Zhan : If you want I can go down for you…

Yibo’s breath hitched while looking at Zhan who was knelling down in front of Yibo. Zhan was looking nervous and Yibo’s heart melted seeing him like that. He felt he couldn’t be more lucky to have Zhan in his life. Yibo breath out to control himself and grabbed Zhan’s shoulder to make him stand up again. Zhan furrowed in confusion after standing up and Yibo smiled warmly while looking at him.

Yibo : You don’t need to do it. Don’t force yourself to do anything to return a favour because i will never do that. You should know that i went down for you because i genuinely wanted to do please you.

Zhan realised that Yibo was thinking that he is just returning a favour but in reality he also wanted to please Yibo just like he did. Its not because he wanted to return favour but he wanted to experience what it feels like to please Yibo. He grabbed yibo’s hand, brought it toward his lips and kissed his fingers before saying

Zhan : Then listen to me carefully, i’m doing it because i genuinely want to please you

Yibo : Open your mouth.

Zhan obediently opened it and Yibo put his tongue inside tasting himself and kissed him harder while Zhan was losing his balance. Yibo left him and looked at his beautiful red face and swelled lips.

Zhan : Did you …like it..? Was I ….good?

He asked with a slight nervousness and Yibo smiled and strock his cheeks lovingly before kissing his left cheek and hugged him and whispered into his ear.

Yibo : So good. I love it. If I could i would like to make you su*k me everyday.

Zhan smirked listening that and pulled Yibo’s pants up and buckled his belt before saying.

Zhan : I’m going to take bath and brush my teeth again or everyone will guess what i’ve done.

After the lecture when everyone was walking towards the canteen, Zhan was glancing at YangZi time to time so that he could find the perfect timing to talk to her. YangZi was blushing thinking Zhan finally started giving her attention.

Haoxuan : Yibo and I will eat outside the campus.  You guys may go without us.

He announced with his furrowed eyebrows and Yibo tilted his face because he had no idea of this plan. Jiyang sighed in defeat and looked at Haoxuan with his soft eyes. Everyone around them understood the tension between Jiyang and Haoxuan.

Jiyang : Can.. i join you?

He asked in his soft low voice melting everyone’s heart. But Haoxuan scoffed and replied in his cold tone breaking the innocent heart of Jiyang.

Haoxuan : No… Lets go Yibo.

Yibo : Ahh??

He looked at Haoxuan with his confused face but Haoxuan grabbed his wrist and started dragging him in other direction.  Zhan pouted looking at Yibo’s back as he doesn’t want him to go without Zhan.

YangZi : Lets go guys..

She said with his cheerful voice as she thought its good that Yibo will not be there to disturb her and Zhan. Everyone nodded and started walking towards the canteen.

During lunch, Zhan was keep thinking about Yibo. He was missing his presence, his glare when he gave attention to Yangzi or touch anyone. His teasing under the table and small fake fight in front of everyone. He kept smiling thinking about all these.

They ate together with Jiyang and made some silly joke to make his mood better. Jiyang felt really good to have such nice friends in his life because they never asked him what happened between Haoxuan and him.  They know some things are too personal and people may not feel comfortable in sharing with anyone.  He wanted to thank them but then he thought it would be too formal.

Zhan : YangZi.. I need to talk to you privately.

Everyone around them widened their eyes in surprise and hooted. Ziyi hit Yangzi’s shoulder lightly to tease her. Her blushing face turned red and she nodded while looking at Zhan.

After reaching in a empty corner, he stood in front of her who was blushing hard. He took deep breath to say everything he wanted to tell her without being too cruel.

Zhan : YangZi actually, I don’t like you in that way.

Without beating around the bush, he directly came to the point as he doesn’t want to confuse her more. He already indirectly gave her hopes by not refusing her proposal and he really felt guilty for this. He never gave her reply and yangzi never talk about it to him so he thought she guessed he is not interested in her. Maybe he would never talk about it again if this matter didn’t reach at this point.

On the other hand, Yangzi was expecting something different. After yesterday’s event she was so happy and excited that her parents coincidentally choose the person that she likes. But after listening Zhan, her smile immediately vanished in few seconds. She never asked Zhan to reply her because somewhere she was afraid of getting rejected.

YangZi : Why? Is there something you don’t like about me? Ah? Tell me i will change myself Zhan–

Zhan : No..

He cut off her when he saw her tears and desperate face. He looked around and huffed before saying.

Zhan : You are perfect. You don’t need to change for me or anyone. Its just me.. I– I–

YangZi : Is it because of Wang Yibo?

He widened his eyes after listening her. Never in his dreams he thought his conversation will lead to this point. But just after mentioning his name, his heart started beating too fast which was like dead few minutes ago. He gulped hard to control his facial expressions and started explaining

Zhan : No.. Why it would be related to him.  ?

She scoffed with her teary eyes and he got more nervous as he never saw her like that.

YangZi : Don’t tell me, you don’t have any idea about his feelings toward you. You didn’t guess it yet? The way he look at you, treat you, change his attitude for you, make new friends just to be with you, don’t even blink when you get unconscious, show his possessiveness for you and fight with anyone if someone hurt you. Even i can see his feelings, so don’t tell me you don’t know. If you will reject me don’t you think he will think you also have feelings for him.

Zhan was furrowing at first after listening her he was totally mess, his hands were shaking, he was feeling cold sweat on the back of his neck and his heart was beating loudly. His eyes were wide opened and he thought he forgot his native language. He came out his trance after few seconds and opened his mouth after clearing his throat to speak.

Zhan : Y-You.. Its not true.. He — anyways its our matter whatever he feel its doesn’t related to you. I already told my parents that i don’t want to marry you and its not because of yibo or anyone. Its.. Its just me.. I- I- Actually I’m not ready for any relationship. You are my good friend, i hope we can continue our friendship in future.

Zhan tried to give her valid reason without revealing his sexuality because he wasn’t ready to tell about him to anyone. She wiped her tears and nodded bitterly before saying

YangZi : Okay so you aren’t ready yet. Good, I’ll wait for you Zhan. I’ll wait for you to be ready to accept me.

Zhan was getting frustrated because of her stubbornness. He thought he shouldn’t hide about him from her and tell her the real reason that why he will never like her so she could not  waste her time.

Zhan : Lis–

Yangzi : And I’ll pretend we never talk today and you never gave me any reply.

After saying that she turned around and started walking away from him. He called her name but she ignored him and left him without listening anymore He rubbed his forehead as he started getting headache just after talking 3- to 4 minutes with her. Now he has to find another opportunity to tell her his real reason. He kicked his leg on a near wall in frustration because he has to face Yibo in few minutes and he will ask him about YangZi.

He was about to go but then he saw a girl who came in front of him with her nervous face. He cleared her throat and he furrowed in confusion to see an unknown girl who probably want to talk to him.

?? : Can  i …can i use your phone, my phone is dead and i want to make an emergency call.

He sighed in relief as he thought this girl came to prapose him. She nodded before taking out his phone and gave it to her after unlocking with a smile. She grabbed her phone and went few steps away from him to talk. He turned his face away as he doesn’t want to spy on her as it won’t look good. And its not like she would run with his phone because they both are from same college.

After using his phone she came toward him and gave him back and bowed while thanking him with a smile. He smiled back and left from there.

He came back into his dorm with his headache and laid down on his bed to rest a little.  Yubin was sitting on his study table and writing something. Zhan look around and found Yibo haven’t came back yet. He took out his phone and messaged him

Zhan : Come fast I’m waiting.

He closed his phone screen and sighed in distress. He doesn’t want to stay away from yibo for so long. He has been missing him from so long and after talking with Yangzi he really need Yibo to hug him and pat his back.

Suddenly his mind started recalling what Yangzi told him about Yibo. Once again his heart started crossing limits just by thinking about all these. And when he started thinking about it, he found whatever Yangzi told him was all true incidents. Yibo do all these things for him. He always come out of his comfort zone for Zhan. But is it means that Yibo like him? No way.. Yibo is not a person who believes in love and all.

Zhan’s mind was thinking all these and he came to a conclusion that he is thinking too much. He shouldn’t think more about what YangZi told him. And if Yibo likes him then he will told him directly because he doesn’t fear of anything. He is the person who asked him to be his friend with benefits so his feelings must be just lust not love.

He received Yibo’s reply and he immediately unlocked his screen and saw his message.

(Yibo : Coming… I’m just here ..)

Zhan’s heart jumped and he started biting his lips in excitement and nervousness. He locked his phone and  got up to sit properly. He removed invisible dust from his clothes and checked his hair with his hands before sitting straight. He folded his arms against his chest and look straight. He wanted to look normal as he doesn’t want to show yibo that he was missing him but he ended up looking the most abnormal here in this room.

His waist started paining by sitting too straight for few minutes. He released his breath which he was holding for so long and relaxed his muscles. He looked at his watch started waiting and again.

Few minutes later he took out his phone but immediately locked it as he thought he is being impatient too much. But it was weird for him. Yibo told him that he is here and haven’t came back yet. He sighed to relax himself and he was getting distress for no reason. He thought Yibo will be back here or where else would he go.

After 15 minutes of waiting he decided to call Yibo but suddenly he received a video clip from Yibo’s number. He furrowed and smiled before opening it but he immediately widened his eyes when he saw that.

In that video he saw Yibo was lying  in a empty swimming pool. Yibo’s hands and legs were tied. His eyes were closed probably because he was unconscious. And suddenly someone turned on the water tap of the  swimming pool. The pressure of water wasn’t very high but it would fill the pool in 20 minutes if he is not wrong.

Zhan stood up from his bed while watching that video. His heart dropped into his stomach and he started sweating hard, his  whole body was trembling in fear, anxiety and anger. His whole body turned cold in fear and mind stopped working for a few seconds. He couldn’t able to think what to do ? How to save him?

He was seeing Yibo like that and feeling he was dying to see it. His heart was clenching in pain and beating too fast. He saw this scene years ago, in his nightmares and days ago and wish he would never witness it again, never in his next life or any other life.

He was going to call Yibo’s number when he suddenly received a message from Yibo’s number.  He immediately clicked on it as he knew that person is not Yibo but someone who is responsible for Yibo’s condition.
