemy’s side!? Wow!! What a nice friend i have. Oh God i wish I would have became deaf before listening to this traitor “

He said while looking at her up and down with his gritted teeth in a joking manner. Everyone chuckled at his childish behaviour.

On the other hand Yibo was embarrassed on himself, how could he believe Haoxuan. He knows how evil that boy is. He took long strides toward his room, entered into it without anyone’s permission and saw and Jiyang was working on his laptop.

He immediately stood up when he saw Yibo there. His presence was a pressure for everyone and he knows it.

Jiyang : Yibo do you need something? Haoxuan is not here right now “

Yibo : ” Keep working, don’t mind me ”

He went toward the Haoxuan’s study table and opened his laptop. Jiyang was feeling uncomfortable all alone with Yibo so he stepped out of his own room.

Yibo started writing the assignment that he ruined before. He knows the topic and it was just a piece of cake for him as he was really an intelligent guy.

5 hours later when Haoxuan entered in his room and saw Jiyang was sitting all nervous on his bed. He widened his eyes when his eyes fell on Yibo.

Haoxuan : “What are you doing with my laptop Yibo!? ”

Yibo turned around just to glared at him and said with his emotionless cold voice.

Yibo : ” Redemption”

Haoxuan furrowed in confusion and looked at Jiyang who smiled nervously and nodded.

Jiyang : “When i went out for some fresh air. I got to know he ruined Zhan’s assignment by mistake. “

Haoxuan face turned toward and smirked while saying.

Haoxuan : ” By mistake!? I don’t believe in your last words”

Yibo closed his laptop furiously and said while turning around with his usual face .

Yibo : ” Shut the f***ing up and let me focus! It’s all your fault.”

He turned back and started typing again. Haoxuan closed his door and sat on Jiyang’s bed beside him.

Haoxuan : ” Go and focus on your room. Why are you doing this here. Are you gonna stay in our room tonight? ”

He asked but he didn’t get any reply. Jiyang looked at Haoxuan and raised his eyebrows to know the answer.

Haoxuan : ” He said he is going to stay here with us.”

Jiyang : ” but he haven’t replied yet.”

Haoxuan smirked proudly and said.

Haoxuan : “He’d be gone by now if he wasn’t planning on staying here all night. I guess we’ll have to share the bed tonight.”

He said to Jiyang who was nodding in understanding. Haoxuan was dancing inside his heart. But Yibo immediately shot in his dreams.

Yibo : ” No need, I’ll be using this chair only. After finishing my assignment, I’ll leave.”

Haoxuan smile vanished and he realised Yibo must be angry on him because he lied to provoke him.

Zhan was continuously looking at Yibo’s empty bed and checking the time again and again. He was getting worried for him.

He thought he would able to sleep tonight but he couldn’t, even though he hadn’t slept yesterday. He pouted in confusion and asked to himself.

Zhan : “Did i really overly reacted on him!? Just for an assignment? I could have destroyed his assignment in place of shouting at him. Aishh.. Where the hell is he!? “

He took out his phone but he doesn’t have Yibo’s number. He called Haoxuan and he picked up after few rings.

*Call*

Zhan : “Hello !”

Haoxuan : “Hey ! Why are you calling me at this time!? Is everything okay? “

Zhan bit his lips in nervousness and laughed awkwardly as he rarely call or talked to Haoxuan but he couldn’t just accept that he called him because he wants to know about Yibo.

Zhan :” haha. Just because.. I wanted to just talk to you.. Yeah! How are you!? “

Haoxuan : ” Yeah I’m fine.. Thanks for asking. I thought we aren’t this close to calling at midnight. “

He was purposely trying to tease Zhan and creating things more awkward for Zhan. Zhan gritted his teeth and cursed him under his breath.

Zhan :” oh come on, You called me yesterday. And we met at midnight.. Of course we are close. And you are Cheng’s friend so You are friend of mine too”

Zhan wasn’t realising what he was saying and how stupid his words were sounding like.

Haoxuan : ” okay let’s talk…”

Zhan :” Who are you with right now!? Am I disturbing you?”

He asked…

Haoxuan : ” Yibo is with me “

Zhan sighed in relief and said…

Zhan : “Oh then you must be busy… Okay okay I understand.. Good night. See you tomorrow.”

After saying that he cut the call and released his breath that he was holding.

Zhan : ” I shouldn’t have worried about him “

***********************************

Next morning

Zhan woke up and looked around the room and saw Yibo was sleeping on his bed peacefully.

Zhan : “Isn’t he going to attend today’s lecture, it is the last date for submitting assignment. Wait- What about my assignment..??”

He looked at him but his eyes fell on his study table. There was a new blue colour file with the name of Xiao Zhan.. He immediately went toward his table and picked up the file and started checking it with his widened eyes.

Zhan : ” Wow! Who made this file. It is far better than my previous one.. I should say that girl must be so intelligent. Still dumb enough to follow Yibo everywhere.”

He smiled happily, totally satisfied with the assignment. He looked toward the Yibo and went toward his bed and shook him a little to wake him up. Yibo slowly opened his eyes and saw Zhan in front of him who was looking at him with his concerned face.

Zhan : “Yibo its time for lecture. Aren’t you going to attend today’s lecture?. “

Yibo didn’t reply, he was just staring at zhan and Zhan was feeling awkward.

When he saw he wasn’t getting up, he looked away and went inside the bathroom to do his morning routine.

Professor was collecting students Assignment when Yibo entered in a classroom without his permission. He went towards the Zhan’s seat but YangZi and Cheng was sitting beside him so he went just behind the seat of Xiao Zhan and sat there.

Professor : “Mr. Wang Yibo you haven’t given me your assignment”

Professor said while looking all the assignment and list of students who submitted their assignment.

Yibo : ” I didn’t make it “

Professor didn’t reply anything after listening that and started collecting all the assignment. Zhan turned around and looked at Yibo with his confused expressions.

Zhan :” Follow one more girl and submit your assignment Yibo. I’m sure there must be more girls who have made assignment for you. And if not then why the hell you gave me the assignment!?. You could have submitted it as yours.”

He asked.. But yibo didn’t reply him again. He was looking at him with some different kind of eyes. And it was bothering Zhan..

Usually he shown his emotionless cold face to him and everyone but this time it was something else, he wasn’t smiling and furrowing but his eyes…. There were something else..

‘Maybe sleep, he wants to sleep yeah’ zhan thought in his mind and turned back to his normal position as he knows he won’t get any reply.

**********************************

*Cafeteria*

Zhan was sitting with friends. Haoxuan and Jiyang was present there too. But Yibo wasn’t there..

Zhan’s eyes was moving at the entrance gate of cafeteria again and again but there was no sign of Yibo.

Yubin : “Where is Yibo, isn’t he going to eat anything? Its already lunch time .. Why are you guys eating without him?”

For the first time after so long, Zhan felt happy to have Yubin, he asked what he was thinking inside his brain. He looked at Yubin emotionally and Yubin winked at him.

Well, zhan wasn’t expecting that Yubin could able to read his mind. But he was thankful.

Jiyang : “He must be sleeping right now.. He stayed up all night to make assignment. He didn’t  close his eyes for a single second yesterday “

Zhan furrowed in confusion and asked

Zhan : ” Then why didn’t he submit his assignment!? “

Jiyang : “Actually he was making it for you.”

Zhan narrowed his eyes and asked with a slight shocking expression.

Zhan : Are you fucking serious?

Haoxuan : ” yeah he hasn’t told you?”

Zhan : “He asked those girls to make assignment for me and he will follow them back.”

Haoxaun scoffed while eating his lunch and replied..

Haoxuan : ” Do you really think anyone could complete that assignment in just one night? No one can do this except Yibo . ”

Zhan widened his eyes and he asked…

Zhan : “You mean….

Haoxuan : ” yes he made your assignment”

Everyone on that table got shocked. Specially Zhan,.. He never thought yibo would do this for him…For Zhan … For His enemy..

He immediately stood up and left without saying anything. Yang Zi looked at him with her worried face and Yubin smiled and nodded while looking at her to make her feel better

Yang Zi : What a big deal.? He ruined it. So it was his responsibility anyways.

On the other hand, Yibo was sitting in a library. He needs some time alone to think about his feelings. He was fighting with himself that…

‘there is no way i like boys, specially Zhan, i should not like him at all. What my parents will think about me? They will never accept this. And…Zhan really doesn’t give a f*ck about me. I should stop myself from  liking him. There is no way he would like me back. He is not gay like me .. It will only hurt me at the end.’

He was so emerged in his thought but then he heard a loud voice in a quite library.

Zhan : “Wang Yibo! “

Everyone looked at him and he started walking toward the Wang Yibo’s table with a slight smile.

It was so angelic that Yibo got stuck in it and didn’t realise he was staring at him for 30 seconds. Zhan waved his hand and huffed while breathing heavily. He was sweating like he was running from so long.

Zhan : ” You are here and i was looking for you everywhere. I was planning to check in ladies washroom after library. But thank god i found you here.”

He said without realising everyone was looking at them. Yibo furrowed in curiosity as to why he was looking for him and he was confused too because there is no way he would go to the ladies washroom. But he knows how shameless zhan is.. so he said…

Yibo :” Its library. Keep quite .”

Zhan looked around and widened his eyes when he saw everyone’s eyes on him. He bowed in apologizing way and sat beside Yibo..

Yibo gulped hard when his left thigh touched with Zhan’s..

He realised at that moment, his body is loyal for Zhan’s touch only. Only he can make his heart race, only he can make him like this…

Zhan : “Actually,…. I want to thanks and apologize for what i said yes—“

He couldn’t complete his sentence when Yibo grabbed his wrist and pulled him with himself. They hide behind the book shelf and Zhan looked at him with his furrowed eyebrows and asked in his whispered tone

Zhan : “Why are you hiding!? And from whom!?”

Yibo looked at him who was standing beside him and their shoulders were touching… Yibo just wanted to close his eyes and feel it as much as he can… But he cleared his throat and pointed his finger toward the entrance…

Zhan looked at the direction and saw there was a girl who always follow Yibo and zhan thought, he really got fed up of her.. And he chuckled at him.. But he didn’t noticed YangZi had also entered in a library at the same time…

Zhan :” Are you scared of a girl? I thought you love it when girls follow you everywhere.”

Yibo furrowed and looked toward the direction and scoffed…

Yibo : ” Do you know her brother is our senior. He has his own gang. “

Zhan widened his eyes and said..

Zhan : “If this is the case hide then somewhere else.. Let’s go there.. “

He grabbed his wrist and started walking toward the tiny storage room. They entered into the room and Zhan locked it from inside.

Yibo widened his eyes and his whole system started hanging. His brain was imagining unhealthy things and he gulped hard and looked away from Zhan

Thankfully there was window so that room has enough light to see each other or it would be a huge problem.. Specially for Zhan… Zhan afraid of dark but Yibo was with him so he was fine.

Zhan noticed Yibo’s expressions and smirked while thinking something naughty.

Zhan :” Finally I can have you for myself.. All alone “

Yibo widened his eyes when he heard that, he looked at him and saw so much seriousness that he got scared.

Zhan started walking toward him and within a second Zhan caged Yibo between his arms. Yibo was standing against the old cupboard and Zhan was looking at him like he was looking at his meal.

Yibo gulped hard and said…

Yibo :” What are you doing!? “

Zhan smirked while saying..

Zhan : “What do you think? I’m thinking from where should I start.. Up …or down ?”

Yibo gasped at his words and felt so many butterflies in his stomach. He was getting excited..

Yibo :”Zhan .. What are you– scheming ? “

Zhan looked at Yibo’s lips and whispered making yibo all hungry for Zhan.

Zhan : ” i want to eat you.. I’m hungry for you from so long”..

Yibo released a needy breath when he heard that.. He wants to eat him too, touch him, kiss him, feel him, and lov–

His thought stopped when Zhan started laughing while holding his stomach. Yibo furrowed and realised Zhan was just messing up with him.

Zhan :” Look at your face… Yibo you are too naive .. Did you really think i was a vampire for few seconds?hahaha”

Yibo was too angry at him. He kicked book self behind Zhan but immediately widened his eyes when he saw few books started falling on Zhan. Yibo immediately turned him around while covering his body and hugged him tightly while books was falling on Yibo’s back…

When books stopped falling on him. Yibo immediately released his grip , opened the door and left without saying anything. He made sure to leave the door slightly open so Zhan don’t feel uncomfortable.

Zhan pouted and said while looking at the direction of the door..

Zhan :” How can he just leave after doing that.. I couldn’t even thank him.”

He came out of the room and saw that girl from whom they were both hiding. She was glaring at him.

He smirked at her and left her alone..

He never thought that he would feel so satisfied to make a random girl feel jealous…
